Had about 20 minutes before my movie, so I figured Chinese fast food would be the quickest option. Plus the logo caught my attention. I ordered the 2-item combo. One thing to know: the menu says "starts at $12.75," but that's only the base price. The final cost depends on which items you pick, and I couldn't find extra prices listed next to each dish. So you're basically finding out the total at the register. Food was okay at best. The chicken had really thick skin and honestly reminded me more of rotisserie chicken from store. The beef and broccoli was mostly broccoli with just a few tiny slices of beef mixed in. Rice was fine. The surprise favorite was actually the sugar-free mango drink. That was easily the best part of the meal. The payment screen also had pre-selected tip options. I really don't like when the tip is already selected on the screen especcially with prepaid food. It feels pushy instead of appreciative. I get that operating inside the Farmers Market probably isn't cheap, but I still think customers deserve more. This was so good in the Farmer's Market at the Grove. I'm happy to see more Chinese food around this area. I enjoyed the three item combo because I can try a variety and it is so affordable. The orange chicken is tasty. I also like the sweet and sour pork ribs with tender meat. The beef dumplings were crispy too. The à la carte option was a good portion too. There were pork soup dumplings that had a good amount of soup inside. Service was quick. I had to find a table further away from the store since a lot of seats nearby were taken. They have trays so it is easy to move the food. They have lots of tasty options for a good value ! read more

We came to Oh My Dumpling after spending the morning at the Petersen Automotive Museum. I originally found this place because someone on Instagram posted a review, and I am really glad we followed through. This was our first time at the Farmers Market and I had no idea this spot even existed. Parking in this area is rough. Traffic moves slowly, there are tons of stores, and tons of people trying to get to those stores. It is a slow crawl getting in and out. Once we were parked, the total ended up being fourteen dollars for the whole visit, which felt reasonable for Los Angeles. Oh My Dumpling is tucked in the back near the bathrooms. If you need help finding it, look for Bennett's Ice Cream because it is right next to it. The food was exactly what we hoped for. The dumplings are simple pan fried dumplings with a juicy, flavorful meat filling. They have combos where you can add rice, noodles, chicken and broccoli, or other sides. You can order dumplings on their own or as part of a full plate. Between the three of us, we tried a few different things. One plate had sesame chicken over steamed rice with a dumpling on the side. The chicken was glossy, sweet, and had that classic takeout style flavor. Another plate had chow mein with cabbage and carrots along with fried dumplings and egg rolls. We also had a beef and broccoli combo with rice and dumplings. The beef was tender and the sauce soaked perfectly into the rice. Everything tasted fresh and comforting. For three people, the total was sixty five dollars. The portions were solid and the quality matched the price. My daughters loved it and I did too. This is one of those places where you finish eating and immediately think about coming back. If you are already at The Grove or the Petersen, or you just want a casual and delicious meal inside a classic Los Angeles landmark, Oh My Dumpling is worth the stop. Oh My Dumpling has just opened at the Farmers Market in Stall 744 and that stall is iconic in Asian history in LA. It's only been home to family-owned Chinese food spots since the 1940s! That's wild and amazing and I just truly love Los Angeles. The team behind Noodle Art (opened in 2024) brings this second location under their umbrella to Farmers Market and I fully support more Asian eat options. I've now had their eats three times so had a pretty good variety of items and it's a solid option at Farmers Market. I will say, I was sad when I went on Friday night at 845pm and they were already covered up & closed, because the Market closes at 9pm. I am curious if they close at 8pm! Need to plan my post-movie pickup eats accordingly. That aside, Oh My Dumpling is a fast food American Chinese spot with a nice hot table setup full of a lot of options that all look great. They do 1, 2 or 3 item combos with the 2 item running you $12.55 currently but beef, shrimp & chow mein will up your price a bit. I love their orange chicken and have had it a couple times now. All their Chinese-American deep fried meats are nice and crispy but I noticed with both the Orange Chicken and especially the Sweet & Sour Chicken they are much sweeter than I've had before. It's not a bad thing necessarily, just different than the norm. Their "Juicy Pork Dumplings" are $7 for 4 in a basket and these Xiao Long Bao are so soft with great flavor! Loved them. I'm really happy this option has opened at Famers Market! I absolutely will be back to try more on the menu - my eye is on the eggrolls next - once I get a handle on their hours. read more

SPRING ROLL 7/10: My mother got the spring roll and she gave it a 7/10. She said that the flavor was good, it was a standard egg roll, but that it was unfortunately on the greasier side. The price was a little bit over a dollar and it came with a complimentary sauce. SOUP DUMPLINGS: I got the soup dumplings again and I was to reiterate, these are so so good. I have noticed that every time I go, everyone gets them and I definitely suggest coming here for them! read more

Ordered a 2-item plate. When it comes to Chinese fast food you have the small chain or hole in the wall shops that load on so much food that they can't close the container. Then you have Panda Express where they are very precise in their portions and it is just about right (wish they gave a little more, but that's just me). Then you have this place where they give you too little. The chow mein left a sizeable gap in its section of the container and each of the two items were the smallest penny pinching scoops I have seen at a fast food Chinese place. I had to ask for a little more each time and the gentlemen constantly said he needs to charge for more and I had to respond saying that I'm not asking for more, I'm just asking for not less than it should be. It got so ridiculous to the point where the lady had to come from behind and add to the plate because of all the open space in the container. The pricing is weird here too. The 2-item combo has a listed price on the menu, but that is just the starting point and your final price is basically an item by item charge roulette. First time seeing that kind of system. And no prices anywhere near the item names so you pay what's charged at the end. If the taste was more than middle of the road, then all this extreme portion control and opaque pricing would be acceptable, but this was so average that I wouldn't recommend coming here to a friend. read more

I got the spring rolls, this is my favorite food so I had to try it out. The service was quick, I asked for just the spring rolls and I could skip the line- they were 3 for $5.50, pretty standard. They didn't give me a ton of sauce it was about halfway full, a little sad as I really love the sweet and sour sauce. The actual area is a cute in the corner Asian place, and the actual area is quite beautiful with lots of seating.
