I cannot praise this place enough, it hits all the points of a great restaurant/eatery. From the very first time I ate here pre-COVID till now, I've been satisfied every single time. It says enough that they've been open 10 years now, and not only survived COVID, but have stayed consistently good despite pressure from inflation and operating costs. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place itself is a bit of a hole in the wall with a very cozy but bright interior - a true gem when you see it and i love that.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is always exceptional - the gentleman that runs the place is so kind and hard-working, really makes you feel that they take pride in their food and business. The kitchen looks clean and ingredients are fresh, the meat is grilled to order and doesn't sit out. I've had pretty much a bit of everything from their menu, from their wraps to the kebab to the gyro and I've enjoyed it all. We recently had their shrimp kebab with half rice and half greek salad, and the veggie plate with ikra (roasted eggplant dip) and the baba ganoush. Every bit was good - the buttery rice, the grilled shrimp, the zesty dips, and the tasty veggies - our dinner hit the spot. The portions are great too for the price, so if I don't finish, I have the leftovers for lunch the next day. All in all, Lemon Zest can do no wrong in my eyes and has earned it. read more

The absolute best Wraps in the Valley. If you love wraps - you have to try Lemon Zest. Their chicken bacon wrap is so delicious you will eat every last piece of the tortilla wrap. The tortillas they use are different and delicious - they are fluffy, tasty, and make a huge wrap without cracking breaking or tearing. The pomegranate sauce is delicious- its a unique flavor. First and most importantly of all, the prepared food was always great, second the orders were always exact and timely. So, very simple, none of that has changed in COVID times... Hit on the menu - I was told - is the Chipotle Chicken, which I did not choose in favor of a Greek Chicken Wrap, a Chicken Gyro, and a Greek salad. I have had food from here about 5 times, always pick up. The sour beef keeps me coming back, but that is the only reason. Every single time that we have ordered from here, they never get everything right. They will either leave something out, like a dessert, and will not bother to say anything either. We have had to call them let them know what was left out and they refund whatever was left out. Sometimes they will give you someone else's order. This last time, we ordered for delivery two orders of kabobs and my boyfriend ordered a falafel gyro. We got our food and took everything out of the bag to find that they gave us some kind of wrap instead of the gyro. It was apparently inedible, and he is the least picky person I have ever known. The other problem with this place other than the fact that they never get the complete order right, is that the ladies that work there are always unfriendly. This was the main reason we started to order for delivery, because we did not want to deal with them. Place has gone really downhill. This used to by my husband's favorite place for falafel but today it was really dry. I got the beef and that was tough and dry too. My go to is the Greek chicken wrap 10/10, comes with fries or salad but after a heavy lower body workout I get the fries baby. I came for lunch and ordered a lamb and chicken kebab combo plate. I was pleasantly surprised with how big the portion was and how moist the protein was. I typically stay away from ordering chicken kebabs because they tend to be dry and tough to chew. Both the chicken and the lamb were tender and moist. I also loved that the salad mix was a spring mix and not just iceberg lettuce. I will definitely be back here again! If you check into Yelp, you get a free hummus (pictured here)! I love ordering from Lemon Zest! I would come here more often if prices weren't that steep, but they are very generous with their portions. Their pomegranate hot sauce is also worth trying. It's located in back of a strip mall and there's only street parking since it's a little shop. I usually order anything chicken kabob here - super juicy and flavorful! Panini kabob is around $14 and tastes way better imo. Parking = Parking is a nightmare. there is not parking lot so you have to get lucky finding street parking. This Lemon Zest is our go-to Mediterranean cafe when we visit Glendale and vicinity. We love how fresh and flavorful the wraps are especially our favorites Gyro Wrap, Chicken Chipotle Wrap with French Fries. As this is where we would always look forward to eating after our day out, but I beg to differ going forward. The last time we were there, the Gyro wrap was stale and cold. We drenched it with an ample of garlic butter, ketchup and chipotle sauce to enhance the flavor so we could possibly finish the $15 entree. The food choices are supposed to be healthy but the MSG proves us otherwise because it made us so thirsty during and after the meal. The water dispenser was emptied while the host offered a water bottle but it tasted worse than tap water. I must say I won't be returning there for again. read more

Ordered 3 chicken luleh kabob meals ($15.99 each)... They come with 2 pieces of chicken luleh, 1 wheat peanut pita? and your choice of rice or salad. We opted for half & half of rice and side salad. The portions were generous. If this was half an order of rice, I would hate to see a whole one. Plenty of rice given. But their basmati rice wasn't as flavorful as I'm used to. That was too bad... The side salad was decent. It came with a vinaigrette and was your typical Mediterranean style salad with crumbled feta cheese and olives. The pita bread was sandwiched between the luleh and the rice/salad so it got soggy. That was disappointing cause it was a different kind of pita and had good flavor to it... The chicken luleh was not flavorful either, it had a good amount of spiciness to it which threw me off a little. Wasnt digging that spice level. I saw on their menu that they do a chipotle luleh and a sriracha luleh... We certainly didnt order that... It wasnt too dry but it wasnt moist either. I wanted to like this more. The plate looked good in the container but it just didnt do it for me. I've eaten a lot of kebab plates in my time and I just expected different. read more

Pretty good, not amazing, but good. 4/5 Sauce is tasty but a little lose so it's soggy after a while. It can be a little overbearing. Did the lunch beef kebob also with rice, Greek salad and hummus. Not bad for about 15 bucks. 4/5. Again, huge amount of rice like the newer places to give you a sense of value. Meat was tender and marinated well. Same goes for the lamb kebob. 4/5. Did it with hummus and tatziki. Tasty all around s It's pretty good for the price and like I said, the customer service was great. Parking may be a little tricky and there isn't much space for dine-in so best be ready to wait for a seat or to just order take out. You may pass it the first time also. I am new to trying per say authentic Mediterranean food but this place set a high bar. At first looking initially it is in the pricier side but the portions are big and the food is superb so after that first bite it was well worth it. They gave is extra nan which was nice and the truffle fries were good as well. Usually I need some type of sauce when consuming fries but it was honestly good alone. I had picked up 5 meals/plates/kabobs and all five of us were thinking it was OK but nothing that needed to be bought again.
