We were looking for something close by our hotel in downtown Vegas area. The GF found this place given she knows I love spicy food we decided to walk there. It was less than a mile away from our hotel. This restaurant looked very Nashville style architectural on the outside. Walked in it's more so the hipster vibe with hanging cool lights. GF ordered for us, appetizer-pork belly bacon $11, pad kee mow noodles with chicken $15, papaya salad with shrimp $11 and sticky rice $4. We also ordered a cocktail but don't remember how much that was and lemonade which had free refilled $3.50. I thought everything was delicious and had the right amount of spice with flavors but it could had been spicier. Waitress was attentive and helpful. Last time we come the food was great I wait all day to order so that I could be disappointed. I order my food on the phone for pick up they said 25 min I got there like 10 min early my food was already ready I order the mild Thai oxtail beef and meatball noodle soap, spring roll my husband got the chicken garlic fry rice. First when we got to the hotel there was no spoons forks or napkins really how are we gonna eat the food the soup was not hot and so oily and not even spicy or any flavor just oily I didn't even finished it The spring rolls were so oily as well I know they're fry come on after eating it I had heartburn just burping the oily food my husband liked his food but was not hot so disappointing never again. I was in town for a few days for a two day concert on Fremont and caught the smell coming from Le Thai on the walk home after night one. The smell alone was enough to make us commit to coming by for dinner before night two and we were not disappointed. We sat at the bar and Manny took phenomenal care of us. He was warm, welcoming, and the perfect amount of suggestive when it came to cocktails and the food menu. We ordered a whiskey sour, and Manny was great with a suggestion of using a Japanese whiskey and dried ginger. I ordered the short rib fried rice with Manny's tip of adding a fried egg and toasted garlic and was blown away. The Pad Thai and pork belly appetizer were equally as delicious. The entire time we were sitting at the bar we were welcomed, taken care of, and excited for the next bite. This was easily the best meal we had in Vegas and I know we're not alone because as we were closing our tab, a couple sat at the bar and said they were returning on vacation after eating there a year ago (and also remembered Manny!). Was quoted 45 minutes, went next door for a beer and got a text in 10 that our table was ready. We got our beer to go and rushed over but they were so accommodating in letting us finish our drink and saved our table. Which was very nice. We sat at the bar and chatted it up with the bartender. We ordered the short rib fried rice, spring rolls and Chicken pad thai. It was delicious! And came out in 15 minutes. Price was reasonable and the bathrooms were clean. I'm so happy I watched a tiktok that recommended this place! I absolutely love Thai food and was excited to try it. We ordered the pork Jerky for our app and it was soo good, I was tempted to order a second! For my meal, I got the lunch special, green chicken curry and I order this everytime I'm at a Thai restaurant. This dish was underwhelming and I really wanted to like it, but I've definitely had better. My friend ordered the GA pow lunch special with chicken and OMG, it was so good! I never had it before and it might be my new dish I order at Thai restaurants. The service was great even though it was packed for lunch. The lady running the food was so nice and attentive. I highly recommend coming here, I would definitely come back if I was here in Vegas longer. I got the Pad Kee Mow, always my top pick and they KILLED IT! This place is DELICIOUS. Honestly one of the best Thai food spots I have been too. Food is very authentic and has great flavor. Portion sizes are pretty good as well. Me and my family came around 6:30pm on a Saturday Night and it was busy, but the staff were super friendly and very attentive and accommodating when it came to seating. For drinks we ordered the Spiked Thai Ice Tea and the Blooming Basil. Drinks were good! We ordered the green curry, waterfall beef, honey garlic wings, papaya salad, larb, short rib fried rice, and 3 color curry for our apps and entrees and we devoured all of it. We are all from the Bay Area and have had great Thai food but we all agreed this is one of our top 5, even some of the best spots we've been to. For dessert we got all 3, the fried banana with coconut ice cream, roti, and the mango sticky rice and all 3 were delicious as well. I do love that they have added VG - vegan and VGO - vegan option available to their menu so I just know what my options are as a vegan. I think this is my first Yelp review, or at least among the first. Congratulations Le Thai! You're the first of many local Vegas restaurants I'll be yammering about. For reference, Le Thai is extra-local for me. It's in walking distance, in downtown Vegas, firmly in the "Fremont East" district. For those who don't know, this lovely patch of Sin City lies, well, EAST of the overstimulating lights, drunken revelry, and semi-nude "circle performers" of the Fremont Experience. Regardless, Fremont East is still a busy, lively bar/club/restaurant scene on a weekend night. It's a fun area to live in, and Le Thai adds to that as one of my favorite places on this most fun and colorful of party streets. Anyway, I've been to Le Thai probably a good 9 or 10 times before today. The place is clean, with not-overstated Thai decor, and an inviting, sturdy bar with consistently friendly staff. The music is usually indie pop type music you'd hear at Life is Beautiful, which happens in the neighborhood. :) I've never ordered mix drinks there, (usually Sappporo or Tsingtao) but today I got Thai Iced Tea, another favorite of mine: Delicious. Not the BEST Thai iced tea I've had, (I'll review that place later,) but a solid 7.5/10; refreshing, sweet, caffinated. Fun to look at and stir, what's not to like! For food, (this was lunch by the way) I got the red chicken curry, one of my 2 go-tos. (The other being duck curry.) With white rice. Le Thai doesn't serve the curries very spicy, (I like them "just starting to get flaming and make you sweat a bit hot", at least by white guy standards,) but, they're always happy to give you the spice rack to add more ground and sliced peppers and Sriacha as your masochistic stomach desires. (They're all delicious, just hot.) The chicken was a delicious texture, as was the rice. I got the spice level just how I wanted it. Ate with chop sticks, as I like to do. Great mix of flavors, over soft, pillowy rice, all mixed together with the vegetables. Yum. Not sure how to end a review, I'm new at this, but go try Le Thai next time you're on Fremont! Good prices, friendly staff, good food, and it's a good place if someone in your group is new/unsure about Thai or generally spicy food; lots of non-spicy options too. read more

We have wanted to try this place all week and finally did it last night. Very small restaurant so we would have had to wait an hour. We opted to sit outside in their outdoor patio. Tables were very clean and they use the easy touch less menu that you scan to your phone. Our waitress was fantastic and accommodating. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and mad a few recommendations. We had the Crab Lagoon and Thai Jerky for appetizers. The crab Lagoon was good snd the sauce amazing however, the Thai Jerky was my favorite! Exploding with flavor! I had Panang Curry with Chicken. It was made fresh and very good!
