We passed by Le Cafe Du Val during a drive in Henderson and thought a lovely lunch here would be a nice experience. We learned they also have a sister restaurant - Le Cafe du Sud in Southern Highlands. This is a counter service establishment - you get in line to order and pay and get our number and find a seat. There is a lot of menu items and ready made pastries so your eyes will have to move quickly to decide on your final order. There are plenty of seats indoors and out, so that shouldn't be too much of an issue. And water is self service as well. * Raclette Galette $15.99 - This gluten-free buckwheat crepe is served with raclette cheese, sunny side up egg, potatoes, bacon and ham. I love a buckwheat crepe and there's actually a place in town that I just love their version. At Le Cafe Du Val, they do prefer to cook theirs a little more on the softer side which I didn't realize. After a bite or two, I went and asked if this was typically how their galette is cooked. It was confirmed that yes, they do prefer it softer. They offered to remake mine which I initially declined but they insisted as they wanted me to be happy with it. So I agreed. I still found their version decent, but not exceptional. * Short Ribs Shakshouka $17.99 - This was on their Specials menu and was served with 7 pieces of baguette slices. It was good. * Melba Crepe $13.99 - It's a sweet crepe that's topped with poached peach, wild berry sauce, and whipped cream. It's simple and exactly as described. * Mini Lobster Rolls $18.99 - The lobster meat is mixed with celery, chives, and mayo and served on a butter toasted brioche buns. These are indeed mini rolls, so you may be hungry after eating them. Service - there really isn't too much to talk about as you order at the register and have minimal contact with the staff beyond them bringing the order to your table. I had to bring my plate to the staff member when I had the issue. I do appreciate their desire to fix my order though. Overall, Le Cafe du Val was just an okay experience for us. The food didn't stand out for us in the way that we hoped.
The food, the service and the ambiance is all there. I love coffee shops and this became one of my faves. If I lived closer, I'd def come by more often. The food was so delicious and it came by quickly and the coffee was amazing. The pastries and the dessert, ofc was good too! My toddler ate all of his chocolate croissant. Def recommend the avocado toast! They also have sugar free options.
Came on a Tuesday morning and they were relatively busy. Great spot for people to get coffee and catch up, or get some work done as well. The interior design is open seating, has plenty of natural light, and has a bright design. Very welcoming and a nice spot to spend a few hours! Although the food is not bad, my only gripe is that the spot is pretty expensive for small portions. Almond Croissant (7/10, $7) - It has a fantastic almond crunch paste on the inside that was not too sweet, but very filling. - The croissant was nicely toasted. Prosciutto Sandwich (6/10, $16) - The sandwich comes with a small side salad that was pretty bland. Just some vegetables and some dressing that tasted a little sour. - The bread was delicious, the prosciutto is tasty, and their cheese blends everything together well. - The reason for the 6/10 and overall 3-star review is because of portion sizes and price. At $16, I would expect a side of potatoes. Friends got their eggs Benedict, and at a similar price point, it came only with the Benedict and no sides. Overall, a nice, cute spot with plenty of seating and parking and good coffee. Expect for things to be expensive and portion sizes to be small, hence the lower star review.
Visited Le Cafe Du Val for the first time! It's a French-inspired cafe with both savory and sweet options to choose from. The decor inside is charming, and the set-up is pretty casual - you order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. We came on a weekday morning and the service was quick. Good amount of indoor seating, and plenty of parking in the square. We were interested in the short rib shakshouka, but unfortunately they were out when we visited! Decided to go for a prosciutto sandwich instead, along with a latte and almond croissant. Prosciutto Sandwich ($15.99, 4.5/5) - Big fan of the bread they use here! - Flavors were light and fresh - Good portion size for the price Latte ($5.99, 5/5) - Solid latte, paired well with the almond croissant. Almond croissant ($6.25, 4.5/5) - Nice crunch on the outside, topped with almond slices - Almond filling with just the right consistency. A little on the sweeter side, but worked out well with our coffee to balance it out. Overall, had a great time at Cafe Du Val and would definitely come back again to try other items on the menu!
This place is a GEM! Everything looks BEAUTIFUL and tastes AMAZING. Freshly baked goods, delicious coffee, cute ambiance, friendly service. We stumbled upon this cafe on our way home from church (we are new to the area). We'll be back every Sunday now. Simply the best!
We have heard so much about this Henderson gem that we wanted to give it a try on Easter. The place is cute with plenty of inside and outside seating and even a wine bar. The staff were plentiful and very customer oriented. The coffee was amazing and the place smelled incredible. You are forced to walk by all the sweet and savory delights to get to the order point. I think I walked so slow gazing the person behind me asked to jump the line. We ordered and paid at the register and they delivered the order as it was ready. We both thoroughly enjoyed both of our meals and I got to enjoy some of Danielle's too! . Definitely going to put this on the "show this place off to visitors" list!
Came with friends for a special birthday brunch. Such a sweet lil place. Spacier than I thought. The service was friendly and attentive. It's nice to be greeted with a smile. We had avocado toast, raspberry rhubarb delight and Nutella crepes. Just what you want it to taste like. The lattes were spot on. We will definitely return
This place is always busy, clean and yummy! When Hubby and I want good food that is not heavy or a snack we come here! We are in love with their Chicken Sandwich by the way! Everyone there is always busy yet so friendly. We love coming here!

Went to Le Cafe Du Val for a random weekday brunch with my parents. I've checked in here on Yelp before but I somehow missed out on writing a review for them. This was our last opportunity to sit outside before it starts cooling down later this week and into next week. The parking lot was packed to the brim, but I found a space a little further down the complex and walked over. My parents had arrived before me, found a nice table outside on the patio (lucky for us because it was so busy) and waited to take their order before I arrived. My dad and I walked inside to place our order. Obviously, this is a cafe, so I had to have a cup of coffee. I ordered a cappuccino with a lavender flavor inside...for some reason I think lavender goes quite well with coffee. I almost went with the vanilla, but when I saw lavender on the flavor menu, I went with that instead. Both my parents got a latte...all three of them had that sweet, foamy top on it, with the lattes featuring that awesome foam art. For food, I ordered a tuna melt and my dad ordered a quiche, both came with salad greens on the side. My mom does not eat a whole lot of calories during most hours of the day, so she ordered a crepe with pretty much nothing on it. When she got it, it was unrolled and it looked exactly like a slice of pizza with no sauce and toppings on it, which I thought was funny. My dad's quiche had spinach inside and my tuna melt came with cheese and other various veggies. Everything here was amazing, including the coffee. Highly recommend this place! It's nice to have a French cafe in the neighborhood with great food and great coffee.
2nd chances We meet again. My first experience a few years ago didn't bring me back. Hopefully the do over is better. Smoky, contemporary elegant with chandeliers. No greeting for me nor the 5 people entering after. Once finally acknowledged by 1/3 people the process was expeditious. Later in the day, 12, I was sent to find cheery yogurt danishes....all gone. A very popular item, but yummy looking alternatives. Beignets(fruit, Nutella filled) and cheesecake should suffice. The cheese cake for me wasn't praiseworthy but the beignets were good.
Mother's Day brunch at Le Cafe du Val was absolutely worth the wait. We arrived to a line out the door with at least 25 people waiting and a completely full dining room, which honestly told us everything we needed to know before we even sat down. We ordered two cappuccinos, a mocha, two Berries crepes, and the Short Rib Sandwich. The cappuccinos were perfectly balanced with rich espresso and silky foam, while the mocha was smooth, chocolatey, and not overly sweet. The Berries crepes were incredible -- topped with fresh berries, wild berry sauce, and whipped cream, light yet indulgent at the same time. The Short Rib Sandwich completely stole the show: tender braised short rib with Gruyère cheese, Dijon mayo, and arugula tossed in citrus sauce on warm ciabatta. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Even with the Mother's Day rush, the atmosphere still felt warm and charming, like a little French café tucked away in Henderson. You could tell the staff was hustling nonstop, but the food and experience never suffered. This place lives up to the hype and then some. We'll definitely be back.

I am surprised myself to be giving such a low rating for a place where I've seen a lot of 5 star ratings on Yelp! Pulling into the parking lot at 10am on a Sunday morning, I was optimistic as I had seen a picture of nice looking eggs Benedict on the Internet. When we entered, I was surprised to see that nobody was enforcing a mask policy on the customers and the 2 people in front of me were maskless with nobody challenging them. It was not obvious how you get seated, I had to flag down a server and ask, he said "It's first come first served but if you want to grab a table now just go ahead." Ok fine , you have to order at the counter, pay, then grab a seat. We ordered croissant jambon, cinnamon roll, chocolate almond croissant and eggs Benedict with crab, and 2 regular coffees. The girl warned me that crab meat was cold, I said that's ok but that's before realizing the crab is STONE COLD. Hand sanitizer container was completely empty, had to go back to my car to get one. By the time I returned the sweet pastries had arrived, neither were warmed up, and our 2 coffees barely filled to 3/4s of a cup full. Of course there were no refills (for plain standard filter coffee I was surprised). They only gave one creamer container for the two of us and the creamer was so cold it turned our drinks cold very quickly, this overall just made the coffee disappointing The croissant jambon came out first, again not warm, the bechamel sauce ACTUALLY SOLIDIFIED which was horrific. Salt and pepper not provided on the table, I had to ask for it. After some time passed my eggs Benedict came out, disappointing again to see a plate with so much blank space or I guess empty plate and two eggs placed unappetizingly (see photo). What was more surprising is the entire dish not just the crab meat, was cold. I forced myself to finish at least one and I felt full because the BREAD took up so much space in my stomach. I called it quits on the second one because the cold cold nature of the egg, the cold hollandaise sauce, cold avocado and cold crabmeat was just unbearable Nobody ever came up to ask if we were doing ok. Someone did come up to clear away the croissant plate and asked how it was, we felt too embarrassed to say "honestly that was awful", so we just said "Ehhhh" and I guess that was enough To top it all off, the whole thing with tax and tip was $56. I think this is incredibly overpriced and bad value for money. It left a literal "bad taste in the mouth" which I had to go to Grouchy John's to get a better cup of coffee I'm disappointed yes, overall the experience and our expectations were definitely not in line with each other, but no, I don't think I'll be back read more

I wasn't sure what to expect when I came here, honestly I wanted something chill, calm, a quick drink in a quite spot to breathe and spend time with myself before I start my shift at work. I didn't get that, the place was busy, really busy. But for good reason, they have such an amazing staff and great pastries and coffee. I came in wanting to chill but the liveliness and energy of this place left me with more energy than the coffee itself. I recommend the hazelnut latte. Just be aware that this place gets busy, busy and is more of a sit down restaurant than it is a place for you to have a quiet place to study or get a quick drink. read more

The cashier who helped me, I think her name was Kelsie, was AMAZING! She welcomed everyone in, said welcome back if they were regulars, was patient, kind and helpful, and honestly made my day. The coffee is amazing as well. I get a hot mocha and it's beautiful, hot and perfect every time. The croissants are very good as well. And their pumpkin turnover is to die for. I wish I lived closer, I'd come daily. The ambiance is adorable. I feel like I'm in Paris (I've never been so it's as close as I know it to be). Highly recommend. read more

*drools* I have so many French cafes in California that I hit up but not any In Las Vegas that hit the quality and the weekly brunch price point so I am excited to have finally tried this gem. Two warnings... it stays busy, and it's only open til 3. There is outdoor and indoor seating so we definitely didn't have to wait for a spot. It's shaded but was definitely still warm on a summer day. Thankfully temps were good so we opted for the outdoor seating. Cróque Madame was absolutely delicious and from someone who normally likes a firm white, I was so excited that the sunny side egg came PERFECTLY soft on the white and yolk but fully cooked. The salad was tasty but I would've preferred just a bit more drizzle of dressing. Tried a Bit of the Apricot danish and croissant were heavenly and if I didn't already have a sandwich in front of me I would've splurged for pastry... maybe next time. Hibiscus tea was AMAZING and not bitter if you're someone who prefers unsweetened teas but they do offer flavor additionals. Oat milk latte was great too! Next time... buckwheat dessert crepes are on the to try list! read more

Came here on a busy Sunday morning. We were lucky enough to find a table because it was packed! The food was AMAZING. Coffee and teas were good, and the whole party loved their breakfast. Of course we had to get some pastries. The cherry & yogurt danish was amazing. The lemon meringue was a bit too sweet for me but it was made well. I want to come back just to try some of the other pastries! Despite it being busy, the service was fast, and the food came in a pretty reasonable time. Definitely recommend coming here early or on a weekday. read more

Ok, so I'm adding this Cafe to my list of meetup places for my clients. Everyone comes here, from young kids to parents with their little ones and elderly friends hanging out. That said, the noise volume can vary, but you get the feel it's a good spot for everyone anyways. Plus, you can always eat outside too The is such good food here, seems to be a theme for my client spots) and their coffee comes in big cups It's more of a group spot than a solo trip, so bring your friends and family they will like it too. Only suggestion: sometimes the waiters are a little off, but not to the point where I don't want to come back. I always go back and plus they are running around a certain sized space serving 2+ people at one table. So it's understandable. Wonder who I will take here next? read more

Wow what a treat. We came 30 minutes before they closed and they still had pastries to choose from. First let me tell you about this cappuccino.... delightful! Not too sweet but you can taste the pistachio. Fiancé's breakfast sandwich was a hit and he is a happy and full man lol. I got the Pan Bagnat (tuna sandwich with anchovies) that was so good. Simple and classic and straight up delicious. My kind of sandwich. Next was the banana bread pudding.... if I could eat this all day and never gain weight I would be happy. It was so soft and full of flavor. My favorite dessert and this one exceeded my expectations. I only write reviews when the food and experience was above average and I feel called to share my lovely experience with others, or when something was so horrible. This one was just so delightful. I'll probably be back tomorrow Also I love the decor and the tables and chairs and even the bathroom was so pretty. read more

My husband and I went hear last week and each had a crepe... OMG!! AMAZING!! So today we went for brunch... the ham sandwich was delicious, the chicken salad crescent was fabulous, and the salmon toast was out of this world!! Not to mention the coffees were phenomenal ! The thing that was the kicker... they brought out a scrambled egg for my husband's service dog!! We loved the choice of being able to sit outside. It was such a beautiful day for it!! read more

Wow. This was the most pleasant surprise for a Thursday morning late breakfast. The atmosphere is so cozy and authentically French. I ordered a white chocolate lavender latte and the la melba crepe and it was so incredibly delicious. All thanks to the lovely woman Nicole who took my order, she gave great guidance and was extremely patient with me, as this was my first time visiting. It smells great and they have an amazing selection of not only food but the pastries look incredible. 11/10!!! Will definitely be back :) read more

THIS is my new favorite place! I came here with friends for a birthday brunch, and I'm SO happy I did! We had miel et citron, croque monsieur, a galette (I do not recall the name), espressos, and cappuccino. The staff was friendly and attentive, and though there was a slight issue with our order, they corrected it quickly and with a smile! The food was TO DIE FOR! The croque monsieur especially was perfection! The toast was perfectly crunchy, the bechamel creamy and flavorful (not at all the bland nonsense of other cafes in the area), the ham was generous but not overpowering. My friend and I tried this adorable little French cafe for brunch recently, and they did not disappoint! It was a busy Sunday morning but we were able to seat ourselves without waiting and the food only took about 20 minutes to come out, perfect timing to sit on the patio and sip our lattes! The food was sooo tasty, reasonably priced, and they have lots of alternative options for sensitive diets We Will definitely be going back! read more

This place was disappointing. The decor and overall ambiance of the cafe is cute. Everything looks great, even the food presentation. I ordered the Nutella Strawberry Crepe, with tax it was a bit over ten bucks. Reasonably priced till I cut into it. The crepe itself tasted good but there was no Nutella inside- so I'm assuming the chocolate drizzle on top of the crepe is suppose to be the Nutella... Not happy about my watered down Nutella crepe. read more

Le Cafe Du Val is a nice French cafe. It was lunchtime when we arrived, so it was very busy, but Cafe Du Val did an awesome job in customer service and speedy service. The dry cappuccino was on point. The latte was really good. The pear tart was not too sweet, so great for me. The egg quiche was good too. We sat outside due to being busy. A cute French bakery/cafe. They have beer and wine on the menu as well. They have a good variety of sweet or savory crepes to choose from and made fresh to order. The menu offers some authentic French choices which was nice. The staff was very polite and helpful. You stand in line to order and they serve the food to your table. The cheese and ham sandwich ( croque monsiure) was not quite like the ones I've had had in France but still tasted good. I would go back to try some other menu items. They are only open until 3pm. read more

This place is adorable, straight up. If France looked half as good as this, I would go immediately. There are a multitude of pastries and desserts, too many to name, all of which look absolutely amazing. There are also multiple menus listing drinks, sandwiches, salads, other pastries, etc. I honestly could've gotten one of everything it sounded and looked so good. Now, being COVID times (though you couldn't tell by how busy the place was), I was ordering to go. I got in line and tried to socially distance but nobody else in line or those working there, cared to enforce it. Either way, when it came to being my turn, I had a lot of questions, all of which were answered very quickly and kindly by a woman who looked like the owner. I ordered the pan bagnat and the la classique panini. The order was ready in a few minutes and I raced home to enjoy. I honestly loved the pan bagnat! It was so flavorful and salty and briney and just perfect! The side salad that came with it was good as well but quite stingy. My mother though the la classique pan was just ok unfortunately. Like I said earlier, I want to try everything on the menu, especially after how much I enjoyed my meal. Though there were not many, here are the flaws. The meal is not a big one. The sandwich can be eaten within a few bites and the salad consisted of little more than a few pieces of mesclun and way too much dressing. After tax, the meal for two came out to around $30. Yes, the sandwich was great but for that price, I expect more food. read more

You can have your dog but only outside seating not inside.
How is the menu pricing?
Very reasonable. I wouldn't say it's on the high side, nor is it on the low side. I think it is fair.
Are they still offering dinner on fridays and saturdays?

There is limited seating and it's a small place when it gets busy it can be loud. I'd say not really.
Do they take reservations?
Yes, they took our luncheon reservations, so it looks like they take reservations for the entire day.
Do you have any gluten free options?
No gluten free bakeries or cookies. They buy their bakeries, so no guarantee a dedicated gluten free label. And the bakery case an open counter so there's a chance of cross contamination if you are celiac's.
Are there any dairy free crepe?
Yes there is a savory dairy free buckwheat crepe!
