    Kids cheese pizza

The only reason I'm not giving this place a five is because I made a reservation online and when I got there, there was no one to greet us and we had to flag down an employee only to be told we can seat ourselves. Not sure if that it is the norm or because it really wasn't busy due to the weather. We were able to sit by the window, which gave us a lovely view of the water, which was really great. Our waitress Robin, was amazing! She was really friendly gave us a great suggestions on whether or not things were good on the menu, and was very attentive and kind. Everything we ordered was really good with the exception of the kids pizza. Overall, a great experience celebrating Fathers Day, and we will definitely be back on a day with better weather so we can sit outside

We stopped at Lazy Turtle for an unexpected lunch. It is such a cute little hidden gem right that sits right on the Indian River Lagoon. It actually may have been our best meal down here! We ordered the Tres Tiki Taco Loco (shrimp and mahi) and they were so amazing! My mom said they may have been the best shrimp tacos she's ever had, and I may have to agree. Their mango salsa and volcano sauce is amazing!! My dad really liked their shrimp po boy as well. Drinks were good, especially the Coco Locco Mojito! 10/10, such a great find and we definitely plan to go back. They also have many gluten free options, including apps and entrees, and even 1 dessert! GF is marked on the menu!

I recently visited Lazy Turtle RiverFront Grill & Tiki Bar for the first time while attending a celebration with my community organization, and we had a group of about 12 people. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. Our server, Audrey, truly made the night. She was incredibly attentive, patient, and friendly--especially impressive given the size of our group. She kept everything organized, checked in on us consistently, and made sure everyone felt taken care of without ever rushing us. Her positive attitude and professionalism really stood out and added to the celebratory atmosphere. I ordered the island rigatoni with jerk grilled chicken (not listed by that exact name on the website), and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were on point, the portion was satisfying, and honestly, everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. Across the board, the food was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. Between the great food, waterfront vibe, and outstanding service from Audrey, Lazy Turtle was the perfect spot for our group celebration. We all had a great time and would definitely return--especially if Audrey is working! Highly recommend.

The service was excellent and the food was out of this world. Love the vibe here like a time capsule. The only reason it isn't a 5 star is the place could use a renovation as it looks a little dated.

Looking for seafood with a view of the water and Lazy Turtle was it. It was windy and rainy so we couldn't sit outside at the Tiki Bar but we still had a view with good service! We had Fish and Chips with the best slaw I've had in a while and the Blackened Grouper sandwich! Superb!

We were in earlier this week. Our bartender Heather was amazing. Gave us lots of great advice about the menu as well as the drinks. We sat outside at the tiki bar and the view is amazing!! Tried the Ahi tuna nachos and boyyyyy they were delicious. We will definitely be back every time we are in the area. Heather made sure of that.

Came here for my birthday dinner and I really liked my volcano shrimp that was gluten free. I loved that out back they had a saxophone player it made for a really nice atmosphere. It is a nice little place on the river. It might not be somewhere I go all the time but for a special occasion it was nice. The server was nice and made sure we were okay through out our time there. My husband's drink was just a bit too strong but they did go back and change it and just make a virgin one for him. His food he wasn't super happy with that there was too much dressing on his sandwich. All in all it's a nice spot just not somewhere I would find myself frequenting.

Came here with our party of 10, including 5 kiddos. Got right in on at around 6:00 in a Friday, which could be a red flag. The Lazy Turtle turned out to be a great choice. Service was fast and accurate. The only problem was we ordered fish and chips from the kids menu, but received the adult portion. Our server noticed immediately and only charged us for the kids meal. The rest of the food was great, especially the blackened grouper, blackened Mahi and the sushi. They also had a singer that was perfect for dining hours on the deck during our meal. Great place!

The food was good and our server was very nice, but I think they must have been a little understaffed because I don't feel like he was around very much. We came for the views, but the wind was giving us a little bit of a hard time. In my party of 3 we each ordered a drink and an appetizer. I got the island blackened chicken nachos and they were huge, definitely enough to share between a few people. My friend got the lump crab cake bites and they were tasty. My cousin got the crispy volcano shrimp and they were good, your typical 'bang bang shrimp'

The name of this restaurant matches the service. Don't waste your time and money here. We arrived here sometime before 3p. Didn't leave this place until after 530p. The restaurant was empty at the time we arrived and left. Maybe 5 tables occupied the whole time. They took a few minutes to push some tables together for our party of 8 outside. After we sat down it took a long time for menus to get to us. Then it took a long time for us to get our waters and other drinks. Then our food order was taken another 10-15 mins later. 4p rolls around and no food. 430p rolls around and no food. We ordered a few sandwiches, soups, tacos and nachos. Nothing complicated or requiring anyone to go fish and hunt for our food in the ocean. One of us got up and searched for the server or manager and was told our food would be out shortly. 20 mins roll by and we get up and go check again. Then we notice the guy that was seated not too long ago at the bar got his nacho order. It was time to throw a fit. The family next to us got their food pretty late too. Kids got served first and parents food came out like 45 minutes later. We go in and try to cancel our food so we can leave because it was clear to us that a few people that had arrived way after us had got their food. So apparently according to the manager, there was an issue with the system and they had to key our order in 3 times!!! And none of the 2 managers were able to communicate this to us and tell us that there would be a delay in our food due to this. As 1 friend was talked to 1 manager, our food came out. This was after 5. When the waitress brought out our food, she told us that our food would be comped!!!! All of it. Except alcohol. That was fine. So then we inhaled our food in 5 minutes cause we were starving to death and ready to drive back home to Orlando and wanted to get the h*** out of there. Then it seemed like the 2 managers did not communicate with each other because one of them did not want to comp the entire meal. But the other manager said she would. Except for alcohol. We were already closed out and paid for all of our drinks and beers. Probably 16 drinks between all 8 of us. Left the waitress cash tips. They need to get their act together with their communication and their service. Horrendous service. I did enjoy my wedge salad and my lobster bisque though. But was not worth the wait.

So let's start with the reviews. Several commented on how the lazy turtles service was, well" slow as a turtle" ! Our service was excellent and considering Friday night at 7:00 pm prime time. Started with shrimp cocktail, not jump but large. Excellent sea food sauce. Could have been a couple additional shrimp for $19.95, the wedge side said wax huge and delicious. My spouse has the Hemingway with snapper was wonderful. My seafood paella was amazing . Scallops, shrimp, sausage and mussels. Ending a fine dinning experience with a 7 layer chocolate cake and a couple of coffees. Live entertainment, a fantastic view. And we will be back.

Forgot to take pics of the wedge salad and lobster bisque but phenomenal!!!! The staff here were so nice and attentive. What a great find just winging it. Thank you Debra for being an amazing waitress. We really enjoyed our meal here!!

Its very light while still creamy, very lobster forward and you know it because its right on top. Both times we went with the seafood lovers and its as it says for seafood LOVERS. Fresh. Fresh. This may be our choice every single time, I cant go without it! My son gets his chicken tenders amd fries. Dad tax is a must because the fries are crispy and well made. Seating was available inside and outside. We opted to sit inside but needed a jacket because it was pretty chilly. It must have been a popular spot to celebrate Valentines' day- to our disappointment they were out of some of the dishes we were interested in trying. We opted for the crab cake, which was good with very little filler. The Fisherman's Bounty Platter ($30) came with shrimp, fish bites, oysters, and sea scallops along with fries and coleslaw. Since they were out of oysters, they substituted with extra shrimp and the hush puppies were substituted for extra coleslaw instead. The portion size was good for the price. The fish bites were a combo of snapper and grouper. I didn't know which one I had, but I preferred one over the other. I did think the seafood could have used more seasoning. We really liked the coleslaw. The food was okay, it satisfied my hunger.

We were victims to their awful cooking and mishandling food. I certainly do give good ratings for good restaurants as much as 1 star ratings for dives like yours. Plus your prices are absolutely insane if I have to leave hungry especially. My steak was overcooked and took too long to get it. 6 oz? You should call that a child's menu item with a side of mac and cheese. Just 6 miles south, The Old Fish House in Grant surpasses the food here, at a fraction of the price with the same damn river view as this uppity location. Vics is another gem in Sebastian, I've been here for 45 years, I know the area better than you. This Yellow Dog "Sample size" Cafe charges a fortune to put your life at risk with ignorant kitchen staff, how can you justify staying open? The country should shut you down! The decor manipulated their decision most likely. I'll look into it, I promise. People only go to this riverfront dive because they're pretentious, not because they expect good food and a drink. I really should have read the reviews and taken the poor 1 star as a big red flag to avoid this place. My date ordered an unrecognizable goo, and she wouldn't touch it. I wonder if we suffered these poor kitchen practices noted in your failed inspection? Thawing commercially processed Reduced Oxygen Packaging (ROP) or vacuum-sealed fish in its packaging is highly dangerous. The lack of oxygen combined with improper temperatures creates a perfect environment for Clostridium botulinum to grow and produce deadly toxins. You're charging customers to end up in the ER as a dining experience here. Look for the screenshots. Edit: added more inspection results from 2024 and 2025, you get busted every single time. This isn't a mistake, its a practice.

In homage to the adage, "misery loves company", Big boy invited the newest member of the Big Boy Dining Out Family (BBDO), Chef X. Chef is a fellow, well-known Brevard County connoisseur of local cuisine. Echoing the general sentiments of our cohorts, he asked, "how often do you run into food like this?" I answered, "It's far rarer to discover 4-or 5-star quality fare." Keisha, our server, was the one lone person who was on top of things; although, I'd argue that it's exceedingly easy to accomplish such a feat, when there is quite frankly nothing to serve. We made several attempts to order numerous menu items, but our pursuits were fruitless, our efforts in vain. I felt like a Yeth encroaching on unfamiliar territory. Nonetheless and not to be deterred, I cautiously altered course asking instead, "What Do you have?" We were presented with fried oysters, on the verge of spoilage, brown stewed chicken and curry chicken. Both: terrible. Big Boy says, "bashing a locally owned business? Yes...the food is horrendous but hey...at least they were open 30 minutes late."
