I hate when I feel like I've cheated on my favorite bakery and today, well....I cheated and found quite possibly a new fav bakery/coffee spot! They are serving up my absolute favorite coffee brand, La Colombe. They brew the nizza bean which is the perfect tasting medium roast! I prefer my wake-up drink in the form of an oat milk latte with simple syrup. Le Cafe has oat milk but NO simple syrup. This is a must for legit cold coffee drinkers. So hopefully they will add this to their list of flavored syrups. We settled on vanilla as traditional sugar is annoying to have to stir and stir to get the right amount in ones drink. Our drinks were perfectly prepared and we paired them with huge palmier's (elephant ear cookies made from puff pastry). They palmier's were SO good! Fresh, crispy where they should be and soft where they should be! Truly perfect as I said before. The only "negative" is that we live sooooo far away! But to those who have been wanting to try this spot, may I suggest you make the drive! It's so worth it. The service is incredible. Super friendly and accommodating. They have a huge selection of fresh prepared pastries and fresh sweet or savory crepes! Lots of other options too. I have to add, the decor is beautiful! read more

Visited Le Cafe du Val several times before writing this review, especially in light of having perfect 5 star rating on Yelp, which let's face it-is rare. Le Cafe du Val has a lot of potential but it is not a 5-star establishment, and frankly I was debating between 3 and 4 stars. Let's start with the good: cute interior, easy parking/access, original French menu. Croissants plain, almond chocolate, crapes and few select sweets. Overall menu is pretty small once crapes are excluded. But flavor is there. The criticism I can offer is service: at every visit there was something wrong with the order. Once I ordered avocado toast with salmon and got it without salmon. The other time I ordered croissant while waiting on to go order and it never showed up... Also flavored lattes are made with drip flavors which are very light, so Nutella latte will taste like a hint of chocolate for example. As a fairly new establishment I would suggest checking orders and explaining to customers details of their food choices. read more

There are so many charming little French bakery/cafes in Vegas, and yet somehow there's always room for another! Several friends have recommended Le Cafe du Lac, out at Lake Las Vegas, and while I haven't yet made it out there, the owners recently opened this new sister spot in Henderson. I went with a friend who lives in the area, and we grabbed a quiet breakfast together one of the first days they opened for dine-in service. The location is gorgeous, with a large display case and a gorgeous peacock mural. The chandeliers and table plants add an extra touch of decor that I really like, very welcoming staff and vibe here. We tried a few different menu items, but the salmon toast was my favorite- I really liked the house green sauce, add avocado if you're feeling extra. The almond croissants here are amazing too, and my lavendar latte was made just right. If I lived closer, I'd likely come by regularly. I'll be back to try the desserts! read more

This local is the second one, with the first bakery in Lake Las Vegas. Parking can be murder because the business, is incredibly busy. The cafe is nestled betwixt a pizza parlor and a dry cleaner. The demand for up front parking places it at times hazy. One has to be reminded that the cafe has hours of 7 am to 3 pm, to be able to enjoy French cuisine. As our city opens, new guidelines are coming together to keep us safer. The safety as patrons is always first here. The service from the staff here is wonderful and hands on. What do I mean about that? Issues come up and the staff handles all safety requests and issues as they arise. As I sat and waited for my food, the staff continued to clean up tables that had been used immediately as they left. The dishes and sanitizer was applied to the tables and seats as customers left. After seeing so many Yelp friends checking in here, I had to come out and try this new place. I love French cafe's anyway so it wasn't like anyone had to twist my arm or anything to get me out here. This location is easy to find and although parking can be a challenge since this strip mall is so busy, we got lucky with a spot up front! Good vibes already and I haven't even walked in the door yet! We were greeted by friendly staff and delicious looking treats in the display counters. The cafe' itself is not large and seating is limited, but a very warm and welcoming feeling along with french music playing too is what you will find. Elegant touches in the cafe' and the bathroom. People often overlook bathrooms in restaurants and sometimes they are decorated so incredibly well so I always check them out. I ordered the Croque Monsieur and my Mom tried the Greek salad. The Croque Monsieur was hot and creamy and melted in my mouth. The bread had to have just come out of the oven as it was so flavorful. We both enjoyed tea to drink. Then it was time for dessert. We ordered the La Ganache crepe and added banana to it. I think my Mom and I were in a race to see how fast we could eat it. Before we knew it, the crepe was gone! I also ordered some treats to take home for the family. I took home two chocolate twists, and a chocolate croissant. I have visited quite a few french cafe's and patisserie's around town and hands down their baked goods are by far the best I have had. So moist and soft. No dryness whatsoever. I'm a big fan of Le Cafe Du Lac in Lake Las Vegas. I was excited when I saw that the same owners were opening this cafe near me. The inside of the cafe is cute. It is spacious for a cafe, but still has a cozy feeling. The employees that helped me were enthusiastic and friendly. All of their employees were wearing masks as required for our current situation. The lovely woman that helped me gave perfect instructions for how to heat my food up at home. All of the food and pastry that I ordered were delicious! My Croque Monsieur was on perfectly toasty bread. The ham and cheese were fresh and tasty. Words can't properly express how great this sandwich tasted. The Quiche with ham was also excellent. Their almond croissant is on another level with a layer of almond paste in the center. You won't regret ordering this. The Opera Cake was the perfect little portion and had a quality chocolate flavor. My Iced Vanilla Latte was well prepared. We are so happy to have this cafe so close to our home! We can walk there and grab a cappuccino (I highly recommend the hazelnut with oat milk) and a fresh baked pastry. Let's talk salmon toast. Their's is probably the best I've ever had. They use a thick multigrain toast which gives just the right crunch and holds up the topping without getting soggy. I've never had a less-than perfectly poached egg served here. The smear they use does not over power the delicate salmon and the herb drizzle adds the freshness desired to mix with the creamy yolk. I'm not sure if they use a lot of almond extract but it tasted like there was definitely some in there. It closes super early (3pm), which is a bit challenging for a person like me that's usually stacked with meetings and video calls during the day, but that isn't their problem. I suppose most people get croissants & coffee in the morning anyway. My mom has been completely enamored with France, French pastries, and random French stuff since the first time she visited... so I flew in to LV on the night before her birthday so I could take her out. Although I made plans to take her many places, the very first thing I did is take her to Le Cafe Du Val to get chocolate croissants on the morning of her birthday. It's relatively close to our house, and she had never been there because she no longer drives. She absolutely loved Le Cafe Du Val! Le Cafe Du Val has easy parking, with a huge parking lot. There are plenty of seats inside, but they also have a really nice seating area outside, which allows you to soak up the sun and stare at cars in the parking lot. The inside of Le Cafe Du Val totally had that Parisian chic vibe, which my mom absolutely loved - from the wall coverings to the seats to the chandeliers... they were even playing Le Vie En Rose when we walked in, for crying out loud. LOL The chocolate croissants are amazing, and I bet the other pastries were really good too. Everything looked good, but I didn't get a chance to try the other stuff yet. We'll definitely be back! Love this cute little coffee shop and bakery. It's really close to us and sometimes it's packed especially if the weather is perfect to sit outside, which is a sign that it is a good place. We've had the Avocado toast and its one of the best. We've had chocolate cookies, Madeleines, cinnamon rolls, and all delicious. Nice to have a choice to get champagne drinks which We've done on a couple occasions. Great coffee drinks as well. Glad they finally added regular vanilla syrup instead of just sugar free. read more

So we walked our pup to The Doggy Lounge for a wash and cut early Saturday morning and figured we'd walk another half a block down and grab a bite at Le Cafe Su Val for breakfast. Really worked out well because we showed up before the rush. We ordered a cinnamon roll and a pan du chocolate and a couple of vanilla latte's and luckily there was still sitting available. Very nice inside and the staff was very quick and friendly. Definitely a place you should check out. I would suggest to get there early because they do fill up quickly in the mornings on the weekends. read more

This place is great. I ordered the chocolate almond croissant which was fantastic. My wife ordered the smoked sausage which was also very good. She got the lavender cappuccino that I would recommend. I got the macchiato which was good but nothing to write home about. The service was good. They were pretty busy when we arrived but I can't complain. I actually felt like they were fairly fast for how busy they were. The ambience is really nice. They have a high end feel on the inside. They have seating outside with French cafe music playing. They were a bit expensive in my opinion. Their selection of pastries is a little lacking to me. Overall, I would recommend coming here. read more

This has been on me radar of places to try. Per all the reviews, and thanks for the heads up - you order from the line and then find a table. So best to prob go with someone; one to order and one to sit! My husband and I came around 11 and most of the tables were full and a few needed cleaning off, so we just opted to get a few things to go and sit by the pool at home. He had a cappuccino; he is a coffee snob, he said the milk/foam ratio was good. I had a pistachio latte with oat milk, it tasted just like a pistachio! I believe they use a syrup over paste, but it was yummy, I did not have a complaint. I think if I had the drink there, on top of the milk/foam--(fresh pistachios would make this drink extra special). My husband had a quiche, I did not try it because I have an egg allergy; I think the review for the quiche could've been skewed because we did not have it at the restaurant, and it was about. 15 min drive back home to inspirada, so it was no longer warm. He said it was good, but not the best he's ever had. It came with a small salad, I liked the dressing. We had a strawberry eclair - yum. The both of us do not like The texture of eclairs we have had in the past, but this was soft and the cream was light and we laughed and said, we thought Paul Hollywood would like it, too. The lemon tart was yummy, topped with I believe a meringue. I believe their curd is made with eggs -- so those with an allergy cannot tolerate this like a fully baked good. I did not even think about the eggs, until after. I also ordered an almond crescent, which I think is the best almond crescent I've ever had. It was rather large, i was only able to eat half. The overall bill without the tip was, $48. We were both pleased, it is in the same strip with Valley wine and cheese, the butcher block, one bite sandwich... will definitely be back! Came here on a Tuesday morning (around 9am) and it was BUSY! I was so surprised how busy it was. Anyway, it didn't take too long to order. Oh this is one of those order get a number and find a seat kind of place - since it's pretty busy I'd suggest saving a seat before ordering to make sure you have somewhere to sit. I went with a croque madame and a hazelnut cappuccino. MMMM soo good. The croque madame was HUGE (can def share with someone) It's a sandwich with ham, cheese, some kind of sauce, toasted and topped with an egg DELISH!! It also comes with a side salad. I am surprised myself to be giving such a low rating for a place where I've seen a lot of 5 star ratings on Yelp! Pulling into the parking lot at 10am on a Sunday morning, I was optimistic as I had seen a picture of nice looking eggs Benedict on the Internet. When we entered, I was surprised to see that nobody was enforcing a mask policy on the customers and the 2 people in front of me were maskless with nobody challenging them. It was not obvious how you get seated, I had to flag down a server and ask, he said "It's first come first served but if you want to grab a table now just go ahead." Ok fine , you have to order at the counter, pay, then grab a seat. We ordered croissant jambon, cinnamon roll, chocolate almond croissant and eggs Benedict with crab, and 2 regular coffees. The girl warned me that crab meat was cold, I said that's ok but that's before realizing the crab is STONE COLD. Hand sanitizer container was completely empty, had to go back to my car to get one. By the time I returned the sweet pastries had arrived, neither were warmed up, and our 2 coffees barely filled to 3/4s of a cup full. Of course there were no refills (for plain standard filter coffee I was surprised). They only gave one creamer container for the two of us and the creamer was so cold it turned our drinks cold very quickly, this overall just made the coffee disappointing The croissant jambon came out first, again not warm, the bechamel sauce ACTUALLY SOLIDIFIED which was horrific. Salt and pepper not provided on the table, I had to ask for it. After some time passed my eggs Benedict came out, disappointing again to see a plate with so much blank space or I guess empty plate and two eggs placed unappetizingly (see photo). What was more surprising is the entire dish not just the crab meat, was cold. I forced myself to finish at least one and I felt full because the BREAD took up so much space in my stomach. I called it quits on the second one because the cold cold nature of the egg, the cold hollandaise sauce, cold avocado and cold crabmeat was just unbearable Nobody ever came up to ask if we were doing ok. Someone did come up to clear away the croissant plate and asked how it was, we felt too embarrassed to say "honestly that was awful", so we just said "Ehhhh" and I guess that was enough To top it all off, the whole thing with tax and tip was $56. I think this is incredibly overpriced and bad value for money. It left a literal "bad taste in the mouth" which I had to go to Grouchy John's to get a better cup of coffee I'm disappointed yes, overall the experience and our expectations were definitely not in line with each other, but no, I don't think I'll be back read more

My cafe mocha was great, the cheese danish was fantastic and my egg croissant sandwich was so delicious that I saved the last little bit in my silverware bag for the drive home. *drools* I have so many French cafes in California that I hit up but not any In Las Vegas that hit the quality and the weekly brunch price point so I am excited to have finally tried this gem. Two warnings... it stays busy, and it's only open til 3. There is outdoor and indoor seating so we definitely didn't have to wait for a spot. It's shaded but was definitely still warm on a summer day. Thankfully temps were good so we opted for the outdoor seating. Cróque Madame was absolutely delicious and from someone who normally likes a firm white, I was so excited that the sunny side egg came PERFECTLY soft on the white and yolk but fully cooked. The salad was tasty but I would've preferred just a bit more drizzle of dressing. Tried a Bit of the Apricot danish and croissant were heavenly and if I didn't already have a sandwich in front of me I would've splurged for pastry... maybe next time. Hibiscus tea was AMAZING and not bitter if you're someone who prefers unsweetened teas but they do offer flavor additionals. Oat milk latte was great too!
