The salad was large and tasted great! While the beef was flavorful, the lamb was more tender and delicious. We also had a side of the cucumber yogurt which came with pita bread. The only thing is there was way more yogurt than bread, so we just put the excess yogurt in the rice. Overall, great price for the amount of food you get! read more

This place is great! All the ingredients are fresh and the meat quality is grade A! I usually go with the chipotle chicken wrap or the Greek salad with grilled chicken. It's healthy and fulfilling. I think she is the owner or daughter of the owner which would explain the smug attitude, but nonetheless, don't treat your customers like that. I can't explain how much I love this place. I live close by and will be coming back regularly! The food tastes fresh! It's delicious! I saw this place on yelp and thought we'd give it a shot. After looking through the pictures I knew I wanted to try the Chipotle chicken wrap, and I'm glad I made that choice, because it was perfect! My husband got the chicken kabob plate, and it was also really good. The seasoning of the chicken was on point. The chipotle sauce and the combination of ingredients (crispy bacon) in my wrap were so delicious. I finally decided to give Lemon Zest Cafe a try today and it was amazing! You'll fall in love with the character and the atmosphere of the restaurant. The employees of the restaurant were great and really helpful as we were first timers. I ordered the Sriracha Chicken Wrap and it was really really really really good. I told one of the employees how much I love Sriracha and she customized the wrap based on how spicy I wanted it. I've had a lot of sandwiches and wraps with Sriracha, but this one was the best I've had. My sister ordered the Chipotle Chicken Wrap and she loved it. Definitely one of my top choices for Mediterranean food when I'm visiting back home. I went about a month ago and ordered a regular gyro. I don't know what they do differently than other places but it was bursting with flavor. And it was so big I could only eat half. Better for me, I love leftovers =) Friendly staff is always a plus! We got the chicken kabob and the chicken kaboodeh (but they call it something else there, but it's the ground chicken meat). I thought their kabobs was flavorful and juicy. Probably the best I've tried. It wasn't dry at all! Definitely a must! Their kaboodeh wasn't spectacular but it wasn't bad either. I easily enjoyed it. For the sides we got the roasted eggplant and hummus. I wish I had some pita bread for the hummus. Hummus was good. Roasted eggplant tasted like its fermented. It has a sour and bitter taste to it. Not like the other roasted eggplant dish I tried before. I was disappointed. On the positive note we tried their Canoli and my, oh my...I wished I had some right now!!! These guys moved in from new york. I had a chipotle chicken wrap and that was freakin delicious. Try the home made lemon zest hot sauce. Definitely will becoming back. Prices are fair too. The best part about our meal was the pickled cabbage. The rest, I can throw out. Mediocre chicken wrap that's over-sauced with goopy store-bought ranch-like dressing. Found this place one day on our way to fix our car at the Glendale Acura Dealership. My husband had the beef lule kebab w/ all salad and I had the chicken kebab with salad and rice. Portions are huge and filling. It is not a huge restaurant, maybe 3 small 2 seater tables. I imagine people grab to go for lunch or dinner or they get a lot of catering requests. We were looking for a place to eat that was on our way to Dodger stadium and found Lemon Zest. Husband had the lamb gyro and I had the veggie gyro. They were both outstanding. The veggie were cooked to perfection, as well as the lamb. We started off with dolmas and I realized how much I've missed having really good ones. We ended the meal with baklava which was just dripping with honey - very tasty. The service was very friendly. My only regret is that this place is so far away from where I live. This place is a little hole in the wall fuck up. To start off, their customer service deserves -0 points. They are a bunch of rude assholes who don't even know how to properly greet customers let alone know how to take correct orders. The first time I ordered at this place, I was disappointed. However, I let it slide thinking they were just having an off day. Second time around, they managed to fuck up yet again. So I place an online order for pickup. I ordered a Teriyaki bowl(vegan dish) and come to find that it had no teriyaki sauce. The bowl pretty much consists of rice, lettuce and falafel and the teriyaki was what was supposed to give most of its flavor. So without any sauce in it, I prettty much wasted $16 for flavorless, dry lettuce and rice. Really guys, really?!! All I know is that this was my last time putting up with this type of customer service. Im surprised you guys have lasted as long as you have. Unbelievable!!!! read more
