The presentation looked great with nice char on the fish, fresh pico, and shredded cabbage piled high. But the execution fell short. The fish itself was chewy and not very tender. That's a problem when fish tacos are one of your popular dishes. On the bright side, our waitress was nice and attentive. No complaints on the service front. The cozy atmosphere lives up to the farm to table vibe they're going for. The Verdict: The Local delivers a decent lunch with good service and fresh ingredients. I had the boneless short rib with brocolini and mashed potatoes. It was delicious.The szechuan sauce was tasty and not too spicy. My husband had the triple tail and he loved it. We will definitely be back.
