I've been craving a good coffee ever since moving to New York, and after not being here in a few years, I was SO excited to finally stop in and try it! I'd heard all about their Biscoff Cookie Butter Latte and their banana coffee, so my brother-in-law and I decided to walk in and see what all the hype was about. And honestly... BOTH WERE FANTASTIC! I love how strong their coffee is, but the sweetness of the drinks really helps mellow it out without overpowering that delicious coffee flavor. 10/10 for the coffee! Lee's has really gone downhill. No wonder locations are closing left and right. I remember Lee's being a decent Banh Mi spot, although maybe it's just this location. We were in a pinch on our way to an Angels game and our usual Banh Mi shop had already closed. We figured Lee's would do the job. Boy, was that a mistake. We ordered the combo Banh Mi and it was terrible. The bread was extremely chewy and stale, making it difficult to eat. The meat portions were skimpy, the vegetables lacked freshness, and the overall sandwich was bland and disappointing. It tasted nothing like the flavorful, authentic Banh Mi I remember Lee's serving years ago. For the price, the quality simply wasn't there. There are far too many excellent Vietnamese sandwich shops in Orange County to settle for this. Unfortunately, this visit will be our last. I ourchased the #4 Grilled Chicken Banh Mi. Service was at first attentive but a little slow. The tables were quite dirty. They looked uncleaned...bits of food amd smears. The sandwich was subpar. A very solid Lee's Sandwich! The staff noticed I wanted pork only spring rolls and told me they could make that! They are super nice and sweet and it seems like they can make things custom. They even had vegan spring rolls. Iced coffee was soooooo good. Lots of ice which I think is great especially for Vietnamese coffee. There is a reason why this Lee's has better reviews then others. It is because it is better. Not only do you have the traditional sandwiches you would expect, but there is a ton of other choices! You want spring rolls, Bun Vermicelli, and this location even has Pho! Have you heard of that before ? If only I had came during lunch and not after. I stopped by and was able to try their Biscoff Coffee. It was Delicious and perfect for a hot day. Really wished this store existed closer to me! I recommend #70 for someone who likes egg salad sandwiches. Service was fast even though there were only two employees. Don't make the same mistake I did. This is my first time trying Lee's coffee so my expectations were high. I seen them go viral for their coffee so I thought to give it a try. Usually I don't order from DoorDash but today I said Hey, let me treat myself today. I am fully aware that DoorDash prices are more expensive so ordering would cost me more. I placed an order for a Large Biscoff iced coffee and a large vanilla. Just mind you they charged me about $25 dollars for 2 drinks. Door dash driver arrives and hands me over 2 small drinks. So I called Lees and explained the mix up just so the worker can tell me that that's the correct size and that if I wanted large that I needed to come in person. Didn't offer a discount on my next visit, or anything to help the situation. Very frustrating to pay premium just to get a small coffee. They're false advertising on DoorDash. They should correct it so people are not under the assumption that they are getting a large drink. Coffee was good, but not the $25 that I paid DoorDash. read more

I ordered the standard grilled pork Banh MI. and a pork egg roll. I wanted to compare the food to another chain. The sandwich was delicious with lots of cilantro a favorite of mine. I stop in at Lee sandwiches from time to time and it's usually great but this specific store. I don't know what it is the last time I went there.
