So I just have to do an update here because I've been coming for the last few months 2-3 times a month to get manicure, pedicure and wax and I am so happy I have found this place. I have brought friends and family and everyone is always blown away at their full detailed services, prices, and customer services they offer. If I ever move from the bay for sure this is one of the top things I will miss. Everyone is so kind and great but the people I work with the most is Lan, she is so funny and gives great massages always gives you the best service. Dayan does my eyebrows and she is really detailed and does an amazing job. I have come to this nail salon for 8 years, my mom even longer ( more than 8 ) LOL and we always get stephanie and Diane! they're super nice and patient and they do an amazing job. idk how the other workers are because i know some are new but Diane n stephanie i have always seen. Usually this place is pretty good but today the normal lady my wife goes to was just completely off and messed up her pinky nail and didn't attempt to fix it. Literally offered $2 off and I spent $70 on messed up nails. Not sure what was happening but she was like half falling asleep and just did a horrible job. I live super close to this place and I am glad I do! They have good service for the price and the end result lasts longer than anywhere else I've ever gone. My mani usually lasts about a week and my pedi for almost 2 weeks. With a mani/pedi deal for $25, you can't beat it! Can't be the price with this place ($25 for mani/pedi), but you will have to put up with a few things. First off, it's very small and they definitely need more spa pedi chairs. I sat down in the one all the way at the end and after realizing that I had to hold my ginormous purse on my lap I got the chair that was broken (no massage for me, boo). The mani/pedi itself was fine, she scrubbed extra long which for me is good. It does suck having to look out at Newark Blvd, but I brought a book to read so I didn't care too much. The space thing was really an issue with me because since I had to hold my purse on my lap, plus my book, then when she did my mani and gave me a little dish to soak my fingers in I had to figure out where that was going to ft. But here's the topper: Since it is such a small place, the ladies that work there are very loud when they speak to each other, so it's not relaxing at all. Then at one point the lady doing my nails tells me that she wants to ask me a personal question....I already knew what was coming so I say ok. She then asked me if my breasts were real. Luckily I'm not a super shy person so I tell her they are. Then they all start laughing and saying I told you so and things like that, I guess they were taking bets? She was nice about it and all, saying that I was so little to have such large breasts and that since they are Asian they always have small ones and are obsessed with women with big ones. I laughed it off and got back to reading my book, but I can only imagine what else was being said about me and the other ladies in the salon. Lucily the 3 ladies next to me were all speaking Spanish to each other and that seemed to bother the ladies at the salon....made me smile. I'm pretty self-conscience about my body to begin with, so IF I ever go back again, I'll make sure to where a sweatshirt or something to cover up! read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. They ravaged my nails. I went in with an appt for a full but had changed my mind and just decided to get my fakes taken off. When I told them this, a girl took me to the back to get started. She used large clips that hurt but it wasn't unbearable (yet). She then proceeded to rip off the remaining acrylic that was still on my nail beds... RIPPED. I literally yanked my hand away from her and said ow multiple times because it hurt so much. That didn't change anything though bc She kept freaking going. Unlike other places I've gone to, this person didn't use a filer or buffer-- nothing. See the attached pictures. My nails are so damaged and brittle from her. It hurt like a MOFO and I warn people from coming here. The floors were also quite littered and had dirty towels scattered about; makes me question how sanitary the place is. I used to love going here. I've been going for about 8 years. The girls did a great job and it was just an easy experience (aside from their lack of ability in keeping an appointment) Today was the absolute worst mani/pedi I've ever had. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes. For a manicure AND pedicure. Wtf Neither the manicurist or pedicurist clipped any cuticles (I left with hang nails.) The girl "scrubbed" (I'm using this term very loosely) my feet but it lasted all of 2 seconds. And the massage from either of them was so fast I don't even think I really got one. Icing on the cake? Having the manicurist spray my hands (and $100 pants!) with acetone! I tipped them 2 dollars. $1 each. The girl who ring me up looked at the tip I left on the receipt and started yapping away in Vietnamese. No idea what she said but I'm sure she wasn't happy, but then again, neither was I. I cannot believe I am doing this, because I am giving up a major secret! I drive by this place sometimes, and I thought it looked really cute and charming. The salon is a small pink cottage on a busy street. Since I thought it was cute, unique and charming, I wanted to try it out. (*I was in the process of looking for a better nail salon because everytime I walk out of my old nail place, I would find something wrong about the place. But that story is for another time and review. )Back to my story... My friend and I walked in on a thursday afternoon. We were greeted with a warm smile, and asked us what services we wanted. We asked for the mani-pedi. They told us to choose our nail color, (they offered both no name brand and OPI) and to take a seat on one of the chairs. We sat down on the spa massage chairs, and began to read the mags they offered. Each of us had two ladies working on us. One for the pedi and one for the mani. They did an awesome job!!! The massage on the legs were heavenly!!! The ladies really took their time, and the manicure was soothing. They were quiet, and kept their conversations minimum. ( I know that some guests can be annoyed with their manicurist carrying on their conversations while you are trying to relax, (that was one reason why I was looking for a different salon)) but not the case here. After they were done, they told us to relax, and not to move. When we finally decided our nails were dry, and asked to pay for our bill, we were shocked! The total price was only $24 dollars! What a freaking bargain! Most places I go to in the Pennisula side and the City cost about $40 dollars and up. The best part was my mani did not chip for almost two weeks, and my pedi lasted for more than a month! (which to me was unheard of, considering I am a teacher (constantly washing my hands, and live in flip flops)) We have been going back ever since! WARNING. Aside from streaky nails that aren't even painted all the way to my cuticle and nails that are filed so much they hurt, half way through my manicure I notice the tech had WARTS on her hands. Came back here on a crunch since its so close to home... I was in desperate need for a manicure on a monday but i didnt get out of work until 6 and this place closes at 7 so i called in hopes someone could take me. The woman reluctantly accepted but accepted nonetheless and for that i am thankful. I arrived at 6:30 and chose my color and sat down for my shellac manicure ($22). I wasnt expecting much from them based on previous experiences but i was pleasantly surprised this time. I wasnt transferred from one manicurist to another this time thankfully (probably because it was just my lady and another lady working on someone else but still). This manicurist did an awesome job with the polish. It didnt shrink this time! (As im sure it never does.. who knows what that other lady did.) She was very careful to get the edges and clean them as well. She was also patient with me when i didnt like the first color i chose and she changed it and also added glitter last minute when i decided to change it up a little. It was just me and her until about 7:30! I felt so bad but so thankful she took me in. She also massaged my hands at the very end! Finally yayyy! Im still bummed they dont have a big gel color selection but i would definitely go back to that lady as long as i get her and only her. I dont know her name but i do know she is from milpitas and has 1 son so ask for that person if you want your nails done. I like this place. =) My mani/pedi was turned out really well, it was $25 bucks, didn't have to wait and the lady who did my nails was so sweet. I had a nice view of the street and it was just nice. I have the little brochure with all the prices on it but i left it in my car and I'm too lazy to go get it. But they also offer hair cuts, facials, and waxing along with nails. The reason why i took off a star is because i accidentally bumped my nail onto something and it was kinda messed up. So i asked the lady if she could fix it and instead of wiping off all the polish and repainting the nail, she just took some acetone, and wiped the top of my nail where the bump was at. Then she blew it, and applied the polish to my whole nail again. it looks a little weird cuz now the polish on that finger is darker than all my other nails. =/ But yea, other than that, it was quite a pleasant experience. =) read more

i've been here about 3 times for waxing and french manicures, and i've had pleasant experiences each time. the times i've went, it seemed that all the other customers were there for pedicures (which i have yet to try here) so i didn't have to wait to get my waxing and manicure done, which is a big PLUS for me. the lady who waxes my eyebrows here is really nice and takes her time, which i appreciate. and i really like the girl who does my manicures (i'm so sorry i haven't gotten her name!)...she is really sweet and she really pays attention to how i like my nails shaped, and doesn't seem to mind when i ask her to cut a lil more here, or shape a lil more there. so until they do something that really turns me off to them, i'll be coming back for my eyebrows and manicures. and i'll try their pedicures, too! Good quality! I've been going here along with my sister for almost 3 years now. I've had all the girls in this place worked on my nails adn toes. I love how they clean them so perfecty that you can see it your self afterwards. Yes the place is not that fancy at all, it's small and you can just walk-in, but I lvoe how they can remember your name and knows exactly what services you need. They don't try to sell you out of something you don't need, they just work and have small conversation.:) Oh and they offer shellac nail polish, just add$10 on your regular $10 manicure. read more

Love this place. I was told at Helen's place to wait 5 minutes and 5 minutes turned into 15 and that's when i walked out. Then i came here and the 5 minutes waiting time was ACTUALLY 5 minutes! If i don't make an appt and just walk in i don't expect to be helped ASAP but don't say 5 minutes when you really mean 30! I am not impressed, came in at about three and they said they would be with me in 15 mins, so I waited, then at 3:15 they moved me to a pedi chair and turned on the water. They forgot the water was still on and it overflowed, getting my slippers wet, good thing my purse was in my lap! It was 3:30 and I still was not helped! When the lady finally sat down to work on my feet, she started to talk to the other ladies about me in Vietnamese. Ok, I may not look like I'm Viet, but I totally am and I completely understood every thing she said! I also understood the bad comments they said about the other customers as well. Really DID NOT appreciate that. I think they were very unprofessional. They wanted the business so bad, the ladies kept promising people just a couple minutes until they are helped. Me and my husband come here to get our feet done. Yea...he even giggles! I also have now chosen this as my nail salon. I used to pay $40.00 for my nails without a tip now add $5.00 tip and we have a $45.00 nail apt! Now with the same nail service and the METALLIC Nail Polish it comes out to $28.00 plus my $5.00 tip and its only 33.00! Yea...great service and I am saving $12.00!
