Amazing highly recommended. Beef Stew - the broth is phenomenal, slightly spicy though which is fine for me but not my Russian mom who's not used to anything spicier than black pepper, for that reason I wish there was a 'mild spicy' notice by the option on the menu just as a forewarning. For me though, amazing. Downside to the stew is that the beef chuck that was used had minimal fat so it's all hard, dry muscle that takes a bit to chew. There's also no veggies or potatoes or anything, they expect you to use the included side order of rice or noodles as the add-in for the stew, I understand this design choice but still wish there were at least some green onions or something floating around to give some nice toothsomeness and healthy fiber to digest the (healthy) fatty stew. I've always liked Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches. It isn't the best, but Lee's Sandwiches has always been a place to get one relatively quickly for my fix. This location is fancier than other older locations with its menus and TVs. The prices are higher than other locations too. SPACE ** 2 big tables that seat 8 people each and another bench that seats 4 along the wall. Not an ideal location to dine in during lunch hours. FOOD *** My recent favorite has been the grilled pork. It used to be the special combination. Crispy pork belly is nice too, but can be a hit-or-miss. I like the number of sandwich choices this place provides. I must have been to this location more than 10 times. The food quality isn't always consistent. 2/3 of the time, the sandwich was pretty good, but the other third was below average. If it were more consistent, I'd give it 3.5 stars. TIP I almost always call ahead to order. It reduces some wait time and makes other customers jealous that I just pick up and go. Lol read more

My 6th time ordering Bahn Mi from this place for the past several weeks and they never once got my orders correctly. It's either missing an item or wrong order for the sandwiches. It is disappointing but I still eat them because I love Bahn Mi but I hope they can really work on it. Picking up order is pretty bustling and chaotic inside. It's all out of order and the cashier/staff there do not know which customer to serve first. I was there to pick up my mobile order and the customers that walked in later than I were all served before me. I came here with a friend for a late lunch. I've been to Lee's in San Jose and this was definitely more upscale than what I'm used to. The banh mi is more expensive than the South Bay but I'll take what I can get in Dublin. It's still cheaper than other sandwich chains so I'm not complaining. I ordered the Grilled Pork without cilantro and it came with pickled vegetables and mayo. I love how the pork wasn't too carcinogenic (black) and very flavorful. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I introduced my friend to Siracha potato chips along with banh mi and she's hooked! The lines can get long around lunchtime but if you come before 11:30 or after 1 you'll be sure to get a seat. read more

I ordered the Lemongrass Tofu Banh Mi, and while the tofu was so well marinated and piping hot, I wish I had more veggies in my sandwich. I was really missing the presence of pickled veggies and ended up with one too many mouthfuls of straight cilantro. All the ingredients, however, were really fresh including the bread. I can't seem to drive by this area without feeling the NEED for an ice blended signature coffee (basically a Vietnamese coffee frappuccino or should I say, suadaccino!). It is SOOO good! It is a perfect balance of creamy, milky, coffee and blended smoothly. It's not too strong. And it is even better with tapioca pearls. Please create a decaf version because I find myself wanting this during parts of the day where I really should not have coffee, but really want to drink this. I've been to many lees sandwiches location in the past since I lived in Southern Cali and now I'm back in the bay area. I really like their coffee, but sometimes when I purchase the large signature ice coffee I had to get ride of most of my ice because they added too much ice into the cup. My cup is about half empty without the ice after taking them out, so I felt a little robbed paying $7 with tax for only half the amount of coffee :(. My recommendation is adding maybe 1/3 of ice into the cups. Otherwise their service is good and food as well! read more

The staff was nice. My sandwich, not so nice. I ordered a euro style roast beef, and Swiss cheese sandwich on a croissant. I had to peel the top of my croissant off because it was hard as a rock. The lettuce was soggy, and my Swiss cheese was a generic, cheap white American cheese. I hate American cheese. I also ordered avocado as an extra, and it was cut into 4 block chunks and 2 were sitting on the side of the sandwich because they wouldn't stay on it. Saw this place on Door Dash and decided to try them out. I ordered a caramelized steak banh mi bowl, grilled & bbq pork banh mi and beef stew with a side of rice. Everything was priced very reasonably and the portions were good. This place reminds me of the type of place my grandma used to go and being home a bunch of sandwiches. The vermicelli bowl was standard and the veggies were fresh enough. The banh mi sandwich was good too, really big. I wish i liked the traditional combination one with the pate and all the other stuff. As a kid i loved them but once i found out what pate and head cheese were i just can't eat it, i bet this place has a good one. To be honest the quality of beef & pork they use isn't the best, but it wasn't that bad. The beef stew was too oily. It tastes good but just too much oil. The food was ready in less than 10 minutes which is good if you're in a rush. I've read a lot of mixed reviews of this place and overall I'd say this place is good for sandwiches and vermicelli bowls. I'm no bahn mi connoisseur but the sandwiches here make the cut for me. They're easy on the pocket and packed with flavor. I always add siracha to them anyway though ;) The Lee's Special, grilled chicken, grilled pork, Lee's combination and #23 are my favorites. A big upside is that it's open late so all my Friday lunches when I'm working from home are usually from here. This place is my go-to if I want some affordable, delicious food. Food places around Dublin are pretty expensive, but the Bahn mi sandwiches here are such a steal and absolutely delicious. My go-to is the #5 Grilled pork Bahn mi. The bread is crunchy on the outside, but fluffy on the inside. The grilled pork is savory and tender, and they really don't skimp on it either. The pickled carrots, cilantro, and cucumber cut down the oily-ness, so once you start eating you can't stop. Did I mention the portion sizes are also huge? Seriously, such a steal. They also sell baguettes by itself, so if you just want to store up on their delicious bread that's also a great option. Their Vietnamese iced coffee is also crazy delicious.
