Pretty good! We live in the area and craving kebob and we wanted something different from the normal. With a quick yelp research, we found Lemon Zest and the reviews seemed decent. We ordered for take out and the food was very good with generous amounts of food. The falafel was delicious- not dry and paired very well with the sauce. Was not very happy with their food. The pitas were served, not in a way I expected. They were drizzled with oil, and then some sort of red spice. They were good, but not what I had wanted. Also their rice was very flavorless. I ordered the salmon, it was alright. read more

Lemon Zest Cafe is an intimate restaurant with delicious food and fresh ingredients. The Chipotle Chicken Wrap is seriously spectacular! I have been craving it since the last bite of my last one. Yes, it's THAT good! One suggestion: It would be nice to serve the wrap with a side salad or something other than potato chips. Every else in the cafe is so healthy and fresh that the potato chips stand out in dramatic contrast. If you love Mediterranean/Greek cuisine, try this place. You won't be disappointed. This is a small Mediterranean restaurant with limited sitting and street parking only. Food is great. I tried the chipotle chicken and it was a little spicy. I also ordered a side of humus and it was good. I'll come back and perhaps try their gyros sometime. They also deliver. read more

It was a pretty good Mediterranean place. The atmosphere was really lively and jazzy. It was a fair price! I got the lamb gyro and it was good. I felt like the meat was little bit flavorless. But when in the gyro it was really good. Their dolma was pretty good. And I highly suggest that you get a Australian sofa from the vending machines you won't be disappointed! Had lunch here yesterday with my wife. Everyone is right. The Chipotle Chicken Wrap is delicious! You can tell the owners take pride in their business by the way they treat their customers like old friends. Everything is made to order in front of you. The kitchen is spotless and you can feel the buzz as customers stream in and out of this place. Kababs are great and sides are just as good. Let me start off by saying that I love places that appear to be owner/operated because they seem to care more about the product and services they provide and ensure a great customer experience. My girlfriend and I were in town to go to a show and thought this place met that criteria. With that being said, this place hits on all those fronts! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were more than willing to answer a couple questions about the menu, as I was not all that familiar with some of the items. The food seemed to be all home-made in-house from what I could tell, including the fresh pita, and it all tasted great! I'd give the food a 4.5. We had an order of the Lamb Gyro, a Falafel Gyro, and a side each of Hummus and Dolma. The Gyros were very good portions and both tasted pretty good with plenty of toppings and didn't skimp on the tzatziki (Persian yogurt). While the hummus was good, it didn't blow my mind, but the fresh pita that accompanied it was amazing. The Dolmas are always a favorite of mine, and these didn't disappoint, not to mention it was a good portion and only for $3.99! Because it was our first time there, the chef (possibly the owner) threw in a free Greek salad for us (part of the great customer service I was referring to). But don't mention I told you that, I mean how's he supposed to make a living giving away stuff for free? ;) Let me finish this review by saying, if you're in the area, you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't give this place a try. It's a bit off the beaten path (it's not downtown), but that's part of the charm of it. Besides, why would you want to go where it's so damn crowded, over-hyped and over priced when you can come to a cool little place with a personality and has great food, not to mention great prices? It's a shame this place isn't in my neighborhood, otherwise I'd be there every week! *(reason I didn't give it a 5 star review- there's always room for improvement, and it seems like parking may be somewhat tricky.
