    Pork Chop and eggs Breakfast
    Brittany H.

Legends Bay Grille.... Came in on an early Saturday morning for the pork chop breakfast. Staff were amazing, attentive and friendly. Pork chops came pan fried with country gravy (I put the gravy on the side) eggs and country potatoes..... One of the best breakfast I've had in Reno in a while. Pork chops were crispy, seasoned great and not too thick. After having this great meal the server told me that the menu changes out often (very unfortunate) so as of May 16, 2026 they are no longer on the menu. Hopefully it's brought back because you can't find much at legends that you truly enjoy eating and this is one of those meals.

I love Legends bay casino because it is a local casino and gives really good comps. I recently went on a weekday with my mom for a birthday breakfast. We had mimosas and two entrees. I had $10 dining credit and got a free slice of cake for my bday. Mom's first time gambling there and she got a free meal and $25 free play. For the month of November I got $20 food credit and $10 free play 2x a week which is cool!

8/2025 sees their beer bar and food court being renovated to it seems more slot games. Pleasant restaurant/cafe for the day and a steakhouse opened for the evening. For slot machines, they do seem to have the newer games in pairs. Clean restrooms. Table games are in the middle of the casino. This casino is located in an outdoor strip mall which makes it convenient to gamble while others go shopping, eating or watching a movie. It's not very large but has a little something of a machine for everyone. The gentlemen working at their Circa Sportsbook are friendly and helpful, especially for the first time sports better. They have a new sign up special that is worth participating in if it's still available. One can get the Circa App and do your betting and money transfers on it, too. Small stadium style seating area to watch the games on their multiple TV screens. Easy parking. Located next to a marina if one wants to take a break and refresh the self before going back to the gambling.

Very quiet casino in Sparks that had very few patrons when we went mid-day Monday. Fairly new place with new machines, didn't notice any gaming tables in operation and the restaurant was empty. You can earn a free meal as a new slot or games player by earning 10 points... somewhere around $20 in gaming if you're lucky. The free food choices (around $16 value) were limited and the lack of slot payoff among four players at $20 each was also a turn-off. Payoffs need to be increased if they expect to be competitive. Food of - Chicken and Waffles, Chicken Wrap, Eggs and Country Biscuit were passable but not the greatest. TBH - the people didn't seem to be very happy working...except at the rewards desk.

I love Battle of the Bands which is one of my favorite events since the Legends Bay Casino opened 3 years ago! One person who is still the sports book bartender since the doors opened is Larry!! He makes the best lemon drops on the planet!! Over the past three years Larry is my favorite bartender and he has become not only my bartender but a very good friend! If I'm having a bad day, I can always count on Larry to bring a smile to my face!!! The very first battle of the bands my bike seat got stolen. It was 1:30AM and no one had room for my bike and me even though I lived half a mile away. One of the security guards offered to take me home. I'm very sad that the security guard got let go for tardiness! He was an asset to the Casino and cared about people just like Larry! Happy three year anniversary Larry!!! Thank you for your friendship!!!

Legends Bay Casino is located near Scheels in Sparks. It's clean and bright with lots of slot machines and table games. I haven't fared great on either the slots or tables but I do like that they have some good restaurants: Duke's Steakhouse, an oyster bar, a café, and a food court of sorts (that has gotten smaller since it first opened). We've dined at the café a few times. Surprisingly, they make a fantastic steak salad and French Onion Soup at reasonable prices!

It's very nice Inside Vacant - not many people There were no table games open- no blackjack or craps - An area is under construction and not many smiles. Maybe it's an off day.

Time for an update and an additional star. Quality/Quantity - You have some of our favorite restaurants; Dukes Steakhouse and The Oyster Bar. I missed the very first Yelp Duke event, but saw the pictures and of course had to visit. Since then, we have been regular customers. Atmosphere - Still a beautiful brand new casino. I was a day one customer, see previous review. Few eating and drinking choices. Dukes Steakhouse also has a good wine selection, see picture. LB Grill - Casual dining. Food Truck Hall - 2 "fast food" choices. Craft 55 - Small bar. Sportsbook Bar. Chandelier Bar. 80k square feet. Most up to date slots, 10 tables, and a sportsbook. Easy free mall parking. Service - Restaurant service has been 5 stars! I still have not been greeted by one employee in the casino... Price - Gambling, so you can determine the cost. Owner Comment - Congrats on your grand opening since 2022; I look forward to your success.

Located in the center north edge of the Legends Outlet in Sparks, this casino is about 18 months old. The casino floor is nice and open and bright. Opposite what you might expect. Bright orange, gold and tan in color. I usually park to the north of the building, opposite the shopping area. This parking lot is quicker access to the casino. On your left as you come in are nice spacious restrooms. The food court with food trucks. A cafe, with a fabulous looking dessert case at the entrance. The newly opened Oyster Bar. And Duke's Steakhouse. Follow the curve and you'll pass sports book area before exiting into the center of the outlet mall, right next to the Galaxy Theater. I have popped in a few times and played while waiting on a table at the Steakhouse and Oyster Bar. It's a nice change from the huge older casinos in town.

We stopped by the Legends Bay Casino on Monday, lured by the promise of AYCE sushi & oysters. Unfortunately, we arrived too early; the AYCE sushi doesn't start until 4pm (it was only around 11am); so, we opted to have breakfast/lunch at the LB Grill instead. My first impression of this casino is that it is genuinely nice, posh and the decor is tasteful. There isn't the token stale cigarette smell in the air; it truly seems like a pleasant place. The only critique I have is there's no on-site hotel. The closest hotels are couple of blocks away; aren't these developers aware it snows in Reno? It would be a pain to walk a few blocks in the snow just gamble, or after you tire of gambling, still have to trudge through a slick, ice-covered parking lots-streets just to go to your hotel room. (Just saying).

Ask the Community - Legends Bay Casino

Does Legends Bay casino still have $5 minimum at the craps table during the weekdays? It's hard to get a straight answer from them but maybe someone who has been there in 2025 will know? Thanks.

Is Bubble Craps available? If so, are they individual stations(Intertop) or the community type ("Shoot to Win") with multiple seats?

Didn't see a machine there last year. They did have $5 minimum at the regular craps table (very rare).

    Is there WIFI?

    Yes, free guest WiFi

    How is the gambling area?

If you are referring to the table games you would be wasting your time as the new management thinks they are in Vegas ( they are from Laughlin ) and ruining the department. In fact I would bet that they have zero tables by the end of the year...…

    Is this a smoking casino?

You can smoke in the public gambling areas, but not in the food service areas.

Is Legends Bay open 24 hours?

Yes most every casino in Nevada is open 24 hours

We arrived around 11:30pm and there was a sweet girl who easily helped us check in, and marked up a map to give us precise directions to our room. The room itself was clean and very comfortable. The shower had amazing pressure and was spacious. The bathroom came with body wash, body lotion, shampoo, and conditioner. The AC worked well but was a little loud as it periodically turned off. We grabbed a very quick breakfast the next morning at their 24/7 diner, and it was actually so beautiful inside?! I was very impressed with the decor! Even at 8am, every employee we encountered was attentive, kind, and made our experience enjoyable. My fiancé literally just got 3 scrambled eggs and coffee to tide him over so there isn't a ton to report on the meal, but he was happy! There were 4 mini water bottles waiting for us in the room, a keurig machine with pod options, an ice machine near the elevator, and a filtered water refill station! Also a vending machine for purchasing items. Only knocking off a star because.. well.. it's not a 5 star hotel haha. The AC was a little loud at night, and we were bummed there were no table games for a quick blackjack game as the website does say "The Western Village Casino is a winning environment where you can play the best in slots, table games, and more". However, I don't think I've ever found a better bang for your buck hotel in my life.

We got here 30 minutes early and the restaurant said they could NOT seat us early and 50% of our group had to be here. So I went to the penny slots to kill time. A hard working waitress was delivering drinks to all the people around me, so I tried to order one but she said she had to move to another section?!?! After she was done with delivering her drinks she made a special trip back to see what I wanted and got it for me immediately. THANK YOU. Ambiance - We are already Peppermill loyalty members (20% off for locals, but NOT here). So my wife went to get her player's card while I gave my machine some $$. 145 rooms & suites with kitchenettes. The inn is across the parking lot from the casino. Plenty of parking, but we almost always end up in the rear of the parking lot. Gift shop, EV charges, etc. 4 Restaurants - The Steak House, Pancho & Willie's (Mexican), Primo, (Italian, pizza), Cafe Belline, and of course, bars and lounges. Service - Good. Price - Generous tip. Plus I only lost $5 playing the penny slots until our dinner reservations were due. I guess it's inexpensive compared to if I had to buy another glass of wine in the Steak House. :) Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success for over 40+ years. 1983 - Peppermill acquired.

The valet staff lost our key and it took over 20 minutes for them to locate it. They did not think to hire more staff for the busy Memorial Day weekend and the basketball/volleyball/adult softball tournaments that were going on in the area. The night before we had to leave our car halfway in the street because valet was so backed up. The guest service manager told us to leave it half away in the street. The next day the same manager blamed the desk agent for losing our key when they did the same thing in the morning when she wasn't there. Unfortunately, this caused us to be late to a magic show we were attending at Grand Sierra Resort. I understand mistakes can happen, but seeing the same issue happen multiple times in one day shows a serious lack of organization and professionalism. Valet should make the experience smoother, not create unnecessary stress and delays.

They even have additional requests section on their booking page where I requested extra things like towels. We did not receive any of those requests. Room: King, Tuscany Suite with a balcony. The room was really nothing special, as time went on we began to notice more small concerns. The first was that the ottoman at the end of our bed was stained which felt off putting. Much of the furniture and room decor was dusty. It seemed like the whole room just needed a deep clean and detail because it appeared well used. The "balcony" was just a patio space with really well loved furniture. It was also funny because our view was the worker entrance/exit so we really one saw people coming to and leaving work. Casino: This was by far the worst casino I have been too. The machines had very low RTP and rarely gave bonus games. It wasn't very well kept, drink glasses would pile up and sit. The staff seemed off putting and not very helpful. The bonuses offered weren't all that great either. Pool: The pool was decent but could use better planning. My hope would be that one of the pool decks becomes a 21+ space. Adults on vacation at a "luxury" hotel don't want to swim with kids. The hot tubs were even occupied by kids which made it unenjoyable and hard to relax. Spa: We didn't even bother with the spa because I called them prior to our stay and got sent to voicemail. I left a voicemail hoping for a call back but never received one. Overall, not worth the expensive price and we will likely not return to stay at the Peppermill.

Standard service, not anything to write home about. This is clearly a hang out spot for people that are already poor and Baldinis makes good and sure they stay that way. You know how you walk in a casino and hear or see lots of people hitting jackpots? Not this place. Just people chain smoking to calm their anxiety of getting robbed once again by the infamous Baldinis. Terrible casino. They will try and hook you with promotions but they are only to get you to show up and feel like you have a chance at winning something but you will indeed win nothing so save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. Of all the Casinos in Reno/Sparks the places that hit the hardest have proven time and again to be Sierra Sid's (right down the street on McCarran) and Peppermill. I've given this place too many chances to redeem themselves but I always walk out of here irritated. They don't even give you small wins on any of the machines to break you in at even or slightly above. Every machine is the same thing: win slightly less than you're betting to chase a dragon that does not exist. Food is notably priced but again that's the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. I had my receipt (the proof ) in my hand and she refused to look at it . I ended up telling her what a rude unprofessional employee that she was , that just made her start yelling even more . This RUDE & INCONSIDERATE Employees name is AMANDA. I've never been treated so poorly at any public place in my life ! As I went back to the front to explain what had happened , the lady up front even tried to reason with Amanda to open up one of the showers but instead of being any kind of decent, rational individual she started to explain her side of the story which was all switched up and not the truth at all. I unfortunately didn't get the lady working as the cashier in the store that was very polite and tried to help me out with my situation but Thank You I used to love coming to Alamo/Petro especially when I needed to pay for a shower very very sad as I will never be coming back again for anything & I don't recommend it to others due to how I was treated also Its very unprofessional that it's not mandatory for their employees to be wearing their name tags on shift !
