If I choose 10% and the service is excellent, I may feel like I should have tipped more. If I choose 20% and the service is poor, I feel like I've overpaid. Ironically, this system makes me more likely to choose a conservative tip every time. I'd much rather have the option to tip after the service is provided, when I can actually evaluate the experience. My recommendation: keep the QR ordering if you want, but move the tipping option to the end of the meal, after the service has been provided. That would make tipping feel more fair and meaningful.
