Once you have your stuff, you got the locker room (shoes off) to get changed~ you can either go for the pools and the wet saunas etc or go upstairs on the shirt/shorts to enjoy the heated rooms. I hit the second floor first and spent a good 30 minutes relaxing and sweating it out. There are three heated rooms and one cold room. After that, I headed downstairs to enjoy a good rinse before heading into the heated pool. There was only one heated pool and one cool pool. There were plenty of areas to sit and bathe or stand and shower. This is also the area you can book services for body scrubs etc. there are also a couple of saunas in this area. The pool shower areas also have plastic baskets to hold your stuff, as well as complimentary toothbrushes, toothpaste, and razors. Each shower or bathing section also has complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The locker room has lockers where you can store your stuff with your assigned locker number. There are also areas to get read with hair dryers and qtips and lotion. Overall, a lovely experience and hope to come back.

No notice that they were closing and the photo shows they are relocating. We have emailed them 4X a no replies. We are considering taking legal action but are waiting a little bit longer. I can't imagine they are really relocating and not expecting their entire clientele to not be furious with the silent treatment.

The feeling of comfort and serenity is abundant the moment you walk in. They greet you by name when you arrive and again when you leave. The lobby is small but very welcoming. They offer plenty of products for purchase, but they never hard-sell you. When you check in, there is a small waiting area where you can sit with hot tea, water, and small snacks while you wait. Please make sure to turn off your cell phone--this is a quiet zone, so whispering or no talking is encouraged. The dim lighting really makes you feel like you've stepped into another world. There is also another waiting area in the back if you need to change into a robe for your service. There is actually a lot of space back there to relax while waiting. The treatment rooms themselves are warm and comfortable, and each room has a closet for your personal items. In the back area, they also have changing spaces and lockers. There are two changing areas, along with a room that has chairs specifically for foot and neck massages. I highly, highly, highly recommend the foot massage. They take it to the next level because they start with your neck and arms before moving to the foot massage. I dare you to try not to fall asleep by the time they're done. I have seen the spa when they are busy and when they are slow, and I have never seen it dirty or unkempt. The level of cleanliness and the standards maintained by the staff have always been excellent. I've never had trouble booking an appointment. I've also given gift certificates to family members and friends, and three people I know now go there regularly because of those gifts. Their prices are by far some of the best in the industry. You simply cannot find a facial at the price they offer at RA. I've looked, and I can't find anything comparable. If you want a facial, I highly highly recommend Maria. She has truly turned back time on my skin with the facials she gives me. She listens to your needs and walks you through the products she uses to make sure they match what your skin needs and what you're looking for. She genuinely cares. Under new management, they have recently added online booking through their website, which is wonderful. I'm looking forward to another great 20 years going to RA--ugh, I just aged myself! worst massage in town. no lie…read more at least for my experience. i brought my girlfriend here for a couple massage for her birthday. 90 minute couples massage. first five minutes was mild at best. we had to ask them to massage with a little bit more effort. shortly after it was pure sharp elbows, digging into our backs from the weight of their bodies, which overhang above. they use gravity and their elbows in an effort to avoid actually expanding effort or using their muscles at all. i don't know about you, but that's not a massage to me. shortly after i looked over to my side to notice that the man that was massaging, my girlfriend was sitting down on the bed lightly massaging her upper back with no more than a few fingers contact. there was no effort or work there. just sitting lounging doing the absolute minimum contact possible. this was almost the same for me however, my masseuse, also using only one hand, would pause for many seconds at a time before exerting some pressure then again another break of many seconds before pressure again. she was systematically conserving energy and then applying the minimum level of pressure from one hand only. after a couple warnings, she finally started to get that. i am not gonna leave us alone and she started massaging more correctly. then excuse the man who was pretending to massage my girlfriend and replaced him with a woman that was massaging me. then they sent one man to massage me who was lazy and barely doing anything so let him go when they sent him them yet. another one who is doing the same thing. at about 45 minutes i finally told him to leave me alone and just continue with my girlfriend. i don't know how it's possible that others aren't reporting this more often, but i cannot speak on what i do not know but what i do know is if you are sore, tired, and just looking for some muscle, relief and relaxation and you expect some discernible level of quality and effort than do not come here. these people do not care at all about giving you a good experience and i gave them multiple chances they are lazy and do not care about their customers at least not for my girlfriend and i if you doubt me at all, please read my other reviews. i'm very honest in my reviews and i take great care to be fair. and i write these to help others. it certainly doesn't provide me any benefit other than that. thank you for reading and feel free to contact me if you'd like more information

The ULTRAfusion facial has transformed my skin and at 71 I was due for some transforming! I had had damaging deep laser treatments at other facilities and it was simply damaging my skin, not helping it. I kept thinking that stronger is better and I was wrong! I can honestly say that I don't recall when my skin has looked better. It is my goal to visit all the Southern CA locations; next stop is Sherman Oaks...see you there!

On top of that, the credit expires sooner than I expected. When I recently called to schedule my massage, I was told my credit had already expired. After being a loyal customer for many years, I was disappointed that no exception or courtesy credit was offered. A little goodwill toward a long-time member would have gone a long way. My advice to anyone considering canceling: use all of your credits before you end your membership. Otherwise, you may lose the member value you've already paid for. Sadly, this experience has left a sour impression, and I won't be returning.
