Some of the most underrated bar food in the Jersey shore. Their clam pie and wings are some of the best in the area. I would highly recommend to go with a group of friends while there are sports games as it makes the atmosphere even better. It does turn into a bar scene the later at night you stay. So completely up to you what kind of vibes you are wanting.

    Cheese pizza, chili Thai wings!

Always excellent chili Thai wings and pizza, generous Jameson shots and ice cold beers! We sat at the bar with excellent service both night (in manasquan for 3 nights, had dinner here twice). Great comfy vibes, lots of tvs and interesting wall decor! Will be back!

Fun, packed patio with great tunes. I am still dreaming about the pizza. They seemed a bit overwhelmed but the servers were keeping up with the pace nicely. I can't wait to go back.

So, this was my second time here, & I have yet to eat here, went to have a few drinks with my friend. I love the vibe of this place with the loud music & how guys will stand on a chair to sing Taylor Swift or Celine Dion, it's an absolute blast, even though it gets wayyyy too packed to the point where you're on top of each other. The service was great except for an "older" bartender named Drew, who felt the need to put his hands aggressively on my friend for using a vape she didn't know she wasn't allowed to use. He should be fired in my opinion. A quick , you're not allowed to use that would've be sufficient.

Had Leggetts for the first time this weekend. Pizza was fantastic! Perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. Was not too oily and the crust had the perfect amount of crisp to it. They had beer specials going on as well. People next to us ordered spinach dip and it looked amazing. I was tempted to buy it, but I held off. Next time for sure. Only downfall is they are crowded so it's hard to get someone attention for a purchase. But I guess the crowds speak of how good this place is. Definitely planning on coming back again to try more pizza and the spin dip! They also sell fun shirts. They caught my eye. Super cute.

Good local spot to hangout and watch sports. Great service and a nice outside patio bar. Wings were slightly above average and the pizza was a solid bar pie. Definitely will come back!

Great beach bar atmosphere steps from the boards. Average bar food but a fun party atmosphere. I went to meet the central NJ PSU alumni chapter for the rose bowl game and it was a Monday night. The crowds didn't affect the service. I ordered potato skins which was very good along with chicken fingers/fries. Great bartenders!

    Chicken wrap

Honestly worst wrap I have ever had. There were 3 strands of very dry chicken on each side of the Empty wrap and some iceberg lettuce for $16.50. (Should have been $13 based on the menu but I had added avocado as a topping (said $0.50.....) not that it even had avocado on it as shown in the picture). But forgetting the missing toppings for a second (which I paid for..) the wrap was just plain awful and the service just as bad. It took so long to the point where the party of 8 had to leave besides 1 person staying to pay for the check. (Which is why I couldn't even say anything about the up charge as I wasn't there). The drinks are fine but overpriced. Wouldn't go back again. Especially when Gee Gees is across the street with AMAZING wraps for $10.

    Red cabbage

Very popular dining spot in the Squan. Pizza is delicious, beer cold, and clientele lively. Especially during the summer. Unfortunately the Fred Leggets salad was a miss! Menu states mixed greens, with dried cranberries, candied walnuts, sliced apples and crumbled blue cheese at a price tag of $18.50 Very light on the walnuts and blue cheese , no mixed greens, just iceberg lettuce and an over abundance of red cabbage (which was not even mentioned in the salad description) So my advice, enjoy the pizza and beer but steer clear of the salad!

The Fish Tacos were good, though they were just a bit warm as if they may have been sitting for a bit, and not under a heat lamp. My daughter liked her taco bowl with beyond meat... I very much enjoyed the Frozen Strawberry Daquiri. I wouldn't say it would be a favorite of mine, but I would go back if I lived in the area.

But you do, I said, it's on the menu in the seafood boil. The waitress went to the kitchen and return saying we don't sell them separately. It's a seafood place for crying out loud. So we ordered the seafood boil as an appetizer and took the clams out. I ordered the fish tacos, which were just OK. The worst thing about the dish was the bland rice and the black beans that were served apparently right out of the can with no seasoning. You could've at least thrown some spices in them. I had to ask for a side of salsa to give the beans some flavor We had several appetizers and quite a large group. The waitress handled the group very well.

Although it wasn't very busy, service upstairs was fairly slow, and several nearby tables also seemed to be waiting a while for food or checks. For drinks, we ordered the Boardwalk Lemonade, which was sweet and refreshing, and their version of an Aperol Spritz, which had a beautiful presentation. My dad's Baked Brie Burger was delicious--the fig jam paired perfectly with it, and the waffle fries were fried to perfection. I ordered the Mr. Beautiful Burger, which tasted great at first. Unfortunately, I felt VERY sick almost immediately after eating. I can't say for certain what caused it, but since my dad didn't try my burger and felt fine after his meal, I suspect mine may not have been cooked properly. Despite that, I enjoyed the atmosphere, drinks, and overall experience. I'd definitely give this place another chance, though I'll skip the Mr. Beautiful Burger next time.

We brought two bottles of wine, and the white was put in a chilled bucket right away. Just a note for anyone not familiar with BYOB restaurants in New Jersey: if they don't have a liquor license, the servers can't pour your wine. I don't mind pouring my own, so it wasn't an issue. The meal started with an amuse-bouche: two sips of tomato soup with a bruschetta crostini. It was a nice way to begin. One of the standout dishes was the breaded pork chop stuffed with prosciutto and cheese, served with a cognac mushroom sauce. My spouse gave me a bite, and it was one of the best I've had this summer. The pork was juicy with just a little pink, and the combination of flavors worked really well. I'm still thinking about it. We also had the tuna tower with soy sauce, ginger, horseradish, and wasabi. It was fresh and nicely presented. I ordered the foie gras (before you bash me, read Foie Gras Wars by Mark Caro and then decide )It was paired with a poached pear and simply prepared. I would have liked a slice of French toast, brioche (a girl could dream), but when I mentioned it, our server brought crostini, which worked fine. Chef Bass was out on the floor greeting guests and bringing out plates. He has really terrific energy. Bistro by Bass is a great dinner date spot and I also observed many larger tables having shared food. Next time, I'll order the pork chop for myself. I also saw several orders of escargot go by that looked really good. I wish I got the tableside bananas Foster. I've had it before there and it was fabulous! I ordered the almond Amarado gelato that tasted like a delicious almond joy, coconut, and almond crunches throughout. (my dinner partner hates coconut and chunky ice cream so he wasn't "NO", but I thought it was great!) From what I could tell, other tables were enjoying their meals too. The pricing was fair, the atmosphere was lively, and I'd go back.
