I ordered three soups from Le Thai and asked for them to be made vegan--they absolutely delivered! The flavors were rich, balanced, and satisfying without needing any animal products. I want to give the bartender 10 stars because he was so nice and accommodating. The girl with long dark hair who was at the front is why I'm reviewing in hopes the manager see's this and re-trains her. We walked in Sunday around 11:00 am. It was already pretty hot. She said it would be a little bit even though there was a table open, (which she sat 10 minutes after we sat at the bar to other people). She says you can wait outside. Outiside in the heat with zero shade even though the bar area was dead. My husband looked at her and said I think we'll wait inside. I have zero patience for people who have no customer service skills. Why on earth would you tell your customers to wait outside in the Vegas heat. This place is great! I came here with my boyfriend and his family because they're hosting a foreign exchange student from Thailand. The waitress was very kind. She and the foreign exchange student talked to each other a bit at the end of our visit. This restaurant takes reservations. We had about a 30 minute waiting period before we could be seated so we explored Fremont Street a bit before returning for lunch. The food here was very flavorful. I ordered the Pad See Ewe. This place is a gem. If you love Thai food this is a must try. It was pretty busy on a Friday night and we had about an hour wait before being seated but it ended up being a little shorter than that. The staff were very friendly and helpful and letting us know what dishes were the most popular. We ordered the short rib fried rice with a fried egg on top (spice level 2), drunken noodles (spice level 3) and egg rolls. Our server explained that a spice level 3 was like eating a raw jalapeño and she was spot on. The spring rolls were crispy and crunchy and the sweet and sour dipping sauce was so good. Perfect balance of sweet and vinegar flavors. The short rib fried rice was absolutely delicious. One of the best fried rice dishes I've had. The over easy egg was perfect on top which was also recommended we add by our server. Definitely a great call there. The drunken noodles were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. With the 3 spice level they had a perfect level of heat to them. The place inside was very cute and had great ambiance inside. Nice place but you need a mask to enter. We were recommended to Le Thai because it had good food and and an interesting interior. Unfortunately we weren't allowed inside and having left or masks behind we we forced to order take out and eat it in the outside patio. I ordered the 3 Color Curry and my son asked for the Short Rib Fried Rice. Both dishes tasted great but something is removed when you have to eat it street side in plastic containers. Service was welcoming & timely. I ate at the bar area. They also have a small outside dining area. They have happy hour from 3-6 that includes food & drinks. Both dishes were delicious. Ingredients tasted fresh, plenty of flavor & spice. You can pick from 1-5 on spice level. They also have spices at the table if you'd like to add your own. Back again at one of my favorite spots. Decided to try a few things from the specials board, instead of my normal go to plates and a couple of things I haven't had in awhile. Started with the crispy spring rolls and beef satay. The beef satay is on special here but regularly available at their Charleston location. Hoping they make this a regular item here too. The beef is so tender, juicy, and tasty all on its own... But dipping it in the waterfall sauce takes it to a whole other level. The crunchy spring rolls are satisfyingly crispy and a great appetizer to share. The awesome noodles were just as amazing as I remembered them, with fresh veggies and perfectly cooked noodles. The ube crème brûlée was a surprise because I honestly didn't think crème brûlée could get any better but leave it to Le Thai to make this dessert extra memorable and a spectacular finish to my meal! read more

Honestly so happy I decided to give this place a try! I was craving Thai food AND dessert. So when I found this gem on Yelp I decided to give it a try. It was a short 15 minute walk from my hotel in Vegas & the reviews were great. The restaurant is easy to locate on a strip of other restaurants and bars. The inside is small, but clean and inviting. When I arrived I asked someone seated outside if they enjoyed their food and got a mixed review which made me reallyyy nervous, but I decided to trust my fellow Yelpies instead and I'm glad I did. I ordered to go at the bar with the bartender Manuel and he was so kind and efficient. When I was undecided about what I wanted to order and mentioned the short rib fried rice caught my attention, he immediately told me it was a great option, so that's what I went with along with mango sticky rice for dessert! He also offered me water while I sat and waited which was very thoughtful. It did take a bit of time to get my food as the person sitting next to me at the bar arrived after me and got their food (same dish) before me, but they could have a priority order for how they make their food, so no biggie. I walked back to my hotel salivating and ready to dig in. The food was a solid 9.5/10. The only two complaints I have are that there were fatty pieces of the short rib in the rice and texture wise that threw me off. But once I recognized what it was I was able to remove the other pieces from dish. The mango sticky rice was delicious, but I wish the rice was a bit more moist and that they gave more of the coconut sauce. I believe the ratio of rice to sauce was definitely off. Overall, I'd still highly recommend and can't wait to be back in Vegas (can't believe I'm saying that) to try them out again! The price point is also (kind of) high. Thought we would give this thai joint a try....so my buddy and I ordered the chicken sate, ga pow( medium)and the pad thai( medium). We both have had enough Thai to know what's decent. The sate was ok, but considering the price...didn't have enough sauce and cucumber salad. The pad thai served was a pile of salty wet overcooked something that didn't deserve to be called Thailand's famous dish. The ga pow was also very salty, mushy and not very appetizing. Even with rice, we couldn't get ourselves to finish even half. It was very obvious to the staff the meal was subpar to us, but they did not bother asking us why. If you are starving before or after the nearby clubs then i guess you won't care about a meal here. There's got to be better food nearby. read more

Delicious Thai in downtown Las Vegas near Fremont Street. We had a great waiter in Jordan who was helpful, attentive and wanted us to be satisfied. While the main entrees and desert were very good the pork belly bacon stole the show. It had an amazing crust (dry rub esque) and was soft and crunchy. The tamarind dipping sauce was sour and sweet and complemented the pork belly bacon oh so well. Both of the main dishes were ordered at 2 out of 5 in terms of heat. 3 is where they label it hot and 2 had more than enough spice for my wife and I. For mains the short rib fried rice was our first choice. It was spiced well and the short rib is plentiful in chunks easy to eat but not too big or small. The yellow curry came with potatoes, carrots and onions. We added shrimp and that complemented the curry very well. They offer several beers and the Chang cut through the spice and heat of the food very well. I also tried a smoked old fashioned with smoke wagon bourbon from Las Vegas. It was a great blend and definitely something I'd drink again. Le Thai for the win! read more
