I have memories of them going back to my high school days when the upperclass buddies first introduced me to Legends. It was a bit cheaper back then, but you know what do you expect when minimum wage and cost of living increases. I always enjoy their Omelets. Large huge generous omelets with hash browns or fruit fruit and a choice of toast, white, wheat, sourdough, rye or english muffin. The portion is definitely shareable. I also enjoy their salads. All salads come with pita bread and your choice of dressing: Italian lite, honey mustard, blue cheese, green, ranch or thousand island. I usually share it or eat it for 2-3 meals. My favorite is the Avocado salad ($8.99). It has the the salad with tomatoes, cucumber, red onions, a boiled egg and a generous amount of avocado. The naughty unhealthy fried stuff that are well beloved at Legends are the onion rings ($4.99/reg, $7.99/large), zucchini fries ($4.99/reg, $7.99/large) and the fried mushrooms ($4.99/reg, $7.99/large). If you want everything, you can get the Lgends sampler with all three ($7.89/reg, $9.49/large). Recently I came back here to meet up with my high school friend. I ordered via drive thru and we parked our calls next to each other with the windows slightly down for a lunch outing. I felt safe enough with no contact and physical distance. Legends has a spacious parking lot and we found a shady area for our lunch outing. This is definitely something I wouldn't eat every day, but it is good for the occasional nostalgia. read more

I grew up going to the OG legends, before it was sold. I moved away and haven't been here in years. Yesterday evening I came back despite the many warnings from friends and family. I have two main issues: the customer service was HORRIFIC and the prices were high. The kid at the drive thru was rude as heck. He told me the milkshake upgrades for each meal was $1, that was a lie. He had an attitude about everything. And while we were waiting for our food at the window the cooks and him were cussing in Spanish, which I really don't mind but at work for everyone to hear? This place went from a B to an A down to a C. I always wanted to go to this place but they are getting bad grades obviously. I recommend they close for a little bit so they can clean up so they can go to a B or an A instead of closing because they got a C again. They had a 90, now it is a 78. I don't think this place is great choice for family night unfortunately. Their major violations on the San Bernardino website was cleaning problems. Wow what a letdown from many many previous experiences. I'm not quite sure if it's just location in particular but this is all the review is for not for any other location... I ordered a large fry, well done in the drive-thru, then received my bag, which was a small lunch size paper bag... from what I remember a large fry was served in a box not only that it was also seasoned with their amazing seasoning salt. This was not the case for this instance, there was a small sleeve of french fries containing not one single whole sliced entire steak fry but pieces and ends. like they got a discount on quality B french fries, and passed it along to me at the same price! They were small and random sized, not only that they were just seasoned with salt... not their classic seasoning salt. What a disappointment, if you're going to reduce my quality, then let me know, or if you need to increase the price in order to keep the same quality that I'm expecting... and the reason why I visit your establishment, then please feel free to adjust the prices accordingly, but don't tell me I'm getting a large fry, and then serve me a medium sleeve with salt only. I really am looking forward to reply to this post because I am definitely calling you out on your quality of the french fry as well as the portion size that I am expecting along with the seasoning salt. Ok, the reviews are certainly going downhill since the ownership change. I have been eating here for 20 years, since the day they opened! Six or so months ago, which I assume was shortly after the ownership change, the Legends I knew and loved was gone. It was sad! HOWEVER- I returned recently (within the last month) to see if things have changed. I drive by this place every day on my way home from work, and one day I was just too tempted to give my favorite burger joint another try. Suffice it to say - they have IMPROVED GREATLY since the ownership change initially took place! Fries are still the wrong shape, but not as dry. Gyro was smaller but very tasty and a perfectly reasonable portion size. They have brought back the HOUSE-MADE RANCH! The chicken breast salad was fresh and full of yummy ingredients. See my picture. This was my first time here. I never realized this place was here and I drove by it a million times! I ordered via the drive-through and all I have to say is, WOW! When the bag was handed to me, it weighed a ton! I ordered a hamburger combo. Everything was tasty. The portions were enormous. At least for me it was! I will never come back here. First of all why is there not a system set up to redeem old gift cards?? Money was spent on the gift card and there is no expiration date so because they decided to stop selling them my gift card doesn't exist???? Anywho, 3 of us stopped here for a late lunch after watching a movie. We ordered 2x pastrami burger combos and a pastrami roll with a Legends sampler (fries with fried mushrooms/zucchini/onion rings). Their prices were never cheap but they did give big portions and still do, but now their prices are questionable. So sad to see this place change in such a bad way since it's new ownership change. We've been coming to Legends for many years now and have always enjoyed their food. Things have changed... Fries used to come in large portions in a box. Now they come in a small bag. Their shakes are awful now. These are two of the many changes they have made. A total waste of my time and money. I placed an order for turkey burger and I asked for substitution of white bread versus the wheat. I get home which is 4 1/2 miles away only to see that I have wheat bread I don't like wheat bread, I don't eat wheat breadbecause I did not want to drive 4 1/2 miles back I threw the burger in the trash a waste of nine dollars when I walked in four people standing around the grill, laughing and socializing. I have been a fan of Legends for years. However I will not be going back until things change drastically! My order has not been correct the last four times I've been there. They are charging more for less and than the order is not what you ordered. This time I ordered a double cheeseburger with no lettuce, and a patty melt on white bread. What I received was a double cheeseburger with lettuce and no BUN? Also the patty melt was so soggy it was not eatable. The fries were cold and tasteless. I've been going to legends for 20 years. Got really upset when they sold. But found out they are now under their original ownership which is fantastic! So we went and we had a great experience! I got the bacon avocado cheeseburger which was exactly as I remembered it! So good! My wife got the avocado salad which had an amazing amount of avocado on it! The fries were super bomb, crispy, and really well seasoned. Also the ranch dressing is so good here! I always dip my fries in them. The service was great! I normally drive through and the staff was patient and well spoken! Which can be hard especially on a drive through! I highly recommend coming here for burgers, fries, salads, breakfast burritos.
