6pm Sunday On Hwy 80 have a blow out with our 5th Wheel. Took the first exit to find a large enough place to take a look. Rail City was right there. Security came out. Explained and Mark said, all good. Called Progressive Ins they sent Jason from T&M who arrived in 30 min. Changed flat but screw in other tire. Need to go to BigO in the am. Great guy! No RV places open that late so we went back to Security and explained our problem. They said we could stay in lot and even comped our food. What a great group. Everyone friendly and helpful to a couple wayward folks from South Dakota BTW our server Cindy works at Gold Ranch Sierra Cafe. Good place to stop for fuel and food

We never leave anything behind, our boss turned us on to it and he pays. Garlic Fries are bomb

We go to the restaurant more than anything and have the "10" Ribs and beers for two and the "Garlic Fries " $30 bucks and it's a meal. Never thought I'd suggest a casino but they have earned it, outstanding service and food! Sometimes we go play a little bit of the video poker and it's fun but the draw is the 1/2 Rack of BBQ Ribs ! Tall boy comes with it.

Unfortunately this casino has lost its touch... the games are being updated to catch up with what the other casinos are doing: more lights, bigger and taller machines. The disappointing things I've noticed are how unhappy some of the staff look and how poor their knowledge is of the company they're working for! The cocktail waitresses are very humble and greet you openly. The other staff though no so much. On the bright side of things I have almost come out of the casino with more money in my wallet than I came in with. Rail city is a casino for the locals. Haven't eaten the food just enjoyed the machines so far

Half slab and a cold beer. 10.00 and a baked potatoe added.

My babrbeque ribs were excellent. The beer was really cold and went down nicely with the meal. One half slab plus a beer for $10. So I added a baked potatoe and it was a fantastic dinner. Inexpensive and quick. Plus live band on Saturday nights. I will be back.

Cool locals spot. The employees are nice. Machine selection is very good. A decent spot to unwind.

Not bad for a dive bar style casino. Lots of good old keno machines in the back with a nice diner up front.

Both were rich, decadent, and almost too pretty to eat! We also picked up a couple of their giant cookies--the Double Chocolate Chip and the Chocolate Chip. They also had Oatmeal cookies available. Some of my other favorites are their blondies and cheesecakes, but they offer such a wide variety of desserts that there's always something new to try. It was my first time meeting Nikki, and she was attentive, friendly, and calm throughout my visit. It was also nice seeing Michael, one of the hosts, and Nohely again. Congratulations to Nohely on her promotion to Manager--it's great to see her hard work and dedication recognized. Michael, as always, has a great smile, a wonderful personality, and provides excellent customer service. Another enjoyable visit, and I'll definitely be back

The rooms are very welcoming, adorned with modern decor, seating areas, keurig machines for your morning coffee, floor to ceiling windows for expansive views, and comfortable beds. As per the restaurants you are in great hands at one of my favorite dining venues, Rim Bistro under the leadership of GM Christian Bryan. The Charlie Palmer Steakhouse serves up great plates, and there are other dining options that might suit your fancy. The casino floor is overflowing with a wide variety of slot machines and tables to suit your liking, and the cage cashiers are always friendly and ready to assist. Top it all off with a theatrical or musical performance at the Grand Theater, and close the night with a night cap at the Crystal Lounge or a freshly brewed cup of coffee at the Starbucks. There is so much to explore at this property and soon with the amphitheater where UNR sports teams will compete you can already feel the excitement and adrenaline bubbling at the surface. The location is absolutely ideal if you drive, as valet parking and self parking are both available but patience is advised while construction is underway. Guest parking is available off 2nd street in the rear of the casino. Getting a rideshare out of the property might be a challenge for you as it has been for me on the weekends, as well, but cabs are always on site. Overall I can't speak highly enough about my multiple experiences on site and look forward to attending more live events and staying as a guest at GSR. Thanks Grand Sierra Resort!

Welcome to Baldinis: Where the worst things happen…read more The only reason they are getting two stars is for the food. DO NOT COME HERE TO GAMBLE AT ALL COSTS. Period. I've been here at least 20 times and every single time they widdle down your money and you will leave with nothing you came in with. Slots are horrible, Keno never hits, not sure about video poker but I'd be willing to bet (with a much better chance at winning than if I were to bet anything here) that the poker is garbage too. Standard service, not anything to write home about. This is clearly a hang out spot for people that are already poor and Baldinis makes good and sure they stay that way. You know how you walk in a casino and hear or see lots of people hitting jackpots? Not this place. Just people chain smoking to calm their anxiety of getting robbed once again by the infamous Baldinis. Terrible casino. They will try and hook you with promotions but they are only to get you to show up and feel like you have a chance at winning something but you will indeed win nothing so save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. Of all the Casinos in Reno/Sparks the places that hit the hardest have proven time and again to be Sierra Sid's (right down the street on McCarran) and Peppermill. I've given this place too many chances to redeem themselves but I always walk out of here irritated. They don't even give you small wins on any of the machines to break you in at even or slightly above. Every machine is the same thing: win slightly less than you're betting to chase a dragon that does not exist. Food is notably priced but again that's the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. As a Casino this place is more than deserving of a full Zero Stars.

I did as I was instructed and this lady was awful right from the start to me from when telling her my situation . Very very rude , started yelling at me and she shockingly said, " I'm not gonna loose my job over some loser trying to get a free shower "!. Nothing really has changed in terms if the rooms (basic but nice and clean), and the service remains pleasant. The difference however, was this year, I brought my daughter. The pot stickers were good, and the pad Thai, while a bit dry, was flavorful (pro tip: ask for a small cup of the pho broth, and pour 2-3 soup spoons- not more- over the pad Thai, and add a dab of hoisin sauce..... it'll be magic).
