The best restaurant in Delray. Everything was TOP-NOTCH. Even from just making reservations with my numerous changes they were so accommodating and never annoyed. I had never had the pleasure of eating here before but others in my party had. I was so pleasantly surprised! My husband and I got there early and sat at the bar and immediately the service was incredible. Louie and "the boss" at the bar were fun and started the night out great with jokes and drinks. We were a party of 15 but they had no issues at all accommodating us. We laughed and even danced...(on the bar at one point). Some of our group is from Italy. We all like to have the most fun we have anywhere so this took an ordinary dinner to a full night out of music, dancing, shots...we never expected this all. THE FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE!!! Veal Chop, branzino, Braciola, Pasta in the wheel... I could go on and on. everything was fresh & delicious- they even threw in this amazing melted cheese with truffle. OMG. Heaven!! To top the night off as if we didn't have enough with the limoncello shots and all the fun we had at the table with our server LOUIE, they kept the restaurant open and we moved the party to the bar!! This was super tarte and not very strong. We started with the calamari. My dad and sister both agreed that this batch was not as good as usual. The calamari was super soft and not chewy but tasted fishy and no flavor in the batter. I ordered the chicken parm which does not come with pasta, so I ordered a side pasta with the dish. The food was good, but the sauce was on the sweet side, and I am not into the sweet red sauces. My sister ordered the fettuccine alfredo. She gets this each time, and she said it was good. I can't remember which dish my dad ordered, but he said it was ok. The Tiramisu was good. Which I don't like this kind of dessert, but I think it was actually good. My sister says they make it in house... I am not 100% sure on that fact, but that is what she said. My cons were the calamari and the service. Service was slow because of a HUGE party in the next room. Trying to get something was hard. Then two waitresses came to take our order... but we already ate haha. Just odd. read more

I had THE BEST birthday dinner here with family. We had eaten here before during happy hour and made friends with one of the bartenders who made our experience so memorable that we had to come back. Unfortunately, the service the second time around was not great. We had many different people waiting on our table and didn't know who the main server was, but it seemed like he was training a few people who were new to the restaurant biz. They clumsily took our plates, reaching over us or clearing things that we were still eating, overfilled our waters, and were not very knowledgeable about the menu. I would've knocked a star off for all that, but the food here is so consistently good that I let it go. If you want authentic Italian food and wine, then Le Sorelle is your best bet. The whole menu is in Italian and full of many dishes I had never heard of, as well as Italian wines I had never tried. The owner, one of three Italian sisters, came by and personally recommended a bottle which we ordered and enjoyed with our meals. Decor is nice with an inviting atmosphere, but I did laugh at the odd choice in music that took away from the authentic Italian experience we were having. A hodge podge of early 2000s Britney Spears pop, 90s RnB, and house music were some of the things that stood out on the playlist. Back to the food. The calamari is crispy without being greasy or over cooked, as are the fried vegetables that come with it. The mussels in white wine sauce were so good, not a drop of the sauce was left. The pizza frutti de mare is not really an appetizer but we ate it like it was one. Comes with so much seafood on each slice and the crust is thin and soft and crunchy all at the same time. The pasta is all handmade and you can really taste the difference. Best part of the meal was the epic birthday celebration. House music and dim lights set the entrance for the server bringing out dessert lit with sparklers, and I was made to feel like a queen with the beautiful heavy crown they placed on my head while everyone sang. Okay let me be upfront and state my review is based on the value not the food. In our travels in South Florida we have hit some really good restaurants. During this trip there were some gems that cost significantly less than Le Sorelle. Now the food was very good. We had branzino and lobster fettuccini. Both were outstanding and the service was great. Multiple staff servicing the table. This restaurant has a lot of passion around their food. The wine selection was good but had approximately a 3x multiple which is more than we experienced at other restaurants. read more

Confusing and Awkward. Dined here on a Saturday night, and while the food was enjoyable, the atmosphere was...strange. The good, the bad, and the weird, below. First impressions are important, especially in an area as saturated with options as Delray. From the moment we walked in: confusion abound. The host/hostess was nowhere insight. For at least 5-10 minutes, we stood waiting to be greeted, without even a glimpse from someone other than the gentleman singing Sinatra tunes at the front of the house. Eventually, we found the hostess and we were seated. The menu had a few interesting selections, but also a lot of standard southern Italian fare. Ordered a bottle of wine, and decided on the Fiocchetti for my entrée. While waiting for our orders to arrive, that's when the ambiance started to deteriorate. Apparently, it is customary at this restaurant to conduct an elaborate and loud performance for: (a) anyone celebrating a birthday, and (b) anyone ordering the pasta entrées served from a cheese wheel. While I understand the birthday ritual, the cheese wheel celebration was a bit unexpected.... and frequent, since it seems many patrons were drawn to that option. But I certainly wasn't the only individual on the dining floor that felt this was way over the top. Almost every time this would occur, my eyes would meet with at least one other diner and we each acknowledged the awkwardness with a cringe and chuckle. My fiochetti was a pleasant dish, with a nice balance of sweetness from the pear, cream, and wine. The blend of cheeses worked very well together, and the preparation of the fiochetti was delicate but still slightly al dente. Sadly, what could have been an enjoyable dining experience, was misshaped by the *extremely* loud music (ie could not converse across the table without almost yelling) and the strange circus of extravagance and drama that surrounded birthdays and anyone who ordered the pasta via cheese wheel. I'd return, if I knew that I could avoid the show that came gratis with dinner. read more

After reading the other reviews on here we were very disappointed with our experince. The food was ok but seemed overpriced for what it was. Service wasn't good. Restaurant was fairly emply but Staff focused on a few regular culstomers and seemed aloof and uninterested in our table. But the restaurant overall seems very dated. Biggest issue was they had an 80 year old lounge singer with a karaoke machine that was really not enjoyable. He spent the whole evening singing songs from the 1970s and 80s totally overtaking the entire restaurant. Unfortunately he started shortly after we ordered but if we walked in while he was singing we would have left. I really find it hard to believe that anyone would think think it was a good idea to bring customers in? To be certain, this restaurant is for someone and I am most certainly not that someone. Imagine a nursing home filled with former members of Studio 54's VIP list from 1977... Pros: - the food was well executed for what it was and they appear to use quality ingredients. - The staff were friendly. Cons: -Food is overpriced by 20-25%. None of it is highly technical, it's mostly simple southern Italian fair. The items are unimaginative and uninteresting. - Wine list is mediocre at best with some real duds but they price it as though it isn't. - The ambiance is more annoying than a ChuckieCheese. You at least know to avoid a ChuckieCheese! Every five minuets the staff was bouncing around and singing because it's a birthday, someone ordered a flaming cheese wheel, someone stood up. It was absurd. Added to that chaos was a weird entertainment lineup consisting of current pop music turned up too loud, but not loud enough to drown out the old man that was wandering around sort of singing. I've been to Le Sorelle about 4 times over the last year, as I live nearby in walking distance. I've had amazing pizza there and some delicious homemade pasta dishes. They have a good wine list. Le Sorelle also feels very authentically Italian. Last time I visited I was disappointed. I had the Strozzapreti al l'Amatriciana and the bits of bacon were too hard. My girlfriend had the chicken Parmesan, a huge full plate of it. It was good, but it needed to be accompanied by pasta or a hardy green vegetable, something. I don't remember if we were offered sides, but we could have used some to accompany our dishes. And I hate saying this, but their cheesy night club singer was...just awful. I would have paid him to stop. If it hadn't been for my latest visit, I would give Le Sorelle 5/5 stars. read more

Overpriced, overcrowded, extremely uncomfortable atmosphere. I don't think I recall going to a place that made me feel this uncomfortable even before COVID-19 happened. I had the pleasure of going to a bar nearby in Delray and looked for a place to go after. We saw the two items we ordered on a Yelp review and we saw the listed pricing and we were all for it. When we arrive, we mention that we want a table for two and we are seated promptly. We were literally seated in a table somewhat stuck in between two others. In order for one of us to move, the tables adjacent to us had to move their chairs. Absolutely unreal. People were converging in the restaurant from table to table as if it was an open bar format and they all knew each other. One guy (customer) came over from one table, stood next to mine and had a conversation with the table behind mine and engaged me in conversation as well and patted me on the shoulder. Nothing was being done to control said scenario so I assume this is business as usual here. The music was all 90s and 80s, including things like Macarena, and people were dancing as if the space between tables was a dance floor. The owner and management were joining them on occasion so this is clearly encouraged, especially with their DJ/MC walking around and singing on the mic. The food? Blasé at best. The presentation for the truffle fettuccine was good since the waiter came over and grated it fresh on top, and the pasta texture on both made it seem home made. The cacio e pepe was done in the kitchen and not with the wheel on the table, which made me sad. No drinks, nothing else. The bill? $105. And that was with it being a special. The pricing we saw on Yelp was completely different and we felt like we got had. If you want to eat while feeling as if you were in a COVID incubator, this is your place. Never going to return. EDIT: In response to the reply below - I said the tables were very packed together. Specifically the areas surrounding the walls. The main walkway was functioning as a dance floor and people had to bump me on the way to try and get up. I tried Le Sorelle for the first time this past Saturday night. My siblings and I didn't make a reservation and the restaurant was PACKED. The host was kind enough to accommodate us at the bar by the kitchen. We enjoyed chatting with and watching Chef Omar make many of the delicious items on the menu! Omar was so kind and friendly and made our dinner unforgettable!! We ordered the chicken parm, eggplant parm and a pasta dish. Everything was fantastic! One of the best chicken parm's I've ever tried and the portions are extremely generous. The bracioles we kept seeing cook in the wood burning oven also looked fantastic, perfectly seared.
