The last time I had my dog groomed here they hurt her paws by over cutting and caused a burn make from over cutting her hair on her head. Don't ever bring your pet here if you love your dog. I knew in my gut that I was making a mistake bringing my dog here for a grooming. Not only did they cut her neck leaving bruising and blood, they also tied her neck so tightly that blood vessels in her eyes popped and we had to take her to the vet to make sure she was okay. The vet confirmed that the only cause of this would have been blunt force trauma from the groomers. I'm still waiting to see what I can do to shut this place down but in the meantime please don't bring your dogs here. read more

Horrible place took my tea cup poodle walking and jumping around happy dog when I picked him up the owners tells me if I had noticed my dog limping told him know right away he tells me he might have a torn ligament my baby had no issues until I picked him up then when I call to ask what happened to my dog the owner started yelling and telling me not take my dog to them anymore instead of explaining what they did to him.. please don't take you babies here 698.00 vet bill to find out they hurt my baby update after vet took xray the groomer dislocated his hip he will need surgery. We just moved here and one of my Goldendoodles needed grooming. While we were out, we spotted a beautiful Goldendoodle walking out of LePaws Groomers. Their work spoke volumes! I took a picture of their number and immediately came home to make an appointment. The staff was very friendly and I could tell they enjoyed their work. My Goldendoodle looked and smelled fantastic! CUSTOMER BEWARE!! Our family has taken our dogs here for years and began to see a change in quality and customer service in the past year. Today we were charged for an awful cut before the cashier told us that they had injured our dog's paw. The owner came out and said "It is nothing." I stated I will not be returning and he ended with "Take him to PetSmart instead." No concern whatsoever for our pet. See the pics below for yourself. I'm leaving a negative review because I am extremely shocked and disappointed with the lack of customer service demonstrated by one of the employees. We are new to the city and needed to get my dogs nails trimmed, so we went in for a wash and nail trim to spoil my pup. My pit/boxer, Axel is 9 1/2 years old and gets anxiety when he's getting his nails trimmed and we try to avoid kenneling him and make it a fast experience for him. Like any concerned dog owner, I asked the male employee if Axel would be kenneled and how long. He answered yes and he would have to be kenneled 1 1/2 hours and he would be ready for pickup within 2 hours. We offered if we could drop him off whenever they are ready for him and he said no, he has to be left there. We asked if they will only trim his nails and he replied with "No, we only do the full service. Not just the nail trim." He said that anywhere you go they are going to kennel him and you can try another place. (In a very arrogant manner. As if I've never been to a groomer before). Please keep in mind that we are having this conversation while my 70 lbs dog is squirming trying to go over the gate and get out of the building, dogs are barking, and other customers are waiting. I saw the terrified look on my dogs face and realized the lack of compassion shown by this man, and I told him we were not going to leave Axel after all. He said OK and removed his grooming leash off Axel. I think he walked away, I don't remember. I was too busy trying to calm my dog down and put on his harness. After a couple minutes of calming him down, we got his harness back on him. Just a thought: My dog is very sweet and docile, but the employee doesn't know that. What if the dog ran off and bit another dog or customer? His actions were beyond unprofessional, rude and irresponsible. On top of that, no compassion, empathy or understanding. I think if you're going to work with animals you should show a little more compassion towards dogs. I felt very uncomfortable. We ended up going to Classy Doggy Cuts groomer down the street that trimmed his nails in less that 5 minutes and charged me $5.45. I don't rant on yelp/google but I feel I owe it to my dog, if it will prevent another pup from having a horrible experience. read more

Love this grooming place! They're so nice and my sweet boy always looks and smells amazing. His coat is always insanely soft afterwards and it lasts for over a week! They even give him an adorable little bandana and a spritz of puppy cologne! I had been just taking him to PetSmart where they charged me over $100 for a groom because he's a german shepherd mix, but he's got Shiba in him too so he's barely medium sized...Made no sense! PLUS they never trimmed his nails (Which is something I always asked for specifically) and he just smelled like day-old dish water....EW! At Le Paws their prices are fair and not expensive at all compared to what I paid before, and they always do a phenomenal job. I definitely recommend bringing your pup here. Make sure to leave a nice tip for the wonderful job they do! read more

The entire time we were next door it sounded like the dogs were getting beat or neglected. Tried to unwind with a massage but thanks to them it was impossible to enjoy. I recorded it and sent it to a friend that owns a similar business and they were mortified. When we pulled up initially one of the employees was standing out front just smoking a cigarette staring us down. They either need better employees or to put up some soundproofing materials so it doesn't disturb everyone else. When I asked about the noise he said it's my problem not his and hung up on me. read more

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!!! I had been here once or twice to get my dog's nails trimmed. All visits were absolutely wonderful, great customer service... my dog has extremely bad anxiety, and they took care of her gently with lots of patience.. today that was not the case. I have a shepherd/border collie mix who is incredibly anxious and protective around other people she does not know. She was freaking out in the shop when we got there, and we had to step out and come back in. When we came back in, she was still on edge, and the owner (I'm assuming) came from around the counter and approached my dog which set her off again. I was trying to calm her down, and he was still getting closer to her trying to put the slip leash around her neck, making it worse. I tried to say "sir, please let me calm her down" and further explain how he could help with her nerves, but before I could finish he cut me off and raised his voice and said, "DO YOU WANT ME TO DO IT OR NOT?" oh, no no no. So I reply "We can just leave then...?" he said "FINE, GO." I HAD TO GET HER TALONS TAKEN CARE OF, and this place had done such a great job before, so we lingered a bit and I got my girl to calm. I was given a slip leash by another employee earlier, and I was able to get it around her neck. We took some deep breaths, and I said "do you need me to take her own leash off, or should I leave it?" the kid behind the counter turned to the assumed owner and said "are you going to be servicing her?" and the owner said "NO." So I said "Merry Christmas, happy holidays. That is SO unfortunate!" and left. I was FUMING, and normally leave it at that, but I went back inside refusing to let anyone treat me as such. Before I could get any words out he said "get out..get out... GET OUT GODDAMNIT!!" I will never return to have my dog serviced, and neither will any of my family members who were loyal customers for a long time. I wish I could leave zero stars. read more

Awesome groomers. I have been coming here for the last couple of years. I have a Great Pyrenees and a Bernese/Newfoundland mix. Recently my BerNewfie was groomed here and they worked miracles. She has cancer and I was concerned with it being too hard on her. They reassured me they would take care and they did. She looked amazing and did not seem stressed. The older man that works here I'm assuming is the owner or manager definitely doesn't love dogs, he was rude to us when we decided to not leave our dog here in a kennel. He was very abrasive about our concern leaving our dog in their business for 2 hours. He had us take the harness off our dog to put the stores leash on, after deciding to not leave our dog there he quickly removed his leash to leave us struggling with our panicking dog to get back in our harness to find another place to take our dog that actually has some compassion for dogs and customers. I've used Le Paws for several years both for bathing my 80lb German Shepard and cutting my Papillion mix breed. On my last visit they trimmed off the ear feathers that mark the breed. When I got home and realized what they had done I was very upset. I called and told didn't they know about breeds and that in my dogs file were instructions to never cut his ear feathers. They said it was in the file and wouldn't let that groomer cut my dog again and then got defensive when I said they were unprofessional idiots. This was at the upper end of my price range, but I had a great experience. I needed my cat's hair trimmed before taking her on a road trip. Most other places required an appointment or said they could only do a full shave, but Le Paws was really accommodating and squeezed me in for what I needed. I was specific about the hair cut and they made sure we were on the same page before I left. When I picked my cat up she looked great and her coat smelled good and was well-trimmed but still the right amount of fluffy. The staff was so kind! We just adopted our lab mix Evie and were a little lost of the bathing/grooming process. We live close so walked in here. The receptionist was very welcoming and said to make an appt- which she scheduled for two hours later(everywhere else was asking for 7 hours later) Evie was super shy but they were so kind and patient with her. She did not want to leave! She came home clean and fresh and even got perfume and a bandana on the way out. We will now be monthly customers! I appreciate how they ensured the first experience was so "normal", Swift and calm. Terrible interaction with Izzy. He was so rude and unprofessional. He got upset because my dog was nervous and peed on the floor. He yanked on the leash so hard and started dragging her in the floor. When I offered to help him to take her inside smoothly by me walking her into the area he got even more upset. He dragged her to kennel And tired her up. When I told him that I could have made the whole process less traumatic for my dog by me walking few steps into the area, he demanded that I leave the store with my dog and never come back. I have been using this groomers for several years And never had anyone treat me or my dog this way. I we'll never go back here. read more

Do NOT bring your dog here. When I picked up my dog, he was out of it with one eye completely shut. They supposedly got shampoo in his eye, but I can see that they cut the hair near his eye too short as well. He has to wear a cone in order for his eye irritation to go down, and his eye is red and VERY irritated. They apologized but still made us pay the full $50. They did NOT mention what happened over the phone when they called for pickup until I had gotten there, this is extremely disappointing. Sadly, our poor dog is extremely distressed and may never be himself again. read more

I had to figure out from his demeanor that he had been traumatized by his time here. I would never recommend this place to anybody who loves their dog. I thought because there was no "back room" that everything was copacetic and dogs would be treated with care. However my bichon was, like I said, traumatized after his visit here and I am kicking myself for leaving him at this location for a groom and he not only looked awful but his demeanor was changed for months after his experience here if you love your dog like I said do not come here. I am a recent dog mom and this was my first ever professional dog grooming for my dog, Zayn. I WAS SO FREAKING IMPRESSED WITH THEIR WORK!!! Zayn is a fairly hairy dog with a long tail, and extremely hairy grinch toes. But no matter how hairy, they did an amazing job and made going here completely worth it. I am love my pup to death so I was nervous dropping him off at a place that I have never been before, especially after hearing some horror stories from people who did not have great experience with going to groomers. When we called to make our appointment, the lady in charge was so sweet and made it easy to book. We did have to reschedule due to an issue they were having with their water, but they made it up by giving us a discount AND adding in a ton of extra add-ons for free! We dropped off Zayn and picked him up a few hours later and were so happy with the result. 10/10 would take him there again! read more

I have used this groomer for eight months. Each visit the service has become worse. Today was the final straw! The cut is not good. My dog was there for four hours (it has never been more than two and a half hours). I brought him at 9:45. I called to check because it was so long and was told to come in ten minutes. One ear is shorter than the other. I pointed it out as well as the uneven chin. They took him back to fix it. The short ear is now shorter and choppy. I asked fo no fluff and his tail is still fluffy. I was told to wait in my car. When he was brought out I did not have a chance to look him over when I was told "I have to go help that lady". He walked away. They charge almost six dollars more if you use a card. I was told a few visits ago that a tip was not necessary so I stopped giving one. That is when the service started going downhill. Very disappointed. read more

Let me start off by saying I always want to support small businesses, but when the customer service is this poor and people are not respected, you've lost my business. I have brought both my pups here a few times and today was just so upsetting. The manager Izzy was highly disrespectful. They increased the prices and did not share price change until after service. No where does it show price increase in the store. When I asked if they could honor the old price since it was false advertising, they said you can go somewhere else next time. He did not let me talk to his supervisor. He said his supervisor is "too busy to deal with his customers" and don't mind losing business "not from a client like this". I was next door at Top Feet and heard dogs crying like they were being hurt. I would NOT be comfortable taking my dog to this groomer. NEW OWNERSHIP IS AWFUL -- AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST We used to go to the old groomer and decided to give the new management a chance. They said all the old information was transferred from the old groomers system to theirs so I asked for the regular haircut. So when I came to pick up my dog, he looked like barely any hair was cut off when the regular hair cut was a at least an inch off. They insisted that the information they went off of was accurate even when I provided pictures of what he looked like after he came out of the old groomers everytime. They were nice enough to make the fix and said this would not be possible if they were busy;however, I have never seen anyone handle a dog especially a small dog as rough as they did! After seeing this and reviews by other angry customers, im not surprised they gave razor burns to a customers dog of which they posted pictures of the burns on their review. A month has passed and my sister went to drop of our dog today (decided to give them another chance) and the lady at the front desk brought up on her own will that I made a huge scene and there were alot of customers there. This is terrible business practice to complain about a paying client. There was one person who came at the end of the conversation and you stated that you were only able to fix our dogs haircut because you werent busy. To a groomer who botched the haircut and complains about paying customers making a scene when one wasnt made, you should look to change your employees and give better training to new hires. I had no issues with Legacy groomers but once management changed this has become the worst groomers experience. read more

TERRIBLE customer service. I took my puppy to get a bath, just a bath. My boyfriend and I wanted to support small businesses especially with this pandemic going on so we decided to take our puppy there. He got a severe ear infection a few days after, which lead my puppy to be on pain medication for 2 weeks. When I called the place to explain the situation they directly told me to send my complaint through email. I told them that I needed to speak to someone because it was really disappointing. My puppy was in pain because of their fault. The guy that I spoke to basically told me to deal with it. They should've refunded the money for the bath and paid for the vet bill.
