This is my spot when I want some "banh mi" (Vietnamese sandwich). The male cashier is very nice and friendly. Breads are baked/rebaked to order. There are at least couple cookers at a time, so the wait is hardly ever more than 10' for sandwiches. I usually order chicken wings, number 4 chicken sandwich, number 5 Filipino pork sandwich, and number 2 pork roll with paté. My non-Asian friends love number 4 and 5. I personally like number 17 and number 2. Sandwiches always come warm. They bake/ rebake like that the bread is crunchy, but not too hard that it would scratch the inside of your mouth. They garnish sandwiches with cilantro, jalapeño, picked carrot and daikon. Their chicken wings are so good. They are spicy, crispy, and not overly breaded. I stop by this spot at least once a month to get my fix. It's the fresh baked bread....the smell just possess me till I fork over the cash. I've been coming here since before the pandemic, during and current... One thing you can count on is consistency here when it comes to flavor and quality. There is no secret magic sauce or some trendy pull about this particular bbq pork sandwich on a fresh baked french baguette filled with picked carrot's, onions, cilantro and bright green jalapenos but there is a deliciousness when it all comes together. The Iced coffee has more ice than anything but that helps water it down. Three sips and I'm zipping around like the Energizer bunny. At lunch time this place can get very busy so calling ahead can be a great time saver. They can get really busy so service can be really slow at times, ***don't judge them by the wait because it's usually one or two person team pulling everything off behind the scenes. Friendly employees, been here twice already. Love that they always wash their hands before prepping food. It drives me crazy when food handlers don't. Sandwiches are good, always get the number 1 combination sandwich. Only downside to this location is they give you barely any cilantro or jalapeños like literally none. My sandwich had 2 cilantros and like 3 jalapeños. I asked for more the second time but still less than the normal amount. Every time I order on postmates or on Uber eats they constantly get my order wrong or on multiple occasions they just cancel my order.
