I'm not handy (one reason I prefer condo-living), so I completely depend on the expertise and quality craftsmanship of the contractors I select whenever I need work done. I told Judy I didn't have a lot of experience with plumbing, and I am very particular about everything--especially since I live on the 3rd floor (I really wanted to make sure everything would be perfect since I have 2 neighbors living below me)!!! Anyway, she assigned Joe (Jed) for my job, and I couldn't be happier!!! He took his time and explained everything in detail to me. He was very particular and thorough which I greatly appreciated. After a spending a short time with him, all of my worries about replacing my toilet went away! He even said with pride that installing toilets was his specialty, and I was so happy and thankful I found him! I could tell immediately that he knew what he was doing with expert precision that only years of experience brings. My bathtub was draining slowly, so he rodded that for me and now it works great! Joe was very careful in my home, clean and friendly. During the entire process, he made sure everything worked fine and was left clean after he finished. Yes they could within the hour! Sure enough they were there within 1/2 hour, even with the impending snowstorm. Armando and his crew were able to clean out the roots causing the issue and showed me (with camera) where the problem was and that soon the clay pipe would need to be replaced. They did a great job. My children's bathroom shower started leaking and I needed work done not only fast, but I wanted quality and AquaPro came to the rescue again. They replaced the shower valve, had a guy come out to fix the tile and came back to install spout and shower plate and handle 2 days after tile work. They do large excavation repairs for water and sewer as well and have very reasonable prices for all plumbing work; their prices are per job no matter how long it'll take, where others charge an hourly fee and sometimes purposely drag on to complete it. An hour or so after he left, I ran the water in the vanity sink and there was a noticeable leak. He said he would come back a few days later to take a look. He returned and tightened the connections. I again ran the water after he left, and again there was dripping under the drain so I asked him back again. He came back again and did some more tightening and said it should be ok now. I again ran the water after he left and there was still a drip. I then texted him saying that I would like a refund of $350 of the $1100 he charged because the pipes were still leaking and he had already claimed twice that the problem was fixed when it wasn't. He refused and then tried to gaslight me saying actually there was no leaking. So if you want a plumber who doesn't stand by his work, then this is the guy for you (My response to his comments): For the record, here is the text exchange between Brad and Me (and yes I did say "please consider giving me a refund because I don't want to give you bad reviews"--and that is a reasonable response on my part given that I received service that is below what the average person would expect [i.e. 3 visits by the plumber and the sink trap is still dripping]. (From Craig): Brad, The vanity is still leaking and I can't devote any more time to this project, therefore I am requesting a partial refund of the money you charged me. I think a $350 refund would be reasonable. Craig (From Brad): I disagree, the last 2 times I came over there wasn't even a leak. I have gone beyond being reasonable and in reality I should be paid for 2 service calls. (From Craig): Many would ask for a larger if not full refund under these circumstances. I just had Nick come out to troubleshoot a water heater repair caused by a leak from a saddle valve…read moreabove my furnace heading to my furnace humidifier causing the pilot light to go out to to the pooling water and moisture at the base of the unit. The service team was able to fit me in same day by putting me on standby. Nick was able to diagnose, stop the leak, inspect that the leak had done no further damage, and ultimately get the water heater working within 5 minutes of his arrival. Better yet, he said it was a simple fix and did not charge me, but just asked that I keep them at the top of my list for my next job! Very friendly and presentable all the way. He also assessed my heater and said I probably had about another two years to go before needing to replace, and gave me a written quote for a new water heater and to replace the saddle valve with an angle stop. The angle stop cost was a bit high, but the water heater replacement was very reasonable (just being fair). I am definitely going to reach out to them for my next plumbing job.
