I hadn't been to Le Peep in years, and omg I'm regretting it. I have been missing out!!! Their menu ranges from pancakes to skillets to benedicts, and everything in between. They also have a sizeable lunch menu if you're not feeling the egg vibe! I ordered the nutty latte as my drink. It had vodka, espresso, and hazelnut. Perfect for a Saturday brunch. Could've have been a teeeeny bit hotter in all honesty, but still delicious. For my meal, I decided to go with the Italian benedict. It had hollandaise, prosciutto, tomato, basil, pesto, and Italian bread. By far my favorite benedict I've ever had. I'm a sucker for prosciutto, and all these flavors mixed together were just a chefs kiss. I ordered a salad as my side, and it came with a honey mustard vinegrette which was super yummy. The place is now called "Maple." Despite the new name, it doesn't even begin to come close to the service at Le Peep. We came in about 9:00 on Sunday morning. All the booths were filled but none of the tables, so we were seated at a table. We waited. After a few minutes, a couple with two small boys were seated at the next table. We waited some more. Then another group came in and were seated at an adjacent table. Then another group. And still we waited. Finally, after we had been there almost 10 minutes with zero contact from any server, a woman came out and brought water to the family next to us. We got up and left. Perhaps I'm just old-fashioned, but I expect a server to come to our table within a reasonable time to offer us water and/or coffee. In my book, waiting 10 minutes without any contact from a server, only to have a table that was seated after us get served while we sat there watching, is unacceptable for any restaurant. Don't waste your time and money at this place! There are too many other breakfast options in the area to eat at a restaurant that obviously hasn't the first clue about basic customer service. read more

We have a big table with around 14 peoples but they place our order correctly and they food come out in reasonable time. 1. Bloody Mary ($8) [3/5] They came with bacon, celery and olives. The drink is average. 2. Salmon Breakfast Bowl ($18) [4/5] The breakfast bowl has home fries, smoke salmon, two poached eggs, fried mushroom and spinach, avocado (+$0.99) with your choice of toast. Food is always amazing here! Everything is delicious and right on point with flavor. I always bring relatives and friends for their birthdays and each time they are all amazed! We will forever be fans of Le Peep. The place has an open, airy and amazing view that I personally appreciate since I tend to feel cluster-phobic at other restaurants. However, I have ran into the slow service issue which is what I've seen people complain on their reviews here. It's all true. We do fit that into our schedule though every time we arrive to Le Peep as well as warning my guests. You should too and still go with an open heart and a hungry tummy. Good breakfast choices, mid drinks, great service and space. Cost $22 | Rating 9/10 Dropped in with 23 people 1 hour before closing. We got a long table in the center that fit our whole crew. Food was great with plenty of different options for everyone. I went with a potato bowl with eggs, others got omelettes or waffles. The real surprise was the french toast! This stuff was amazing, dark brown but golden inside, moderate shell and soft afterward, everyone wanted to try some and everyone enjoyed it! Drinks were the only disappointment but they weren't bad, just not amazing or worth. The staff were the real 5 stars. They were quick to all our needs, organized, attentive. Waters were always provided, condiments requested came fast, and even mistakes that were made were caught before we noticed. Had breakfast on a Saturday morning was sat quickly but had to wait about 20 minutes to get acknowledged by our server (Sara). When she finally came over she was very blunt and just took our orders as quickly as possible then left. The food was good although it took a while to come out. The coffee (iced caramel latte) was awful, don't waste your money. About an hour into us being there, Sara came by our table and gave us our checks. She never once asked if we wanted it separate or together. We felt pressured to leave even though we had only been eating for about 20 minutes. They overcharged us for the coffee and when I kindly brought it up to Sara she was very rude and said the pricing was correct. I pointed out the the menu said otherwise and she told me that the menu was wrong and the amount she charged was correct. That is false advertising. When she came back we asked for boxes (as most of our food was still on our plates) and she looked annoyed that we were even asking. She brought out 1 to go box and when we clarified that we needed 2 she insisted that we told her 1 and stormed off to get another one. I still tipped because I'm not a horrible person but I hope that Sara is corrected on her behavior. Solid brunch experience- totally different from any other le peep I've been to, this one has major Magnolia Home vibes. Food was delicious- I had the lobster eggs Benedict. I usually don't order lobster in Indiana but it was the same price as the salmon so I went for it and was pleasantly surprised. It was pretty empty and we'll spaced out for Covid. Strike 2, Le Peep. After a horrible experience 3 months ago (super long wait, bad food, short staffing) we decided to give you another try. Party of 10 on Saturday morning, stood at the front of the restaurant for 15 minutes, never even acknowledged by staff. Two other groups came and went (unacknowledged, as well) and we took our business down to the pancake house. There was a 30 minute wait, but they at least greeted us and let us know and we saw the other parties there, as well. Had a great breakfast! Not sure how you stay in business. Opening day was Thursday but they don't seem to have announced their presence yet. When I went at 2p (open until 3p), we were the only ones in there. The hostess was nice and full of character and energy at the end of the day but the waitress we had wasn't nice at all. She seemed like she was just there to "do her job". Food was pretty good. Portions are smaller but prices are the same at other breakfast places that overfeed you. Their menu here is completely different from the other Le Peep restaurants in the area--keep that in mind. English muffin was burnt to a crisp (and we didn't ask for it to be that way and couldn't tell until we opened it up). Got up and went to the bar to ask for a new one since our waitress was MIA. Rocked up on a Sunday about 1pm. Thought it would be packed, but it was only 2/3rds full. I took my 4 year old and they seated the two of us straight away. We were near the door and it was 40 degrees out, so every time someone opened the door it was chilly; maybe it's the way the doors are arranged. They have a kid's menu and Evan ordered the happy face pancake. Comes with a sliced strawberry and whip cream. He also ordered a side of sausage. Must have been good because the little boy nearly ate all of it - and it was a good sized serving. I ordered the Holy Veggo with 2 eggs and white cheddar - hot and fresh, this was an amazing meal! Highly recommend this dish. I also got coffee from the coffee bar - great concept where I can get up and serve myself if I want more. They had creamers and almond milk, which was nice to see. Service started out good. - quick and cheerful. We finished around 2pm and the place had dwindled down to about 4 tables. Our server then left to start packing the place up. This left us waiting a bit long for the check. About $25 with the tip for two - not bad. The space itself is very bright and open with good music playing in the background. Nicely decorated and everything was new of course. Hope to see it stay this way over time. Did not check out the toilets, surprisingly. Would love to see this business do well in Whitestown. I went w the Wilbur and Gravy skillet w hash browns instead of home fries. It comes w green peppers, onions, sausage w sausage gravy over it, topped w 2 eggs...ordered a short stack of pancakes on the side. Skillet was ok , eggs were cooked as I liked them. It's Le Peep, so sticky buns, an omelet, pancakes, maybe an upgrade from Cracker Barrel. The oddity after the check-in is the wait, just watch the events unfold. It was a bit after lunch but well before close, the restaurant was by no means crowded, plenty of open but unclean tables. A hostess finally sauntered over and checked us in, had seen her standing over at their server coffee station conversing with another employee. After check in, advised about 20-30 minute wait... Other parties were also waiting, no one bussing tables, servers helping at some tables. Hostess returned to server coffee stand, drinking coffee, talking to other employees, while new customers came in and were waiting to check in. A member of one party got up, walked over to a dirty table and began clearing dishes and the like. Once complete he got a wet cloth from near the server area and wiped the table: Voila', he and his companions were seated immediately. Wasn't sure this was an option for us, didn't pursue. Did notice a random worker walked out pushing a small cart and began clearing a table but quit, eventually returning to clear a couple of tables. Lots of fraternizing among the staff, not a press on activity to help customers except with a couple of servers. The overall appearance is the "prisoners" were running the show. No management in view, most staff operating in a lackadaisical fashion, doing as they pleased at a leisurely pace. When we were finally seated we, fortunately, had an attentive server, ordered, got our food, and left. The food was okay, the sticky bun was served on an untoasted whole wheat bagel (vs. a toasted English Muffin), but we ate and got out of there. I really struggled between 3-4 stars on this one. First off, the food is solid. Both visits I ordered an omelette and one form or the other of potato, and they were prepared nicely. My kid got a pancake stack on one visit, and there is nothing little about their pancake stack! On another visit he got the French toast. Both pancakes and French toast were good, but perhaps a bit dry. The real issue here is the service...servers are nice and pleasant but very inattentive. It's generally busy, so it is probably an issue of needed 1 or 2 more servers during those busier times, but also every restaurant in the area right now is struggling to get workers, so I settled on 4 stars, as this is currently the best breakfast option in Anson. read more

I had zero complaints! The new space is very open and inviting. I like that they have a small couch area for that day when you don't want to grab a booth or table. I read reviews about it being cold inside, but when I visited, I sat away from the doors at a booth to the side and the temp was comfortable. The tables at the booth move so you can allow for more or less room on one side if you need it. I was greeted promptly and politely. My server was very nice and checked back with me often. My husband and I went for brunch and it was wonderful! They were pretty busy and only had a couple waitresses but we were seated quickly, greeted by our waitress almost immediately and had hot coffee within a couple minutes. My husband got an omelette with a side of bacon and I got eggs Benny. Bacon cooked perfectly, omelette was awesome and my eggs Benedict was A+. Kudos to the chef for getting it perfect! We came here as an alternate to our loss of FlapJacks... The coffee was very good. We ordered Hoosier Bread and had to return it, as the outside was brown, but middle was raw dough. My guest had French Toast and Indy Skillet. The French Toast was not evenly cooked. The one side was lightly seared only. I got the belgium combo, which was just a std round wafle, not the deep pockets and batter was not Belgium with light airy mix. It was more like pancake battered waffle. The balance of the food and execution was similar to the Hoosier Bread starter, where the temperature of iron and fryer temp was too high. They deep fried my fresh sausage, which made casing like plastic. We may return, as out breakfast options on Sunday have decreased locally for goo homestyle options, but not without reservation. The home style potatoes, b/c of fryer temp were good. The balance of meal was just poor execution in the back at a time that was not busy. Only four tables seated. read more

Came in on Valentine's Day. Super busy. Served my way through college, completely understand. Hostess greets us and tells us she would clean a table and seat us. Great! As she heads to the table, manager catches her and seemingly scolds her. Didn't hear the convo, but the hostess began to cry. Waited 10 minutes by the door.
