Probably my favorite Mediterranean food spot to date! Imagine Zoë's Kitchen but 100x better! The cafe is small with minimal seating indoors and a small patio outdoors. Wide selection of meats: salmon, lamb, beef, chicken as well as veggie options. Get it on a kabob, a wrap or a bowl! I got the salmon kabob meal and fell in love with how perfectly seasoned it was! Great food! My only true complaint is they need to change out the cheap water lettuce in their salads that has no nutritional value to a more leafy greens type of Greek salad. A salad this expensive should have better quality lettuce. Lemon Zest I challenge you to implement this change. read more

Amazing! Staff was SO friendly and nice. They ended up giving us a tub of hummus and a bag of pitas for free, for no other reason other than to put a smile on our faces ! The chicken breast I got with half rice and half salad, was a GIANT portion. There was a generous amount of tender and juicy chicken, with enough rice to feed three people (and this was a half portion?!) and a fresh salad with an array of grilled vegetables and a whole pita on the side !! I couldn't even finish this portion by myself !! The quality and taste was excellent, only to be topped by top notch customer service , and the cutest little ambiance with a delightful patio. Food looks better than it tastes! Unfortunately I wasn't a fan of it. My co worker and I came here during lunch. First off this is a really small place and parking I couldn't find it. I had to park across the street and jay walk. The people working here are super friendly and very very nice. The chipotle chicken wrap that I ordered was okayy I actually gave the other half to my Husband and he didn't care much for it. I just didn't like the chicken it didn't go well with the other ingredients. I expected more of a tex mex type of wrap but than mixed in with middle eastern type of chicken No bueno. My co worker ordered the lamb gyro and he felt that it was lacking flavor. The interior is really cute and as I said before the people working here were nice. I tried the chicken kabob, chicken lule, salmon kabob, garden & Greek salads, several mezze, and everything was very good, flavorful (evident by my husband's disgusting burps after eating) and healthy! My only complaint (and it's very minor) is that the olives on the Greek salad are not pitted and I bit into one not knowing that. Food arrived in about 45 mins. Free delivery over $30! Long live Lemon Zest cafe! We just ordered delivery for two. Wife was craving a chicken wrap and I'm never opposed to chowing down on some healthy eats. We ordered two chicken chipotle kabob wraps salad and hummus. They delivered on time and without any hiccups. Food was fresh and delicious. Salad came with some falafel as well which was a nice surprise. I can't say enough about local mom and pop cafes who make good food at affordable prices. Definitely will be ordering again. My mouth is on fire from the spicy sauce in the chicken wrap in an ever so tantalizing way. It's a merteriaian rest with the same good as others but not the sane taste. The meat is so tender n so well seasoned that u almost don't have to chew it. It must b marinated a long time to get this way. The rice is just like I okie it nice n fluffy the sides r very good also. Was looking for a lunch place after our massage and the bf was craving Mediterranean food. I told him i didnt feel like waiting at Raffi's so i yelped this place and kept looking. By the time we were close to our massage place, i saw that Lemon Zest was just on the corner. The food looked good so we decided to give it a try. Parking can be rough...its only street parking. The alleyway didnt look like it could fit any parking. The place itself is tiny. A small tiny hole in the wall with 4 tables inside and a little patio outside with a few more tables. The food: the food was really good! You can taste the freshness in it. We checked into Yelp for the free appetizer. We got the sirashi salad which wasnt too strong in herbs like some places. It was very refreshing. We got the combo #1 which is beef and chicken. The chicken wasnt dry and the beef well flavored. The rice was fluffy. They also had their own pomegranate hot sauce. At first it sounded weird, but it was pretty damn good! I definitely would come back if im in the area again. Wow, found this gem while scouring yelp for some Mediterranean food while driving through the Glendale/Pasadena area. I was out visiting a friend in Glendale, and I was starving. My boyfriend and I yelped this place, and decided to give it a try. The parking is on the street, and sometimes it can be busy, so try and dive in and find a space where you can! This place is a quaint little "hole in the wall" (for lack of a better way of describing it), and we missed it the first time we drove by. The seating inside is pretty limited, tables for two people. But there's also some seating outside right in front of the place, and it's covered in shade. I've been here twice (yes, I made an extra trip out this way when I was visiting Pasadena on another occasion). I've had the chipotle chicken kabob wrap, and the caesar chicken kabob wrap. Both were really good! Both wraps were wrapped well, and they weren't falling apart at all. Plus, they were actually packed with food - not like some wraps/burritos you get with practically no filling. If I'm ever in the area again, and craving mediterranean food, I would probably try this place again. It was a good find! Decently priced, nice sized portions, and delicious. read more

In short: I wish the food tasted as good as it looked. The steak and lule kebob were both far too salty, the chicken kebob as bland as oatmeal. Some of the steak kebob was actually burned to charcoal in parts. The shirazi salad was as salty as the pacific, my wife said she had never had a worse one. Also was surprised to find that they didn't include bread., especially considering their prices. With so many other kebob joints in town I doubt I'll eat here again. In long: My wife stopped by to bring to-go dinner on her way home from work. She said the atmosphere was very nice. Three plates a salad and canolis cost $50, this puts lemon zest in the territory of the nicer kebob spots in town. The chicken kebob was the worst of the three meats we tried. I don't know how chicken this bland is even possible and I honestly couldn't eat more than one piece. The other reviews make me think either the owners have a lot of friends with yelp accounts or this was an off night. I could go on, but I won't. I hope these guys can get their act together. I rarely ever leave rant reviews and prefer to rave about the 5 star places I find, but the cost and taste and upset me. I've never been so disappointed by a 5 star place. My experience as a to-go diner was 1 star, but my wife said that the place was well appointed and clean, the service was very friendly, and the presentation of the food offers hope that they care about their food. I'm a huge fan of this place. Not only is it incredibly close to my place, but it's also one of the most solid Mediterranean restaurants in the area. Their Greek salad is phenomenal.
