They had really good service. I think the staff was very patient in letting us test out a few gelato. I ended up gettting pistachio dipped waffle cone with salted caramel and pistachio gelato. My partner got hazelnut and coffee one. The gelato was good but my only complaint is that it melt so fast. It started dripping when they hand it to me. It's been awhile since I got gelato so this hit the spot. The pistachio cream that they dipped the waffle cone with is pretty delicious. I ended up getting the holiday biscotti and hazelnut (the full hazelnut, not the hazelnut-chocolate) with pistachio cream. It was insanely good. Bacio Di Latte is a new gelato place that just opened up in the La Jolla area and all I can say is wow. Upon walking in, I was amazed at the variety of flavors that they had on display and the staff were very kind with letting me try all of the flavors that I wanted! The cream-based flavors were very decadent and the sorbets truly tasted like the fruit itself. The store has both indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of tables for those looking for a nice area to study in as well. After many free samples it felt impossible to choose which flavors to pick but the waffle bowl comes with three flavors so I ended up going with the Belgian chocolate, tiramisu, and strawberry cheesecake. If you are a huge chocolate lover, you'll love the richness of the Belgian Chocolate!! It was good but I will say after a few spoons it felt very overwhelming and I felt like I couldn't properly taste the rest of the flavors because of the richness of the chocolate so I would suggest getting the Belgian chocolate as the bottom scoop if anything. The tiramisu was filled with little crunches which I loved and was spot on!! Strawberry cheesecake was also delicious overall I was very happy with all the flavors I went with. The quantity was very large though I would suggest sharing with 1-2 others. The staff was also so kind and was helpful in deciding which flavors to finalize on. They told us that all the gelato is made with organic milk and the best of the best ingredients which I felt like I could definitely taste in the gelato.
