I went there today because I was craving breakfast food. The service was good. I loved the Texas pecan coffee. I ordered the eighteen wheeler. Le Peep is a delicious place that has become one of my favorites! I bought the $20 coupon book and enjoy using it for savings all year. In addition Le Peep has a great loyalty program and always texts specials on Sunday. The White Lightening omellette is light and always done to perfection. Honorable mention is the English muffin gooey bun. The service is always great too and coffee is always served with your own carafe which is a nice touch! First experience at Le Peep. Service was good. Very friendly and polite. The food, however, was a little underwhelming. I automatically deducted a star solely based on the coffee. You can't be a breakfast/brunch place and not have good coffee. It was a dark roast that tasted like it had been sitting for quite some time. I ordered the Country Benedict. Hash browns, covered in grilled onions, diced country ham, poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce. It was decent. I also ordered a side of pancakes. No bueno. I have been going to this Le Peep off and on since 2004 and have never had a bad meal there. It's consistently good food with an emphasis on the basics of breakfast and lunch, though I would say the breakfast menu is stronger than the lunch menu, and more varied overall. Price is about average or a wee bit high but the quality and service make it worthwhile. The pancakes are the best, anywhere, ever; and there's a lot of flexibility...they'll fix whatever you want, however you want it as long as you can communicate it properly. Get the potatoes CRISPY, they're delicious! They have a great series of smaller meals, ideal for people who want to eat reasonable portions but still have a variety of items on their plate rather than just eating 1 or 2 things and throwing the rest away. The atmosphere is nice, too: bright, sunny, clean, cheerful. And they're one of the most kid-friendly places I know where there's also plenty for adults. read more

Not a place my husband and I would go back to. Had breakfast. Coffee was weak. Eggs were OK. Sausage was dry. Gluten free waffle and pancakes were so dry they were difficult to even try to eat. I have been here twice and love the food! I usually dislike Gravy but their biscuits and gray is delicious! Mmm Will go back. It's a small place and not decorated much but they make due with the space. The check out process is a bit slow since you have to pay at the front. I have been wanting to try this place for a while so my boyfriend and I decided to go for lunch today. He ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast and I ordered the waffle breakfast. There were 6 other tables with customers. However there was only 1 waitress. It took an hour to have a meal I could have made at home in half the time. Boyfriend liked chicken fried steak and I liked my meal but the peasant potatoes that came with both meals were hard and rubbery. I also ordered an Arnold Palmer which came with no ice and I was never offered a refill. When it came time to pay, the lady at the register was eating something and complaining that Scott got to leave early and how lucky he was. Probably will never go back. read more

If you come here stick with the basics like eggs bacon and pancakes don't branch out and try their special burritos or crazy combos of too many ingredients. I got their breakfast burrito that smelled like canned catfood after eating some of it I realized that the green chili sauce had canned pork or chicken in it it just was very average and didn't taste very good. It's been a couple of years since we've been here but thought we'd treat ourselves to breakfast before going grocery shopping. Not a real treat though. When we sat down, the first thing I noticed were the coffee cups already set on the table. Inside was that build up of coffee that doesn't always wash out in the dishwasher. YUCK. So I switched it out with a cleaner cup on another table. The prices seemed a little high but we were hoping for quality to offset it. Not so. The coffee wasn't bad for restaurant coffee. Bacon, eggs, pancakes and sausage were average but barely warm when they served us. It was early in the morning so there weren't very many people. No excuse to get lukewarm food. When I grabbed the syrup container I was appalled. Grime in the crevices on the lid. ewwwwwww So I asked for a cleaner dispenser. The waiter complied and brought us a new one that he had just washed off. You could tell because it was still wet. All in all, it's not a pleasant meal when you don't feel there is much care in keeping things clean and the food is barely warm. Also the quality of food was less than stellar. read more

At no time did we observe this employee wash her hands or use any other form of sanitizer. It seemed like a prime opportunity to spread contagions. My wife and I, have been coming to this location every Saturday at a minimum for a decade or more. The food is great and the service is awesome. We are very picky in how we like our food prepared and served. The staff accommodate us very graciously and make our dinning experience we look forward to each week. We ride by this place almost every day. Seen that it was always packed. So we finally went. It was pretty busy when we walked in around 1030. We were promptly seated. Our waitress did not offer us a selection of coffee as they promote. The coffee at the table was cold and when asked for more coffee she went to take more orders. This was after waiting for more than 5 min for coffee. We asked another waiter who probably got his new coffee with no issues. Then there's is the food. I've always said you can't put enough seasoning on poor ingredients to make them taste good. In my opinion the sausage tasted like the kind I was served at boot camp. Out of the box flavor. The potatoes seemed like they were from the freezer Section at the local market. Could taste the freezer on them. Oh and mind you it's $3.49 for a side of this sausage. The only good thing was the fresh squeezed orange juice and the English muffins. Which I would even question if it was freshed squeezed being that everything else tasted like it was in a can or box . I get it not everything a restaurant serves it's going to be fresh. But for what we read on the reviews you would think the food would have been amazing. Food was "ok" at best. I'm not saying to not go there. As this is just my review. Go try them out. Maybe we went on an off day. And they are better. But I can make better food at home. Thank You for trying. I have never actually written a negative review on any resonant, but I have been to this Le Peep twice with poor satisfaction I thought I would express my opinion. I called in an order for a Triple Decker sandwich. I asked if it could be on flatbread instead of wheat and asked for extra cheese. When I picked it up there was no cheese and was missing avocados. I could have been ok with that as long as the problem was rectified. However when the server went to the back to ask for cheese someone verbally expressed loudly how displeased they are for the request. "OMG are you serious! I am done with this! " is what I heard. Been going there for years for breakfast. This last year has seen a continuous decline. 1st if was cheaper bacon that was horrible so I switched to sausage. Then they stopped carrying Smuckers jams and have something that literally pours out of the container. Now when you walk in it's hard to find someone to seat you. Couple that with people who bring in screaming kids and you have a stressful breakfast with jam you can't get, bacon you can't eat, and constantly waiting to be seated and check out because all the servers have disappeared. read more

Wow... I read some of the reviews on here before we came. I was was a more than a little skeptical but it was all a great restaurant experience. The food was great. The pancakes that came with my breakfast were huge and piping hot. I didnt see any high school kids working (my biggest fear from the review). An older guy waited on us and it was fine dining caliber service. He didnt miss a beat (you rock older guy). You can smell the special coffees as you walk in. Good place. I have visited this location often. Each time there are kids at the register and for seating customers that have no idea what they are doing. We were told we would be next for seating, 20 minutes later and 6 parties we finally got a seat. We were told they thought we were "Steve" who was next on the list. Totally unacceptable. Food was good, service ok. We asked to see the mgr and he said our meal would be discounted, WTF how much we asked... well how about we cover it.... honestly, we wondered what percentage he had in mind!! My boyfriend and I tried this place because it boasted on the website, "best breakfast in the world" As you see from the 2 star rating we were sadly disappointed. It wasn't BAD...but it wasn't GOOD either...it was just meh. Looking at the other posts on here, I wonder if it's this particular location. We both got the omni omelettes. The waitress forgot something my boyfriend ordered..no biggie...came out pretty tasty, but the pancake I also ordered tasted like NOTHINGNESS!! The syrup...I'm not sure if it was maple or what! It tasted like thickened water...there was no maple about it..haha could have been pure corn syrup for all I know. It wsn't even worth eating so I didn't. The table we got was also a bit dirty. I just don't think I'd go back...nothing too terrible happened there...I've just found better options. For breakfast poor richards and the original pancake house.....nothing beats OPH's french toast or pancakes!
