We passed by Le Cafe Du Val during a drive in Henderson and thought a lovely lunch here would be a nice experience. We learned they also have a sister restaurant - Le Cafe du Sud in Southern Highlands. This is a counter service establishment - you get in line to order and pay and get our number and find a seat. There is a lot of menu items and ready made pastries so your eyes will have to move quickly to decide on your final order. There are plenty of seats indoors and out, so that shouldn't be too much of an issue. And water is self service as well. * Raclette Galette $15.99 - This gluten-free buckwheat crepe is served with raclette cheese, sunny side up egg, potatoes, bacon and ham. I love a buckwheat crepe and there's actually a place in town that I just love their version. At Le Cafe Du Val, they do prefer to cook theirs a little more on the softer side which I didn't realize. After a bite or two, I went and asked if this was typically how their galette is cooked. It was confirmed that yes, they do prefer it softer. They offered to remake mine which I initially declined but they insisted as they wanted me to be happy with it. So I agreed. I still found their version decent, but not exceptional. * Short Ribs Shakshouka $17.99 - This was on their Specials menu and was served with 7 pieces of baguette slices. It was good. * Melba Crepe $13.99 - It's a sweet crepe that's topped with poached peach, wild berry sauce, and whipped cream. It's simple and exactly as described. * Mini Lobster Rolls $18.99 - The lobster meat is mixed with celery, chives, and mayo and served on a butter toasted brioche buns. These are indeed mini rolls, so you may be hungry after eating them. Service - there really isn't too much to talk about as you order at the register and have minimal contact with the staff beyond them bringing the order to your table. I had to bring my plate to the staff member when I had the issue. I do appreciate their desire to fix my order though. Overall, Le Cafe du Val was just an okay experience for us. The food didn't stand out for us in the way that we hoped.
The food, the service and the ambiance is all there. I love coffee shops and this became one of my faves. If I lived closer, I'd def come by more often. The food was so delicious and it came by quickly and the coffee was amazing. The pastries and the dessert, ofc was good too! My toddler ate all of his chocolate croissant. Def recommend the avocado toast! They also have sugar free options.
Came on a Tuesday morning and they were relatively busy. Great spot for people to get coffee and catch up, or get some work done as well. The interior design is open seating, has plenty of natural light, and has a bright design. Very welcoming and a nice spot to spend a few hours! Although the food is not bad, my only gripe is that the spot is pretty expensive for small portions. Almond Croissant (7/10, $7) - It has a fantastic almond crunch paste on the inside that was not too sweet, but very filling. - The croissant was nicely toasted. Prosciutto Sandwich (6/10, $16) - The sandwich comes with a small side salad that was pretty bland. Just some vegetables and some dressing that tasted a little sour. - The bread was delicious, the prosciutto is tasty, and their cheese blends everything together well. - The reason for the 6/10 and overall 3-star review is because of portion sizes and price. At $16, I would expect a side of potatoes. Friends got their eggs Benedict, and at a similar price point, it came only with the Benedict and no sides. Overall, a nice, cute spot with plenty of seating and parking and good coffee. Expect for things to be expensive and portion sizes to be small, hence the lower star review.
Visited Le Cafe Du Val for the first time! It's a French-inspired cafe with both savory and sweet options to choose from. The decor inside is charming, and the set-up is pretty casual - you order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. We came on a weekday morning and the service was quick. Good amount of indoor seating, and plenty of parking in the square. We were interested in the short rib shakshouka, but unfortunately they were out when we visited! Decided to go for a prosciutto sandwich instead, along with a latte and almond croissant. Prosciutto Sandwich ($15.99, 4.5/5) - Big fan of the bread they use here! - Flavors were light and fresh - Good portion size for the price Latte ($5.99, 5/5) - Solid latte, paired well with the almond croissant. Almond croissant ($6.25, 4.5/5) - Nice crunch on the outside, topped with almond slices - Almond filling with just the right consistency. A little on the sweeter side, but worked out well with our coffee to balance it out. Overall, had a great time at Cafe Du Val and would definitely come back again to try other items on the menu!
This place is a GEM! Everything looks BEAUTIFUL and tastes AMAZING. Freshly baked goods, delicious coffee, cute ambiance, friendly service. We stumbled upon this cafe on our way home from church (we are new to the area). We'll be back every Sunday now. Simply the best!
We have heard so much about this Henderson gem that we wanted to give it a try on Easter. The place is cute with plenty of inside and outside seating and even a wine bar. The staff were plentiful and very customer oriented. The coffee was amazing and the place smelled incredible. You are forced to walk by all the sweet and savory delights to get to the order point. I think I walked so slow gazing the person behind me asked to jump the line. We ordered and paid at the register and they delivered the order as it was ready. We both thoroughly enjoyed both of our meals and I got to enjoy some of Danielle's too! . Definitely going to put this on the "show this place off to visitors" list!
Came with friends for a special birthday brunch. Such a sweet lil place. Spacier than I thought. The service was friendly and attentive. It's nice to be greeted with a smile. We had avocado toast, raspberry rhubarb delight and Nutella crepes. Just what you want it to taste like. The lattes were spot on. We will definitely return
This place is always busy, clean and yummy! When Hubby and I want good food that is not heavy or a snack we come here! We are in love with their Chicken Sandwich by the way! Everyone there is always busy yet so friendly. We love coming here!

Went to Le Cafe Du Val for a random weekday brunch with my parents. I've checked in here on Yelp before but I somehow missed out on writing a review for them. This was our last opportunity to sit outside before it starts cooling down later this week and into next week. The parking lot was packed to the brim, but I found a space a little further down the complex and walked over. My parents had arrived before me, found a nice table outside on the patio (lucky for us because it was so busy) and waited to take their order before I arrived. My dad and I walked inside to place our order. Obviously, this is a cafe, so I had to have a cup of coffee. I ordered a cappuccino with a lavender flavor inside...for some reason I think lavender goes quite well with coffee. I almost went with the vanilla, but when I saw lavender on the flavor menu, I went with that instead. Both my parents got a latte...all three of them had that sweet, foamy top on it, with the lattes featuring that awesome foam art. For food, I ordered a tuna melt and my dad ordered a quiche, both came with salad greens on the side. My mom does not eat a whole lot of calories during most hours of the day, so she ordered a crepe with pretty much nothing on it. When she got it, it was unrolled and it looked exactly like a slice of pizza with no sauce and toppings on it, which I thought was funny. My dad's quiche had spinach inside and my tuna melt came with cheese and other various veggies. Everything here was amazing, including the coffee. Highly recommend this place! It's nice to have a French cafe in the neighborhood with great food and great coffee.
2nd chances We meet again. My first experience a few years ago didn't bring me back. Hopefully the do over is better. Smoky, contemporary elegant with chandeliers. No greeting for me nor the 5 people entering after. Once finally acknowledged by 1/3 people the process was expeditious. Later in the day, 12, I was sent to find cheery yogurt danishes....all gone. A very popular item, but yummy looking alternatives. Beignets(fruit, Nutella filled) and cheesecake should suffice. The cheese cake for me wasn't praiseworthy but the beignets were good.
Mother's Day brunch at Le Cafe du Val was absolutely worth the wait. We arrived to a line out the door with at least 25 people waiting and a completely full dining room, which honestly told us everything we needed to know before we even sat down. We ordered two cappuccinos, a mocha, two Berries crepes, and the Short Rib Sandwich. The cappuccinos were perfectly balanced with rich espresso and silky foam, while the mocha was smooth, chocolatey, and not overly sweet. The Berries crepes were incredible -- topped with fresh berries, wild berry sauce, and whipped cream, light yet indulgent at the same time. The Short Rib Sandwich completely stole the show: tender braised short rib with Gruyère cheese, Dijon mayo, and arugula tossed in citrus sauce on warm ciabatta. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Even with the Mother's Day rush, the atmosphere still felt warm and charming, like a little French café tucked away in Henderson. You could tell the staff was hustling nonstop, but the food and experience never suffered. This place lives up to the hype and then some. We'll definitely be back.

So happy this cafe has expanded and has more seating now!! Last time I tried to come here it was insanely packed with a line out the door, and no tables anywhere in or out. One of the best breakfast place tucked away in Henderson. The food is always excellent. The fact that they only use butter and olive oil is the main reason why we go to this place. More and more restaurants should get rid of the inflammatory seed oils. read more

Was in a hurry to come here to try the best hot chocolate ever .... mmmm sadly my cocoa is warm almost room temp. Didn't bother to say anything . I use to come fete when it was smaller . The expansion is great but I think still needs more servers. The food you can never go wrong for sure.but also when I ask for water . The drinking fountain is directly right by the restroom. I had to get a bottle of water . Hey that's just me. Please still visit this place, not a big deal. Just letting you know the good and the bad :) aloha ! read more
Well where to begin? Wonderful place to visit on a Saturday morning for sure! Came here with the family on our way to Hoover dam. We always tend to order multiple plates as to try more than one item. It's definitely delicious. The croque monsieur was enjoyed by everyone one! Warm,crispy,gooey, the right ratios of bechamel, melted cheese, and ham! The cheese danish while good for me the bread was just a tad hard. But flavor wise was on point. The burrata caprese sandwich was oh so sublime! While the chicken Dijon sandwich was grilled perfectly. The breast was moist, and the sauce flavorful. The Nutella beignet while fluffy and good left a lot to be desired. We expected them to taste more like actual beignets. Still good though nonetheless. We also ordered two drinks one iced spiced chai latte and iced caramel latte. Both were scrumptious! At this point reader you may be asking yourself, would you return though? And the answer is...most definitely so! Great spot, good food, and good vibes all around. Every time I have been here, the service has been great! They are friendly and fast, and even when the line is longer at the counter, the place is beautiful, so I don't mind the wait, lol! I hope to do an updated review in the future after I actually have a sit down order; I've only had take out orders thus far. My husband approves of the coffee, and the croissant pastry I got here was delicious. The black tea here is also high quality. If I could change anything, it would be to add more drink options like chai or matcha. I look forward to coming here with a friend in the future! read more

Love the pastries and their breakfast offerings! We came here for a quick bite to eat before our kayaking adventure. Te coffee is nice and strong. The chai latte is pretty good but isn't on the menu. Definitely get their omelette sandwich and the crepes! I also had the avocado toast and it was a lot more substantial and filling and it also included a perfectly poached egg! Yum! The staff is attentive and courteous. I've never been to a French cafe, but it definitely feels like I'm in Paris sitting in a cafe having my morning breakfast. Definitely get some of their almond croissants for a snack later. Can't wait to come back again the next time I'm in the area. read more

They are expanding which is so exciting. The ambiance was so pretty and clean. The employees were so friendly, engaging, and welcoming. But that's just the start because the food... So tasty and light. The croissant sandwich was great but the croque madame was amazing. Not too much béchamel which can be annoying. The egg was cooked perfectly. Even the salad was perfectly dressed. I can't wait to go back. Now we just need one up north. read more

This is the second time I've been here and they did not disappoint. I ordered an iced lavender latte and it was quick to be made even with the long line of people waiting. I've been a fan of this place since Lake Las Vegas and took a few years to come to the Henderson location. My fave dish still tastes exactly the same as I remember. The smoked salmon toast with lox and egg on top is super legit. I wish they had ONE MORE piece because it is SO good and then, 4 bites later, it's all gone. Smoked salmon toast- 5/5 stars. Do it! Almond croissant- 5/5 stars. It's one of the best I've ever had. Nutella crepe- 2/5 stars. It was cold and it did not taste good at all. Imma skip. Service - I don't know the details but a family sitting next to us were not happy about something they had ordered. It was just painful and awkward to watch the owner talk to them like they were the biggest idiots ever for saying anything. She ended up exchanging it, but dang. Def will be back for that smoked salmon toast!!!! read more

Found Le Cafe Du Val on Yelp on a whim so I could take my mom out for a birthday breakfast. Unfortunately LCDV didn't live up to the hype and both my mom and I were pretty disappointed in the service and food. I ordered the avocado toast with egg for $14 and it was not fresh as I had expected and this is a pretty big deal, especially if your going to charge such steep prices. This simple avocado toast should have been green-- (fresh green) not brownish. They also drizzled an enormous amount of weird dressing on there with loads of feta and there were no other veggies to accompany those ingredients-- such as cherry tomatoes? Anywho, it tasted very bland, unappetizing and was not fresh. My mom ordered the ham & cheese croissant but it never came and when I checked the receipt, I realized they never put it in. I got back in line and reordered it and somehow they gave me the wrong sandwich. My mom and I were so hungry at that point that we didn't bother complaining and just ate our food but it wasn't very enjoyable. Our visit here didn't go exactly as we had hoped and at this point not really sure if I'd come back. I'd say for now that Cafe Du Val isn't a 5 star gem as it appears on Yelp and sadly I can not recommend them. read more

I had just watched "Emily in Paris" and was having withdrawals from France, so I was determined to find a great French cafe in Vegas, and I found it! Cafe Du Val screamed "Parisian" as soon as we parked the car. Outside had a few tables of people enjoying their meals with coffee while inside had ample amount of seating as well as a beautiful peacock mural on the walls and bright crystal chandeliers. On the countertops behind glass, several pastries were displayed and on the walls was the menu with descriptions. The menu has so much to choose from: sandwiches, gallete (savory) crepes, sweet crepes, breakfast items, salads, wines, and coffee. My friend and I ordered the croque monsier, a Nutella strawberry crepe, and the La champagnarde gallete. Our favorite was the croque monsier. The cheese was very rich and the bread was crispy on the edges. Just the way I like it. The la champagnarde crepe was good as well, however we both agreed that we liked sweet crepes much more and didn't prefer the buckwheat crepe. The strawberry Nutella crepe is served open faced, so we were a little disappointed there wasn't any filling, but this shouldn't deter anyone from trying it. I would definitely get it again! Anyways, this hit the spot and I'm glad I got the French fix I was looking for. Definitely coming back soon! read more
Yum! Came here while visiting my MIL and really enjoyed the food - super cute spot with both indoor and outdoor tables. You wait in line to order and then choose your own table. Food comes out pretty quick and there are all these pretty pastries to stare at and drool over while you wait. The best thing we tried was the croque madam - def recommend! True to Las Vegas nature, this hidden gem is located in a large plaza that you may not expected to be highly curated, well run and with decadent pastries, beverages and bites! What we ordered: Croissant sandwich - egg, flakey croissant that was buttery and delicious Avocado toast - beautiful in its composition and color and taste! Nutella strawberry crepe - nice touch to finish off with. Sweet, thin and simple. I would come back again for pastries! It was a wonderful morning brunch to treat a friend for her birthday. What a great little French cafe. We arrived around 12:30 and they were extremely busy, there wasn't an empty table inside or on the patio! There were only a few people in line in front of us but it gave us time to look the menu over. Galette's, crepes, sandwiches & paninis, salads, breakfast items, and Authentic French pastries baked all day! We decided on the Turkey melt panini : Turkey, Swiss cheese, caramelized onions on ciabatta with mayo. The sandwich was crispy, melty and delicious. We also had a cup of coffee and an apple turnover. The turnover was in a nice flaky pastry with a good amount of apple filling. The atmosphere and decor was clean and chic with glass chandeliers above the counter and tables. I'd been searching for a crepe place, and I found it. This lovely little cafe has an assortment of sweet as well as savory crepes. They also offer a variety of pastries, breads, sandwiches, and snacks. Pair your crepe with a coffee, soda, or sparkling water. The staff was nice and my crepe was hand made fresh when I ordered it. The aroma filled the entire restaurant. They offer about 10 indoor tables which eat seat 2 people as well as outdoor seating for slightly larger parties. Some of the tables inside can be put together for parties of 4. I will definitely be back to try their other vegetarian friendly meals. read more
Landed in Vegas early this morning and decided to stop into Le Cafe Du Val as it's close to my next meeting. I heard great things about the pastries but never tried myself. I had the Croissant Egg Sandwich and instantly had to post about it. Swiss cheese omelette with tomato and a subtle basil sauce. Added ham on the recommendation of the gentleman taking my order, all on a fresh baked croissant with a side of mixed greens in a lite citrus vinaigrette. Quite possibly one of the top 5 breakfast sandwiches I've ever had! I'll be back, great job. read more
Cute restaurant in a good location. Although I wish they had more seating, I still love the place. If you're looking for a cute but delicious Frenc bakery/breakfast spot in Henderson, this place is it. I love their croissant and their prosciutto baguette sandwich, but I most especially love their duck prosciutto crepe (la canard). Their crepes are all gluten free so that's a plus! You order then your food and drink are brought out to you. Your food comes out fairly quickly and everyone is so kind. I love this place. My boyfriend and I come all the way from Henderson to eat here. Please open one in Summerlin! read more

We've been wanting to try Le Cafe du Val for quite some time now, but sadly haven't for months since we live on the other side of town. But after spending a few hours here today with some good friends enjoying a Sunday afternoon champagne and caviar brunch, it was our lost for not making the trip sooner. Everything we had was absolutely delicious! From the champagne and caviar, to the eggs and crab Benedict, to the croissant sandwiches and pastries, you cannot go wrong with anything here. Located on Horizon Ridge in Henderson, LC du Val is very quaint and offers an amazing French themed dining experience. Very busy for obvious reasons, but we'll worth the wait if you must. So if you live in the area or find yourself visiting, you must come and see for yourself since the co-owner is a Michelin star rated chef, and say hi to his wife and co-owner, Carmen, who was very delightful and elegant. The service was on par all around to go with the outstanding food, but one particular gentleman stood out. Hayden was by far the super star of our service today. He was attentive, charismatic, and beyond professional. I recommend you ask for him when you're here, and he won't disappoint. Bon appetite Mes Amis! read more

The raspberry pistachio tart was DELICIOUS! So creamy so light and rich i will definitely order it again. The avocado toast was good and tangy. The eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly and the Brie was gooey. It was very charming and cute and the staff was very nice. read more
Went for brunch one weekday and couldn't have been happier. When we arrived there was a small line and a few tables left. My wife grabbed the table and I ordered. A nice variety of stuff , from crepes to sandwiches there's plenty of choices. The staff was great and the place was clean. I heard they are expanding so seating won't be a problem in the future. The French dip was awesome and I look forward to going back and trying something else. read more

Came here for the first time on a Thursday at 9am. It was not super busy from what I've heard. No line, but most tables were full of people. The menu is a bit overwhelming if you haven't been before or didn't look up the menu before going. My dad ordered a crepe from their recommendation. I tried a bite or two and it was very good like a dessert. I just asked for the croissant Jambon which was just a ham and cheese croissant. It was good, but the sauce on it was too heavy. It would have been better with a slight drizzle. The sandwich was also like warm. Like they tried to heat it up but the middle was still colder. Is this how they eat their breakfast sandwiches in France? Maybe so, I've never been, but still rather it be a warm ham and cheese sandwich especially for the price if $10.95. The display items looked great and would probably try again and try something else. read more
Got this tip from a friend who raved about this quaint Henderson pastry shop. Decided to try it out one morning and whoa! What a delight! Tried 3 categories of their offerings: Crepes: La Fruit Rouges, Sandwiches: The Chicken, and Pastries: Chocolate Éclair. Henderson may not be Paris, but the food sent me back there. I've not tasted Eclairs this good since visiting France. The sandwich was well presented and tasty. The crepe just divine. The shop had a comfortable ambience with sufficient seating and a subdued noise level. Service was prompt and friendly and a return visit scheduled. read more
Le Cafe Du Val is located off of Horizon ridge and Amador. Near Valley cheese and wine and across the street from the Post Office. Super cute store front with a 4 or 5 sets of tables outside to sit with a little shade and a quaint interior with seating as well. We entered and stood in line to order. We told the female employee it was our first time there and we were checking out the menu, and she didn't go over the menu or ask us any questions. We placed our order and sat outside on the patio. Our food and drinks were served super fast and the wait staff was super friendly. The gentlemen came and checked on us a few times during our meal. Salmon toast 5/5 Crispy multigrain bread topped with smoke salmon, poached egg, pesto and white onions and capers. Quiche 4/5 Light and airy and served with a side salad. Iced Tea was nice and refreshing. Pistachio Latte Iced was good, but a little watery. Love having a new french bakery open Green Valley. Will be back to check out the pastries. read more

It's been a while since I visited here and decided to return for a brunch with some girlfriends. This really is such a cute place to grab brunch with girlfriends. Their pastries alone are so delicious, but this past time, I decided to split a couple things with my friend and we tried a few other items. It was a pretty busy Saturday and the line was rather long. But they got through it pretty quickly. I will also say that staff is on it and they help get you seated. This time around, I tried the salmon toast and this cucumber sandwich. Both of them were so incredible. The cucumber sandwich had some peppercinis that added a nice spice to the sandwich, too. It also came with a salad salad with really yummy dressing on it. The salmon toast was *chefs kiss*. I have been craving it ever since I ate here last time (might have to head back again this weekend now). It was sooo good. I also go a bellini this time around, too, which was delicious. I think they make their peach puree in-house. Their pastries are seriously so good, too. There's also lots of patio seating so while the weather is still somewhat not too warm, definitely take advantage of that! I did say this place is good for girlfriends, but I even saw Gene Simmons here, so honestly, this place is even loved by rockstars LOL! Definitely recommend! Absolutely love this cafe!!! Almond croissants are amazing !!! I used to live in Henderson, it wasn't there before or I would go everyday ! Came into town for a brief visit, really enjoyed the ambiance too! Can't wait to go again. I need to know if they ship the croissants? I'd love more! Very reasonable. I wouldn't say it's on the high side, nor is it on the low side. I think it is fair.

There is limited seating and it's a small place when it gets busy it can be loud. I'd say not really.
Do they take reservations?
Yes, they took our luncheon reservations, so it looks like they take reservations for the entire day.
Do you have any gluten free options?
No gluten free bakeries or cookies. They buy their bakeries, so no guarantee a dedicated gluten free label. And the bakery case an open counter so there's a chance of cross contamination if you are celiac's.
Are there any dairy free crepe?
Yes there is a savory dairy free buckwheat crepe!
