Super cute spot with plenty of seating indoors and super friendly cashier who provided great suggestions. Brought my brother who loves macarons and he said this is his new favorite spot! My person favorite was the lemon and mango! They were perfectly soft and not overly sweet

We went into this little patisserie mid week and it had nice little desserts. So mignonne! I wanted to try everything. The macarons were really good and the round pink dessert was tasty as well. And the lady at the counter was welcoming and sweet to us.

I hate leaving bad reviews and sometimes just don't review a place - but COME ON. The macarons here were over $2 a piece and they were not strongly flavored (you had to hunt for the taste) and slightly what I would call stale? I would say taste of refrigerator but I don't think they are refrigerated? They came straight from the display case. Granted, we weren't here during tourist season, but it is New Year's Eve, and you're selling them, so they should be good and fresh. The ones from Costco where you get 36 for $13 are more enjoyable because you haven't thrown over $2 at each one, and you don't have to hunt for the flavor. I think these were just stale? We have plenty of French cafes here in NorCal to get macarons, and Paris when we visit, of course, but this location was convenient as we walked along Prospect to the La Jolla Cave - and why not? A few extra calories for the walk. They were "fine" as my kids commented. Disappointing. We purchased mango, raspberry, pistachio, and I think vanilla was the 4th flavor. Overall just a disappointment. Too bad so sad.

The dark chocolate macaron tastes very good but the pistachio is very dry and bitter slightly. I don't like the pistachio when you can taste the bitterness. Overall this shop is full of cute little gifts and sweets. I recommend a visit if you are nearby.

Delectable chocolates and divine pastries. The young lady at the counter was very sweet and helpful. The ambience is adorable and inviting, pretty in pink. It was hard not to leave without buying one of everything. Will definitely have to go back again to try more goodies. This time around, we purchased a box of 6 chocolates and 2 cakes, a hazelnut crunch cake and an opera cake.

This is their 3rd location that I have been to as the other was in Del Mar and Vegas. With them having 60 locations around the US I have a ways to go. :-) Great customer service and nice selection to choose from. For sure will be back as I love their not too sweet items

    Plenty of outdoor seating!

Delicious almond chocolate croissant! I recommend it! Also the service and ambience were so inviting. Cute tables and chairs outside created a laid back culture and made me feel like I was in Paris! Also open later than other bakeries around so thats a huge plus!

Cute little french bakery cafe in la jolla. Wide variety of macarons and other chocolates. About 5 flavors of gelato and basic coffee service. I got three macarons, all of which were decent but nothing noteworthy. Friendly service. Lemon macaron: Recommended by staff. Nice citrusy flavor, slightly too sweet for my tastes Tiramisu macaron: Soft, the flavors here weren't the strongest Praline macaron: Best of the three. Rich hazelnut flavor Decent macarons, nothing mind blowing. For the price, I personally would not come back

    Macaron!

I was greeted by a very nice French guy, and he suggested that I try the lemon macaron. The shop is so cute, and clean with a cutesy French vibe and ocean view. The macarons and tea were both high quality, and next time I'm hyped to try the Dubai chocolate latte, will definitely be back

A mixed bag. Disappointed. Was so excited to try this place that I came back the next day for a treat. I purchased a box of 6 macarons and 4 chocolates. Macarons - Red velvet: worst of the batch, tasted stale - Rose: the bottom of each was hard. - Mango: tasted gummy - Raspberry: unremarkable - Lavender: much better and nice taste - Birthday cake: surprisingly the best. Nice subtle taste and great all around texture. Whole Foods makes better macarons. As does Bottega Louie (LA) and Miette (SF). Chocolates - strawberry lips: all looks. I love white chocolate but this one misses the mark, almost chalky. Strawberry taste not there - just extremely sweet. - earl grey: subtle, but good - pistachio: had more flavor, but I'm not a pistachio fan. Have had Kollar in Napa and theirs are probably the best. Overall, would not purchase again. Expensive places should deliver better quality and taste than this. I hate reviews like this but as someone just in town for a bit would have appreciated knowing to avoid this place.

MACARONS - MANGO JAM , STRAWBERRY KEY LIME , SALTED CARAMEL , TIRAMISU
    Marilyn G.

Oh my Goodness, this place is good ! I've only tried 4 of them just to start. MACARONS i tried: *SALTED CARAMEL * STRAWBERRY KEY LIME * TIRAMISU * MANGO JAM At First my son wanted to stay outside and wait 'coz he said that the store is way too girly for him ;) But the Moment he saw me took a Bite and saw my Facial reaction, he rushed in and started to taste some ;) We decided to get more to-go after, but not much 'coz we had to drive down to Downtown to Eat our Dinner. But if you are in LA JOLLA, do not forget to pass by this place called "LE MACARON FRENCH PASTIES". They are small macarons and they are $3 a piece. BUT oh my, the FLAVORS are so Insane good in that Small piece of sweets. But there's lots of Selections here, they even have VEGAN CAKES, cute keychain souvenirs, and more. I forgot to buy my LEMON MERINGUE TART! I will be back this week and I will make sure I will take my time in this Store so I wont forget what I wanted to have :)

The gelato and desserts were delicious. The super friendly staff made my bday even better!

The perfect treat for walking the shops in La Jolla. We tried so many flavors but I might be partial to the salted caramel.

I decided to call some bakeries in Fallbrook and Temecula for a birthday cake, but they were all too busy with wedding cakes. My sister-in-law then said she would just get one from the grocery store. Well, I knew that that would not fly with my niece, especially for her 50th birthday! I am so happy that I found Savvy Macs in Fallbrook. It was easy to pre-order, and convenient for me to pick up on our way. My niece was floored by the beauty of her 50th birthday macaron sampler! I don't know how many pictures she took of it, from every angle! She just loved it, and the flavors they picked based on color were just delightful! My favorite however, was the pistachio. We ended up going to a fall festival in Fallbrook, and stumbled across a booth for Savvy Macs, so my niece was able to thank them for the beautiful macaron ensemble. Thank you to the ladies of Savvy Macs for coming through for us, and for such a beautiful creation!

I came in to try their coconut dessert because I saw an advertisement for their bogo deal. Service was good! There was only one worker, but he was kind and timely with the order. The dessert is creamy. It consists of a coconut milk base mixed with various types of jellies and topped with coconut flakes and crushed peanuts! Once you add in the ice, it's a nice dessert for the summer! I do think their coconut base is a bit thicker than other che places I've tried. I also wish they would add other types of toppings into the dessert rather than only jellies. Overall, not great, but not bad! They sell other types of desserts (such as macarons) and drinks as well, so I'd love to come back and eventually try them! Hopefully business is booming a bit more by then!
