A not grilled patty melt, I didn't ask for it that way, 2 pieces of bread not grilled?

We come here quite often or order at the drive thru, owner please be reading this Called at 931 to place an order. We pull thru the drive thru at 953, still waiting at 1000, they never made our order & man did it show. Patty melt bread was never grilled, see pic, the poor boy was threw on & off the grill, the garlic butter fries which are our favorite, only had garlic seasoning no BUTTER. U are known for your garlic butter fries why would u allow ur employees to ruin everything u are known for? The whole thing was terrible.

Haven't been here in years! I remember the fries being good. They still r. This time I tried the garlic buttered fries. Pretty tasty nothing special imo. Put a garlic seasoning on the regular fries. I wouldn't say don't try them. But I'm sticking with the traditional next time. I also got the chicken pita. It comes with lettuce, tomato, and mayo on it. Very tasty. Overall I was pleased.

    Raw chicken sandwich

I needed a quick meal and the Lemon Tree was a great choice. I had a the poor boy and union rings which was fantastic. My guest had the gyro and fries which were good. Give this locally owned place a try.

Good fast food. They have a good menu filled with good old time food. We had cheese fries, hot dogs and hamburgers. All good!

Food. Fast service. Food was served hot an fresh. Enjoyed the seasoned garlic fries. Close to home. Price of food was well worth it.

Fries are amazing, the service and staff are so kind, and I love how it's quiet, and it kind of seems nostalgic.

5 stars for Lemont. Probably 4 stars in Chicago…read more Walked in on a Saturday for an early dinner. It was 5:45, I didn't have a reservation, a they didn't have a table available until 7:30 but there were spots at the bar which they said was full service. My friend and I cozied up to it and ate there. What a surprisingly good experience. The staff was super friendly and that bartenders had great suggestions. I hate when people at the restaurant say everything is good. Not these young ladies. They made some sound suggestions which we followed. French onion soup and the steak frites were both excellent and priced well IMO. They have a really good whiskey/bourbon selection with a few hard to find bottles. I settled on a Blantons neat. They had Pappy, but I'm not wasting money on that anymore. Food came out quickly and we ate and watched a baseball game. The locals at the bar told us about their membership program where I guess for a small mo they fee you get a bottle of wine and a charcuterie plate once a month. Seemed like a pretty good deal. I don't live anywhere near there, but if I did I'd certainly join. In any case, if you live anywhere close, this is definitely a worthwhile restaurant to visit. Seems like there were quite a few singles there as well if you are looking to meet someone. I have no idea what the dating scene is like in Lemont, but this might be a good spot to try.

I was craving steak frites, and discovered Barrel & Vine for a reasonably priced steak meal. The…read morechimichurri sauce with one of the steak options is absolutely amazing - I'd highly recommend. The food is honestly the best thing about this spot; the vibes aren't quite right for a special date night, but might be perfect for a birthday party or girls night out and service can either be hit or miss. If you come here, definitely make a night of it in downtown Lemont - there's lots to explore, whether for a nightcap or dessert after Barrel & Vine to turn it into a night.

I am writing this review to bring an on-site management issue to the attention of WeEat Hospitality…read moreGroup corporate leadership. Attempts to reach corporate through their listed executive emails bounced back as undeliverable. On June 21 around 2pm, I experienced highly unacceptable and unprofessional behavior from on-site managers, Meghan & Javier. Upon arrival, I was referred to the bar area where a member of staff took my to-go order which consisted of an appetizer and two desserts (slices of cake ) from your menu. Five minutes after placing my order, the young lady returned and said she was informed that the restaurant, despite having it on the menu presented to me, no longer offers cake slices to go, but if I dined in, I would be able to order the cake. I asked to speak with the manager. "Meghan" approached and said that, despite the false advertising on the menu, we could not order the normal size cake to go but a smaller version was available. When asked to see the menu reflecting said portion and pricing, it was not available. I then asked if there was someone else who could help. After waiting 10 minutes, manager "Javier" approached, not introducing himself, and spoke with an aura of disrespect, simply stating that it isn't necessary for the restaurant to advertise the smaller cake slice or price, and the only way we would be able to order is if we were to dine-in. When I offered for myself and my daughter to dine in at the bar with the order we originally placed to go (baked goat cheese with extra crostini, chocolate cake and carrot cake), we were told that was insufficient and that a "full tab" would be needed. In all of my dining experience, I have never been treated with such contempt, especially from management. Instead of working to resolve a standard issue or offering some sort of solution , the manager simply walked away without any resolve. This behavior is completely out of line with standard hospitality practices. I have submitted a formal report through WeEat website intake form on June 30 and am waiting for a prompt response from a regional director or HR representative to resolve this matter. I hope that in the future you will address these issues and improve the service at Goat and Vine as treating patrons on this level should not be taken lightly.
