When our old company worked @ this location - my coworkers and I ate at Le Cafe at least 2-3 meals a week, sometimes doubling up for dinner whenever a project overtook us. It's the rare situation where despite the wonderful food options available in the nearby vicinity (walking distance as well), the quality and variety and convenience of Le Cafe was too much to pass up. The owner, Kev, and the staff are really friendly and have been at this location for at least 7+ years; they take time to get to know the regular faces. As far as food goes, I highly recommend the Chipotle Wrap (extra chipotle on the side), Turkey Panini, Tuna Melt +bacon, avocado and tomato, the Southwest Spicy Chicken salad, and the Broccoli soup. That said... when branching out for kicks, we rarely tried anything that wasn't well done. And the price is right too. It's sadly packed away in a corner that means few and fewer will ever realize this true gem of a varietal breakfast/lunch restaurant exists - but if you do find yourself in the area, it's worth trying. The paninis here are SO great! The staff is super friendly and helpful. It's a tiny place and hidden away on the side of the building. I believe it was meant as a convenient stop for employees in the nearby buildings. My only complaint is that the café closes at 3P everyday. Why?! Great value. Tasty product. Quick in and out, kind of. Gets 3 stars because no less than 5 times this month after finding parking and going out of our way to taste their delicious little breakfast burritos and yummy ice blended mochas and hot chai tea latte we were notified there would be at least a 20 minute wait. For obvious reasons, I think the company is catering more often and not increasing cook staff thereby throwing off the quick part not knowing how long it would take to eat. Got frustrated on more than one occasion and walked out. Other time opted to wait and only took 15 minutes, but another time took 35 minutes. If in a hurry and want a quick good bite best to call and see if they're catering that day. Used to be they would only cater and Friday's but I've gone on days other than Friday and been unhappily relayed the bad news. read more

This place is one of those tiny hole in the wall best kept secretes. It's tucked away in rather large business office and the only way I found it was by searching Yelp for "breakfast" in "Costa Mesa." Probably one of the best breakfast burritos I have ever had. The egg was cooked omelet style and fits perfectly into the tortilla so that equal amounts of carne asada, egg, salsa and cheese are distributed in each bite. The cafe is located across from the parking structure on the first floor. The omelets are delicious. And they come with hash browns and toast. They have the best hash browns that I've ever had. We were looking for a casual lunch place and found this on Yelp. What a great find! It's located right near the Hilton Hotel and in a corporate building. My hubby ordered their special 3 tacos with rice and beans, as well as their soup of the day, chicken lemon. I ordered the Cobb salad, and we ordered our son a fruit bowl. Everything was delicious! I wished I worked in this building cuz I would come here everyday. Their soup is homemade and oh so yummy! They have everything, including snacks and ice cream bars too. This is a good place for breakfast. It's located in the office building next to the Hilton hotel. You have to walk around the corner to get to the door. Food is exceptionally cheap. I got the breakfast burrito which was about $4, and although its not one of the best i've had, it is certainly fresh and made well! and its only $4 haha.
