Lemongrass Steak Banh Mi with a fried egg
Christopher V.

Huge portions and great food here! Tried Le Pho and was not disappointed. First of all the service was great, our server kept making sure that we didn't need anything. The food was also really delicious and was all shareable. The banh mi was one of the best ones that I've ever had! The fried rice was also very fresh and flavorful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself is quiet and very roomy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

It's hard to find Vietnamese food in Los Angeles, but le pho is pretty decent. Situated in WeHo, it's hard to find parking by default, my group was just lucky we came when the meters were free. We got a rice plate and a pho, and were so hungry I forgot to take a picture before digging in. The rice plate was supposed to be a lemon grass pork, but the lemongrass wasn't as obvious to me. However, it paired well with the sauce on the side and I like that they have ginger sauce and house chili-vinegar sauce on the table. I also liked that the veggies were perfectly cooked - not undercooked stringy or over cooked mushy. The pho was decent and had a generous portion of meat for one person. The service is good! There were only two staff people for the late evening shift but I felt that our group was taken care of. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself is nice, plenty of tables and has an outdoor seating to enjoy the weather.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also really appreciated that the bathroom was clean and well-stocked.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I ordered the pho with thinly sliced beef and tendons. The tendons were AMAZING. The pho broth in my opinion was okay. It wasn't THE BEST pho I've had here in LA. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The indoor dining area was pretty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking in front of the place, had street parking which was nice and easy for me on a Thursday evening about 6pm. My only complaint was the beef, but to be fair I did order my beef on the side raw. Most places have the beef REALLY thin and paper like to where it cooks pretty fast in the broth. The beef they brought was much darker.. than I was use to. And it was pretty thick. I put all the beef in my broth immediately after but the beef was not cooked. It had a very "beefy" raw flavor to it. It made it hard to enjoy the pho. I took all the beef out of my bowl and just enjoyed the broth and the noodles. Would I come back? Probably not. There was only one server at this time and he was amazing. Props to the service and was super sweet.

Food was good. Service was great. Our server Tracy explained everything on the menu to the T. A Hawaii connection. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was spacious and I liked the decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Nice place to stop by and have some Pho.

We came super hungry after a convention and the parking was so convenient here. We ordered Beef Combo Pho and something my uncultured butt can describe as a surf and turf crepe. It all tasted great and the meat servings in the Pho was generous. We came starving, we left happy. The gentleman who served us was so friendly and patiently explained everything to us and made us feel so welcomed! The setting is nice and clean. I especially loved how clean the bathroom was too.

Phenomenal Pho if you are a vegan Got the vegan Pho. Super tasty! Tofu was top notch. I'm so happy Service was amazing, not too busy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice place[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]First time here and it was super cute inside![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordered the lemongrass pork rice plate and it sooo tasty! It came with a fish oil sauce on the side that definitely took the meal to the next level. We got takeout but would definitely return to dine in. Great service as well!

Big fan of pho, first time guest at this restaurant in West Hollywood. Loved the service here over everything, she really gave us recommendations and went over the menu very well with us. They were busy and she still was friendly and personable so that definitely giving it a 4 star for me. The beef pho itself was good, I've just had better. The flavor needed just a little something extra to it to stand out. Nothing wrong with it, just kinda basic. The Thai tea was good, never can go wrong with those. Would come again if i was in the area.

My absolute favorite Pho spot! Always great service, the kind owner is always so helpful! I have had many pho spots all across LA , this is definitely the most consistent, tasty , and comforting bowl of pho you will ever have! I would give 10 stars if I could!

If I were to get banh xeo, could it be served with nuoc mam? Or do you only have peanut sauce available?

Yes! Just ask for the fish sauce instead :)

I wish more restaurants would do this. I stopped in for a quick bowl of their clear broth chicken ramen and it was seriously delicious: light, clean flavor but still really satisfying. Exactly what I wanted. I'm really not a huge fan of those heavy, creamy ramen broths that a lot of people rave about. I get the appeal but personally it just feels like artery clogging overkill for a few minutes of flavor that disappears way too fast. I much prefer a lighter, cleaner broth that you can actually enjoy without feeling weighed down afterward. They also have this matcha ramen that's limited to only 12 bowls a day which immediately caught my attention. It looked really interesting and now I'm curious enough that I'll definitely be back to try it. New favorite ramen spot in LA unlocked!

They have a small parking lot shared among many businesses if you drive over. We were warmly greeted and service was excellent throughout the entire meal. Their Karage was so juicy & plump, cut into slices rather than the nuggets you usually see. It was so incredibly delicious with tartar sauce & a chili oil served to compliment it. What makes Laki Ramen special is their Chicken Paitan/Baitang style ramen, which is rich & creamy and more importantly chicken-based. You usually only see pork-based ramens so this is a welcome change and I love having a speciality shop like this in Los Angeles. It left me feeling less heavy than with donkatsu ramens and has a few thinly sliced chicken pieces on top. I went with the Matcha Ramen which they only serve 10 of each day! But wow, was it nice and I absolutely loved it. Not to mention, the color was so pretty haha! I couldn't resist getting their Matcha Lemonade, as well, and I loved it so matcha ! That matcha lemonade is quali-tea!!! We also tried Laki's Chicken Cutlet Curry and absolutely loved it. Again, cooked perfectly in a rich and flavor-filled curry sauce. Everything we had at Laki Ramen was delicious! We agreed we'll be back and are intrigued to try their Clam Chowder Ramen! Oh and their music was fire!!! Aaliyah, TLC and Tupac!? I was loving the late 90s R&B/hiphop vibes.

I started with the house made chili oil dumplings and they were unreal. The dumplings were perfectly cooked and the chili oil with black vinegar was so good I ended up using it on everything. The staff was incredibly kind and happily gave me extra sauce when I asked. The spicy beef noodle soup was the standout. The beef was insanely tender and the broth was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of heat. The noodles had great texture and held up well in the soup. I also tried the Chengdu zajiang noodle and loved it. The sauce had that numbing spice and deep flavor, and the egg on top made it even better. Every bite felt intentional and well executed. The pickled cucumbers deserve their own mention. Crunchy, tangy, and full of flavor, easily some of the best I have had, even better than Din Tai Fung. On top of all that, they offer great deals after 3pm with discounted noodles and half off beer. MIAN is easily one of the best noodle spots around and I would come back without hesitation.

It was a little before noon and there was only one party in the whole restaurant. We got seated right away and it was by the front window for everyone to see. The menu had a lot of options and priced like all other places or I'm just getting used to the prices these days. They did have a lunch special for $20 and you can get a small pho, and then some other choices and then a drink. I couldn't tell you what the other choices were because I didn't order it. The waitress was efficient and got the job done. She did get a little overwhelmed since after 1230pm, everyone decided to grab lunch. Here's what we ordered: lunch special with small bowl of beef pho, a beef banh mi and unsweetened black tea. The hubs said that his pho was decent, the flavor was simple and didn't have that deep rich flavoring like other pho bowls he has had. The banh mi had great bread and the filling was pretty flavorful. The black tea was good. I had the build your own pho because I have to have vegetable broth but I added in chicken meatballs and shrimp. The broth was pretty tasteless so I had to add in some hoisin sauce, and sriracha. There were other condiments but I was too lazy to grab it from the other table. That helped out with the soup. The chicken meatballs were questionable as in I wasn't sure if it was chicken. There were plenty of shrimp and they added pieces of chicken. The noodles had a nice chew to them. Overall the pho was okay but it didn't hit the pho craving/spot. We also ordered pork egg rolls and they were interesting. They weren't crunchy at all. It was a bit oily and at one point, I wasn't sure if a part of it was cooked. There was more other filling than meat. The nuoc mam tasted like watered down fish sauce. I guess I was so hungry that I didn't mind it. Overall, the food was just okay. Nothing exciting to report and unfortunately I wouldn't go back.

COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was eating my food in this establishment several months ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The underground parking lot for this establishment is located super close to the restaurant. Each 15 min is $2.75. However customers of Uovo can get 2 hours for free with validation. And 30 min after the 2 hour mark, you get charged $2. However, after that extra 30 min cushion, you will be charged the normal rates. As mentioned by a previous reviewer / good friend of mine, scan your ticket in order to re-enter the parking garage on the right hand side. Food: My friend and I ordered the Cheese and Truffle tasting menu. I have been eating at various Uovo locations, and this was my first time here at this location. I'm a massive sucker for authentic Italian food after visiting Italy back in 2023. This restaurant chain just hits the spot every time. I love how their noodles are flown in from Italy every day. Just an FYI, all pastas were cooked al dente, which was perfect. My friend and I both ordered a glass of white wine. The Pinot Grigio paired very well with the meal. It was light, crisp, and refreshing with notes of pear, apple, and citrus. To start off with, we received a plate of yellowtail crudo. This is an elegant, Japanese-Italian fusion appetizer featuring thinly sliced delicate and buttery soft raw yellowtail in a vibrant citrus and soy dressing. Next, we received the tagliatelle in truffle sauce. I'm a MASSIVE sucker for all things truffle related. I'm just sad that it wasn't truffle season, so we didn't get any real truffle shavings on this dish. Booooo! Jk. Despite not being in truffle season, this dish was top notch. This is a luxurious, rich, silky, mouth watering, and deeply earthy Italian pasta dish. The sauce combines quality heavy cream, freshly grated Parmesan, and black truffle oil. Hands down my favorite dish here at Uovo. Moreover, we next received our pomodoro dish. The dish is exceptionally delicious, which a bright, high-quality tomato sauce. A classic Italian dish that you can't go wrong with ordering. To add on, we then got the classic carbonara. With crispy pork, a velvety and smooth sauce, and a punch of black pepper, this carbonara pasta was a rich, creamy, and a belly satisfying dish. Lastly, we ended our night sharing a tiramisu. It is served in a glass and featuring silky mascarpone, espresso, and a unique hazelnut twist. The portion is designed to be shared in a single cup. A perfect way to end a 10/10 meal. Staff: Karl and Ronaldo are both very attentive, kind, friendly, and helpful. They accept credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

The prices of these dishes were also very reasonable (only around $20), which is sooo much better than a lot of other Italian places around LA that serve much more lackluster food. I also must emphasize that the service at this location is impeccable! The servers and chef were all super kind to seat us so late and still give us such delicious food. They even said they could prep the tasting menu for us, but we didn't want to make them go through a 45-minute service at the end of the night.
