This is my second review of this restaurant. The food is and always has been on my experience, great. I looked at some of the peoples less than stellar reviews and I just don't understand it. Food is consistently excellent with great service. We brought our friends from New York tonight and it was great. They couldn't stop raving about their food. Don't listen to the bad reviews. They clearly don't understand food.

Enjoyed a cozy dinner-a-deux at Le Bistro last night! Christmas Day, the hostess at the restaurant we had planned to go to must've thought we meant Christmas EVE instead of Christmas DAY. They were closed. We were literally All Dressed Up With No Place to Go! Trusty Google saved the day! We landed at Le Bistro, French, Steakhouse, a delightful & charming spot on 4626 N Federal in LHP. They were so kind to accommodate us at the last moment... it was just lovely! Our appetizers were: a beautiful greens salad with onions, green olives, hearts of palm, radish, and tomato with a light dijon vinaigrette (he), escargot with perfect garlic butter and a mini French bread for dipping (me). Intermezzo was a light shaved mango sorbet which cleansed our palates for the entree. He: tender turkey with sage & onion dressing, tasty gravy, mashed potatoes light n' buttery, and green beans. Me: roast beef, medium rare, tasty beef gravy, bearnaise sauce on the side, burgundy truffle whipped potatoes and tiny asparagus tips. The merlot, Chevalier Alexis Lichine, vin de France, was smooth as soft velvet. So good & reasonably priced I enjoyed two generous glasses Dessert was couveture chocolate mousse (he) and vanilla creme brulee (me). And cups of the best coffee! Ambience is soft and delightfully cozy. We enjoyed a cozy half-booth in the corner. The service was impeccable & unobtrusive. I dreamed of enjoying a French Onion soup here on a chilly, blustery night. Holiday dinner is prix fixe and expensive (but SO worth it!). Wine is reasonably priced. I imagine regular dinner service would be high end, however, I believe if you'd enjoy a French Steakhouse that would be as comfortable in the South of France as it is on Federal in LHP. They're open 5-9:30 pm Mon-Thu, 5-10 pm Fri & Sat, 5-9 pm Sunday. Definitely call for reservations: 954.946.9240 It was a night to remember...

Hole in the wall family owned restaurant with great food and friendly staff! Brought my mom here for her birthday and everything was delicious! Our server was super sweet and made dinner very pleasant. We ordered from the Dine Out Lauderdale menu and each had 3 course meal. I started with the blue crab cake and it was packed with crab. The fish eggs on top and the cucumber pieces made everything refreshing. The lamb chops were very tender and juicy. The gravy sauce was amazing. The green beans and mini tomatoes were a nice compliment to the meat. My creme brulee was the perfect sweet end to my courses. My mom's escargot was garlicky and delicious. Lots of garlic butter to dip the bread in. The fish of the day was Atlantic cod and it was pan fried with capers. It was light and my mom really enjoyed it. The mango sorbet cake dessert was also very light but a bit on the sweet side. It's came beautifully displayed in a martini glass. Will definitely be back for more amazing French cuisine.

One of the best meals my brother and I have EVER had! Chilean sea bass melted in my mouth and was surrounded by delicious fresh vegetables. My brother had a rack of lamb that was perfectly juicy and tender. The chocolate torte dessert was very rich and the strawberries tasted ripe. Not hard to see why this has been of the few successful Kitchen Nightmares restaurants. Elin was a friendly and attentive hostess/server. Andy also wished us well. The cozy yet elegant atmosphere was very calming after a stressful day. Cannot recommend this place enough!

We had a lovely dinner here for my birthday in this small restaurant in lighthouse point. It is located on the east side of federal highway/US 1 in the same shopping strip as papas raw bar, so the spaces fill up fast. Luckily, we'd read on their website before coming that they have spaces set aside with traffic cones. As directed, we removed one of the cones and pulled into one of their reserved parking spaces right in front of the restaurant. We've been dining early to avoid any crowds, and here, too, we started out as the first table occupied inside. It is not a fancy decorated venue, but was comfortable. We had very attentive and pleasant service throughout even after a few other parties arrived. We skipped a salad or appetizer to save room for dessert. My husband was happy to start with a glass of a favorite wine by Kim Crawford, however. I ordered their breast of duck entree. The duck was perfectly cooked as ordered, sliced and presented as a tower atop a potato hash. The "hash" was seasoned cubed potatoes mixed in with green beans. All was on top of a light cassis based sauce. There were blueberries around the edge of the plate (in keeping with the berry cassis) and very thin slices of candied orange peel. As the sauce was not sweet, I wound up pairing a sliver of orange peel with each piece of tender duck. My husband had their steak frites special. The small steak was flavorful, cooked also as ordered, with a peppercorn sauce on the side that gave it a bit of personality. It came with a basket of crispy hand cut steak fries. For dessert, we shared their apple tart with vanilla ice cream. We asked for the ice cream to be served on the side -- it is usually served on top of the warm tart. It was a nice surprise to have a birthday candle in the ice cream! And she was nice enough to take our "official" photo -- which we do every year. The tart was an airy puffy base topped with thick sliced apples, cinnamon, and powdered sugar. The vanilla ice cream was a rich pairing. A tasty dinner here was the perfect setting for a low key birthday celebration.

What a great place! Came to dinner here with my husband and my 19 month old. We loved it!! We loved the ambiance, the jazz music, the lighting and the feel of the restaurant. It's the type of place you can really enjoy a glass of wine and feel super cozy in. It's very intimate and overall had a great vibe. The food was also amazing! We had crab cake, risotto (best I've ever had!) and the beef Wellington!! everything was so delicious! They even gave us a complimentary frozen mango dessert! We are coming back for sure! Highly recommend it! You will love it!

If you want culinary mastery Le Bistro is the place for you! I was a line cook for 8/9 years. So I know a thing or two about food production. Andy prepared the most delectable beef Wellington and Duck breast. So good. And his pallet cleansers were so good, the crème brûlée was amazing. Like seriously. And Elin was such a doll. 10/10. One of the best dining experiences in south Florida. Sorry for my ugly photos. I was dying to eat

I went there for the Holidays. The owner was most unfriendly. The portions were small, and the food was tasteless. I won't go back.

In addition, the reservation I made for 6pm wasn't necessary as the restaurant was void of diners and mostly stayed that way. The waiter/host was very cordial. The interior of the restaurant remains the same, which is a positive. Our waiter remained attentive and available when needed. As for our meal, it wasn't completely up to par. Two fillet mignons were more rare than ordered; the mashed potatoes had a strange taste, which could have been the seasonings; the pastries were dry and the Tiramisu wasn't Tiramisu. Another disappointment was no employee spoke French, however, the interior remains lovely.

Tradition French Restaurant. Oui, oui!…read more My foodie friends--this is worth your time. From the moment you step into Tradition Restaurant (not to be confused with the kosher spot), you feel it: warmth, elegance, and an inviting French charm. Tucked into an unassuming location at 626 Federal Hwy in Deerfield Beach, this place quietly delivers on every level. The room is effortlessly elegant--white tablecloths, a single red rose, softly glowing table lamps, and modern wood slat walls creating a refined yet relaxed ambiance. Owners Chef Eric Heintz and his wife Anaïs have crafted a truly authentic French dining experience. Eric runs a beautifully orchestrated, high-level kitchen, while Anaïs manages the front of house with grace--engaging guests and seamlessly supporting service. Seventh-generation French culinary heritage, rooted in Northern France, shines through in both skill and soul. This is fine dining without pretense--deliberate, refined, and perfectly paced. Now... the food. Every dish was stellar. We began with appetizers: The Goat Cheese Salad--a seared goat cheese ball presented like art, surrounded by vibrant chive dressing--was as beautiful as it was delicious. The Soupe à l'Oignon Gratinée rivaled the best, crowned with perfectly roasted Gruyère. And the Escargots de Bourgogne--wild-caught, swimming in parsley, garlic, and butter--were exceptional. Sweet, tender, and begging for bread to soak up that green garlic sauce . Then came the mains--and wow. The Half Crispy Duck à l'Orange was spot-on: crispy skin, moist breast, subtle sweetness, paired with fresh vegetables and a comforting potato gratin. The Dover Sole Meunière, deboned tableside, was delicate and elegant, enhanced by a light champagne sauce and some of the creamiest mashed potatoes I've ever had. The Slow-Cooked Beef Short Rib Bourguignon was rich and hearty--bacon, onions, mushrooms, and deep, soulful flavor in every bite ‍. My Florida Yellowtail Snapper with champagne sauce was a standout, topped with crispy taro root for texture, served alongside ratatouille and decorative taro chips--simply magnificent. And yes--we shared the Pommes Frites Maison: hot, crisp, and irresistible. Despite being full, dessert was non-negotiable. The Profiteroles (my favorite) were light, buttery, and filled with sweet cream, finished with warm chocolate fudge. The Handmade Apple Tart was flaky, buttery, gently sweet with just the right touch of tartness. Have I piqued your interest? I hope so--because this is a winner. Yes, it's a splurge, but absolutely worth it. Celebrate something special at Tradition and see for yourself. Easily one of the best meals we've had since arriving. Bon appetite! We met the owner Lisa and she was so nice! We're dairy-free and we asked which lattes can be made dairy-free (no cow's milk) and she said anything on the menu can be made with oat or almond milk. Even a cold foam she can make with dairy-free milk. I was so surprised by that since most other places have significantly less options when going dairy-free, like cold foam can typically only be made with heavy cream at other cafes. She said she makes everything herself so she can customize it however we want. I was so impressed with that! We went with an iced Mocha Lisa which has white chocolate and pistachio. This is a specialty latte named after the owner herself as it's some of her favorite flavors. We got it with oat milk. There are three sizes, the larger size comes with 3 shots of espresso while the other two have 2 shots. Also appreciate that as at most other coffee shops, a larger size typically just means more milk but the same amount of espresso. The presentation of the drink was stunning, she topped it with crushed pistachios. It was so delicious! They have so many other delicious-sounding lattes on their menu, I was eyeing their honey cinnamon latte, whipped brown sugar latte, or their seasonal blueberry muffin matcha. Such unique flavors! I wish I was in town longer so I could come here daily to try all of them. I also got some chocolate covered pistachio-filled dates that I'm so excited to try. Yum!
