    Grilled calamari

I've been coming here since it was called Suparrosa, if I spelled it correctly. Classy Italian spot, rustic vibes and the staff is very nice. Every time I go here, there's only two dishes I pick from, although I've tried pretty much 80% of the menu at this point(all of which Id recommend). The ribeye and the seafood linguine. Today, I went with the ribeye. We also ordered grilled calamari(of which they use real squid, not imitation meat), and a margherita pie. All of which were amazing. The steak was a little over done on the edges, but when I got a little deeper into it, it was a perfect medium rare. Pizza was fire, they also do the genuine Italian-American thing by bringing out bread with olive oil and parmesan so you can dip the bread in the oil then coat it with the cheese. Ive been coming here since probably 2008, before the name change. Highly recommend.

I live downtown and was never out in the area. I met friends for dinner, who were visiting from Charleston. My friend wanted to be close to the live music so I called to see if we could sit in the bar area. Vanessa the bartender assisted me over the phone and assured we would have a table in the bar area. She was so sweet over the phone. Once we arrived, our table was ready in full view of the live entertainment. It was perfect. Ron Steta sounded great. His selection of songs were diverse and fun. Vanessa was our server. She was busy but never rushed us. She was all smiles and so helpful. Her personable assistance really made our experience better. The menu was classic Italian but diverse enough to make it interesting. Our table tried Zucchini Parmesan, Pizza, Sausage & Peppers, Chicken Vesuvio and Chicken Limon. Everything was fantastic! We also loved our cocktails and desserts. The Tiramisu was fluffy and rich. The Italian Cookie Gelato was sooo creamy and yummy! Parking is very easy. There were street spaces available and a large dedicated parking lot. I will definitely return because of Vanessa and her kind service.

Legno is a neighborhood gem! Whether it's take out or dine in, their food delivers well. Picked up spaghetti and veal meatballs with broccolini and bread and it was all still hot and fresh when we got home. Dined in and had the chicken piccata with a side of parm risotto and that was tasty! The Mac and cheese is like no other. Other items we enjoy here is the Cesar salad with chicken and diovolo pizza!

Kids took me here for Mother's Day I ordered avocado toast, and the plate vas not altered, except I lifted two over easy eggs to see where the avocados were! O pretty much needed a magnifying glass to find it! Maybe a 1/4 of an avocado on there . I mean, picture is worth a million bucks! I thought this was a prank, or hidden camera; for real! When I told waiters o actually ordered avocado toast, she looked at me and said; you don't like it? What's wrong with it!? I told her that's no avocado toast at all, she said; oh, it's a new thing on the menu! I was like; please tell them to take it off the menu asap. I'm still in shock. Even the rest of the veggies and fruits looked stale. I've ordered Mediterranean salad and that was a ok. We've been here many times, and always enjoyed it, but this last time it was kind of disappointing. Perhaps, under new management or new chef. No bueno!

Chicken and Waffles and bottomless mimosas? Sign me up for the perfect Sunday brunch I've walked past this place for years, but finally stopped by this past weekend. Very enjoyable experience, would have loved to sit outside but the street was pretty loud. Inside is gorgeous though, so can't complain. They have a pizza oven in the back, and their pastas looked amazing, so will be coming back to try their dinner menu!

Meatball Bomber Legno Burger Spicy Calabrian Potatoes

Food was just not that well. The meatball at its base is very bland. Burger was good but the sauces on top are conflicting. Potato's could be served with some cream of some sorts to break up all of the savory flavor

unexpected free dessert which was really appreciated.

Very happy with the food and portions, everything was delicious. We are very pleased with the management and the wait staff...always. They take care of the customers no matter what problem may arise. They made sure we were comfortable and moved us to an area that was quieter, plus turned the music down. Even though the problem was my hearing issue. Thank you to the manager and Jimmy the waiter, we were really pleased with everything.

I am living my life now! After my best friends and I completed getting out Covid-19 vaccines, we decided to finally get together for brunch and to come to a place where social distancing is a must, this was the perfect place. Out table was perfect and maybe one other couple 15 feet away from our table is the perfect place to be. I got the pasta with lobster and I must admit this is the dish! It was absolutley perfectly seasoned and just an awesome portion. enough of course to take half of it home. This portion was defintely enough for two to share. But ill have lunch now for tomorrow. So I can admit, way more food for one! Also had one of the best bloody Mary's! Fully loaded with celery stick, olives, wedge of lemon and lime and a nicely done bacon slice, oh and a shrimp! I highly recommend this spit for some Brunch. It's really a safe way to come back to society.

I chose the 7 layer salad as the picture from the owner looks beautiful, it is really 7 layers!! The actual dish is nothing like that! It is just a regular mixed salad dish. While I understand that the picture might be outdated sometimes from customers, but if the photo is from the owner, you probably should update it if you changed the dish!! Then there is the service. The restaurant is empty when we showed up. We thought it might because it is 2pm already so lunch crowed is gone. The server tried to sit us on a corner while there are so many nice seats there. We requested a more comfortable seating. After a disappointing meal, then we waited for a long time to get our bill as the server was in a different room doing something herself. We had to go grab her. She dropped off bill, then she disappeared again. We had to once again to get up to find her... with just one customer on the house, I can't imagine how busy she is for paying no attention to her customer. I will never come here again for sure!

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Service was attentive and efficient throughout our meal. They also have an impressive selection of signature cocktails. After we sat down, our server took her sweet time getting to us and was largely absent the entire visit while the servers for the others tables were attentive and present as I've come to expect. We started with the Crispy Brussels and Burrata Toast which was an amazing and fun combination of flavors textures with the sherry glaze and pickled onions providing a perfect counter to the richness of the cheese. Our second course was the Gage Caesar which we've had before and have enjoyed sharing multiple times, but this time the lettuce was full of grit as if the prep chef did not even bother washing the lettuce. The server never came by to check on us so I had to wave the manager to complain about the salad. The server also never checked to see if we wanted refills on our cocktails so we placed our orders with the manager. The final dish was the venison burger which was perfectly cooked and seasoned if you like venison, which I do so we enjoyed that greatly. The condiments that came with it were perfectly matched to balance the game of the meat and the fries were perfect as usual! The server then FINALLY got more involved with our dinner and was predictably perky and present at the end, something that always irks me when they have been otherwise absent for the meal. The ONLY reason they are getting 3 stars instead of less for this visit was the flavor of the food and the response of the manager in dealing with the lack of service (and the gritty salad). I would give the initial server a zero if I could.
