Daily special on 7/11- fettuccine Alfredo side salad and bread $12
Cathy P.

Absolutely fell in love with the first bite! I work hybrid at the canvas offices and have been wanting to try Le Cafe. I finally made my way over during lunch on Thursday, and let me tell you it was the perfect day. A gloomy July? Perfect for sitting outside for lunch. I was intimidated with the line of 4 people ahead of me, thinking I should've ordered ahead of time. But if I did I wouldn't have known the special for the day was fettuccine Alfredo w side salad and bread for $12! I asked for side of sundried tomatoes and he was even nice enough to ask cold or grilled? So glad I chose this place, food was fantastic, wait was less than 5 minutes and service was great! Can't wait to come back and try the breakfast burritos!

Chorizo Burrito and a Cappuccino with Cinnamon
Mitchell N.

On a cold and gloomy morning, under a return-to-office regime, Le Café made the trip to the office worthwhile. Angels descended upon me and sang an immaculate chorus as I took my first bite from my Chorizo Burrito and sip of cappuccino (i.e., it was really good). I'm glad I stumbled upon this spot. Food and coffee and service are all top notch and I love the effort they put into the hand drawn menu. Huge variety of sandwiches, salads, burgers, and breakfast items. They also have a snack bar for a quick grab-and-go. I don't love coming to the office, but I'll do it for the burrito!

I've been craving a breakfast burrito for awhile.. I ordered the Regular breakfast burrito it was really good!

This is a small, cozy cafe located inside a medical building. They have a nice selection of food items, & it's always fresh & tasty.

Loving the Double Pistachio Latte series!…read more Picture rich pistachio paste at the bottom, smooth coffee or grassy matcha in the middle, and then a creamy pistachio foam on top, finished with a line of crushed pistachios for extra texture. Every sip hits a little different depending on how you mix it, and it stays balanced the whole time. Nutty, creamy, sweet, and ultra satisfying. Between the two, I like the coffee version more, but you really can't go wrong with either! The ambiance here is just as good as the drinks. It's super spacious with lots of seating, and has an edgy, industrial aesthetic. This is a solid spot to catch up with friends or to just sit and sip. Also shoutout to the cashiers and baristas for being super friendly and relaxed. Definitely one of my regular stops now :)

There's also a restroom on-site and ample parking in the plaza, which is always a plus! The space itself is beautiful, modern and contemporary with subtle wabi-sabi touches with pop of colors. The baristas were friendly, and I appreciated the variety of matcha offerings on the menu. I ordered the Double Pistachio Matcha, which was incredibly creamy and had a rich, authentic pistachio flavor. While I enjoyed the nuttiness, the cream was a bit too heavy for my personal preference so I couldn't taste the matcha as much. I also tried my friend's Einspänner, which was absolutely delicious and something I'd definitely come back for. Another friend ordered the Hojicha Latte, and it had a perfect balance of roasted tea flavor and sweetness. My only downside was that it was quite warm inside during our May visit. The AC didn't seem to be running, which made it uncomfortable to stay for an extended study session or hangout. Hopefully that's something they address as Orange County approaches the hotter summer months. Overall, I'm excited to return and work my way through more of their drink menu. The atmosphere, drinks, and friendly service made for a great first visit.

Hands down some of the best coffee in OC. If you don't like sweet, don't get a drink with flavoring. Or ask them to adjust. Simple! If you want something yummy and different, try their seasonal menu. My favorite part was the pickled onions. I'd definitely get it again. And the *breakfast burrito* is okay. Nothing outstanding - they did tell us they get them made a day before and they warm up upon order.

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! It's right next to colorful barrel fountains, and on a sunny day it honestly felt like the perfect coffee outing. The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte. The parking however, was VERY filled during this time. The line was huge for a 11:00am on a Friday morning. We were bummed that the QR code was not working on the very cute wooden signage outside the coffee shop while we were in line, which was a bummer. The Honey Oat Latte with oat milk was delicious. I am notorious for chugging my iced coffee but this was absolutely delicious. A sweet, subtle honey sweetness taste and the creamy oat milk was divine. My manager's Spanish Latte was so much better & I will be getting that next time! We bought our other coworker the Strawberry Matcha, which we did not try & we were worried after the fact because it did not look like it had strawberries in it, but she confirmed it was very tasty and tasted the strawberry! The outside seating areas in this outdoor area was very cute. Lots of fun art, the directory was creative, the CD tunnel was the coolest part! We also walked over to the breakfast burrito place as well. This seems like a nice area to come and relax and just people watch and enjoy a delicious iced latte from Nook.

There is limited parking but the lot was mostly empty when I visited at 8am on a weekday. I was greeted with a smile upon entry and I got in a line of about 8 people. The line would whittle down rather quickly but then would go right back up to about 8, back & forth, during the entire time I was there. Only 2 gals were working but they were like a machine, taking orders and cranking out drinks in a perfectly synchronized barista ballet. I ordered a large hot Spanish latte and chose a chocolate croissant from the pastry case. I declined having the pastry warmed as the chocolate gets melty and gooey-messy all over my hands. She informed me that the latte would have 4 shots of espresso unless I wished otherwise, but I was ready for a good case of coffee jitters. The interior is very small with 6 two-tops crammed together and a window counter with 5 or so chairs. I sat at a table. The latte was perfectly made, served at immediate drinking temperature, with a great quality coffee and a cinnamon flavor that was exactly the right strength. The croissant was fresh with plenty of chocolate inside. By the time I finished it, I looked like a three-year-old; my lips were smeared with chocolate. This was an excellent pastry. I stopped by because I was already in the area and wanted to check out a newer spot. They're approaching their one-year anniversary, so they're still fairly new. When I visited, there was a decent line, and the café was quite busy. There isn't dedicated parking, so you'll likely need to find street parking in the surrounding neighborhood and walk over. There is plenty of outdoor seating available, along with a smaller indoor seating area. I ordered the Guava Range from the seasonal menu, which is described as a guava matcha latte topped with mascarpone cream, guava purée, and ceremonial-grade matcha. I was especially excited to try it because guava matcha isn't something you come across often. Unfortunately, my drink didn't quite match the description. If there was guava purée included, I couldn't see or taste it. The only guava element I noticed was a light dusting on top of the cream. The mascarpone cream also overpowered the matcha, making it difficult to taste. Overall, the drink came across more like very lightly flavored milk than a guava matcha latte. For a drink that cost around $9-10, I was hoping for more balance and a stronger presence of the advertised flavors. That said, they're still a relatively new business, and growing pains are understandable. I didn't have time to stay and try any food, but everything coming out of the kitchen smelled great. Since it was busy, I also don't feel I can fairly comment on the service based on this visit alone. I'd be willing to come back and give them another try in the future, as I can see the potential and hope some of the smaller details get refined over time.
