Downgrading my review to one star based on recent interaction with salon staff after I posted a very honest account of my experience. Jennifer, the woman who conducted the high-pressure sales tactics after my appointment, messaged me on Yelp. She denied the salon engages in this type of behavior and then blamed my bad experience on a new receptionist. She wanted to discuss my review over the phone. I am not comfortable giving my number out and told her this and then offered to continue messaging through the Yelp app. I never heard back from Jennifer and a few days later I saw Yafit's response. Talk about missing the point. Like Jennifer, Yafit takes no responsibility and denies the salon engages in high-pressure tactics. So I'm lying? I'm delusional? I misunderstood? What possible motivation would I have for posting my original 2-star review other than to provide the business with honest feedback and warn future clients of some pretty shady behavior. I did notice that one of the salon's less-than-stellar reviews is now gone, which is interesting. It's funny that Yafit mentions the "over 100" 5-star reviews in her attempt to defend the salon and discredit my experience. Maybe she doesn't realize that all but a few of those reviews are not visible on the salon's Yelp page unless a user scrolls to the bottom and follows the link to "reviews not recommended." read more

I Just had my first facial at Le-Pelle and will be back for a series of treatments, which I got at a very good price. I had a wonderful experience starting with a lovely reception from Jennifer, the manager, and Tamar the receptionist. The place is very clean and inviting, and within a short walking distance from a parking garage. Joy, my esthetician, gave me an amazing facial, targeted specifically for my needs. She was very professional, attentive and friendly. My face feel rejuvenated and pampered. I look forward to my next treatment, and highly recommend this place!! read more

I was highly impressed with Lepelle. Not only is it a beautiful spa the staff is very friendly and professional. They have a sign at the front desk "ONLY GOOD VIBES HERE" and that was definitely the case. I had not had a facial since before Covid so to say I really needed this is an understatement. This is an update to a prior review. The salon reached out to me, sincerely concerned that I had a less than glowing experience. I had visited them back in June, right after they first opened. Well looks like they worked the kinks out. My hydro-dermabrasion facial was excellent! Yacqueline (the esthetician) was wonderful - very knowledgeable, thorough, and caring. It definitely felt like it was way more than a job for her, and the conversation I had with her after facial confirmed it. There were all sorts of other things included with this facial that I haven't experienced at other salons. I think that's because Le-Pelle is a medi-spa - so they have a bigger toolkit when it comes to taking care of your skin. My face was literally glowing after the treatment - and my pores were noticeably smaller. The products also smelt/felt heavenly. I am glad they convinced me to come in again. read more
