My experience with Ledo Pizza has always been good, but today it was exceptional. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs with cheesy bread, and everything was absolutely delicious. After placing my order, I called back to ask if I could get three extra meatballs since the meal comes with only three and I'm greedy LOL. I told the lady I didn't mind paying the extra charge. To my surprise, she replied, "Don't worry, I'll add the extra meatballs." That small act of kindness really made my day and showed excellent customer service. The food was fresh, flavorful, and arrived without any issues. I've also visited this Ledo Pizza location before, and the atmosphere is welcoming, relaxed, and comfortable. Great food, great service, and thoughtful employees keep me coming back. I will definitely order again and look forward to visiting this Ledo Pizza location on 38th Street in New York City. read more

Food (4/5) - menu has a good variety of pizzas, appetizers, salads, subs, calzones and pastas. - Mike's Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza - I prefer NYC style but this was not bad. Hot honey sauce was tasty. Crust wasn't crispy but guess that's the style. Service (4.5/5) - friendly and attentive. Got some background on Baltimore style pizza and history of Ledo. Ravioli was also good only when it was fresh and hot. It was not good cold. The old bay fried was also good. I had ordered the personal pizza and it was pretty good. The sauce on the pizza was good and it was almost like a thin crust so it wasn't a lot of bread. The chicken Alfredo pasta was a generous side but it was kinda bland. Ledo's has arrived in NYC and I'm here for it. This Maryland/Virginia based franchise of pizza does thin, square slices of some of the cheesiest pizza you will get. Their crust is so flavorful, and the sweet marinara sauce sends it over the top. This has only been open here since late August, but I'm already in love with it. I have eaten at other locations hundreds of times, and while this isn't anything like NY style pizza, it's so good. The location is good also - it's right near the Times Square area. It's a little bit off the path in what could be considered more sketchy, but the restaurant is bright, vibrant, and surprisingly a huge space! Prices are in line with other locations. Their stalls start at $11 and their larges are around $25. It's so good, and I really hope those of you reading this who live in New York will give it a chance as it is consistently and delicious. read more

I'm from Virginia but I've been living in NYC for about 9 years now. Ledo's was our go-to special event pizza when I was a kid. Bday party? Ledo's. Graduation? Ledo's. Playoff szn? Ledo's. Needless to say, I was ecstatic when I stumbled upon the NY location a little over a year ago. As someone who LOVES a good New York slice, Ledo's will always taste like home to me. It's just different!! Side note; as a picky eater who usually never eats crust on other pizzas, something about their light crispy crust is soooo good omg. Incomparable, truly. Also, just like back home, the service is *chefs kiss* they are so sweet at this location! Very down to earth and attentive. Never chaotic when I go. Kills me to write this, but something happened about 2-3 months ago. Prices went up while quality went down and there is a clear difference in overall proportions. I have ordered lunch from Ledo at least 2 times a week for almost 2 years now, but after giving them chance after chance the past few weeks, I have finally decided to move on. The entire front of house staff changed about 2-3 months ago, including the manager. I have had no issues with the new staff, they are very pleasant and if I hadn't gone there so much over the past few years I would not have noticed. BUT, I have to assume this is the reason why my once sacred Ledo has rapidly turned into just another pizza joint. Sad. read more

Mario Kart on one of the bar TVs and they handed me a controller to get a grand prix (or two) in while they cooked up a fresh pie. Oh yeah, the pie... A new welcome addition to the area! I found them on DoorDash, and I'm usually a skeptic about ordering from unfamiliar names on there since I've had some major fails, but I'm so glad I tried. I got an 8" build your own Ledo pizza with three toppings. It came to me hot and fresh. The crust was perfect and the toppings generous, and it was just an overall tasty pizza. They nearly packaged the napkins, red peppers and parmesan cheese together for delivery. This is the place I didn't know I needed, because I live alone and I don't want to order a giant pie for $30+ and have to be forced to eat it for days. Most places don't deliver by the slice, which limits my options. Ledo's doesn't seem to sell by the slice, but the 8" option is perfect for someone like me. Happy to have found this place! read more
