price - $25 including tax and tip food - 4/5 service - 5/5 ambiance - 4/5 I ordered the chicken pad see ew lunch special and it came with spring roll salad, edamame, 2 slices of orange and a complementary drink of the day called sunset lemonade. the food was pretty good considering that the lunch menu price was $15.95 for chicken pad see ew. the service and ambiance were both amazing as well! on the contrary, there was no air conditioner when I went in 100 degrees weather so sitting indoors with only a fan made me feel a bit uncomfortable. besides that, I think if you check out the restaurant when it's much cooler, you would definitely have a better experience! definitely check this place out when you get the chance!

Came here with friends on a busy day and was happy to get seated. The drinks are SO FUN. My friend got the pina colada that comes fully in a pineapple, it was great. I had the shrimp pad thai which was delicious. Great options for vegetarian and gluten free friends. This was during the nyc heat wave and they unfortunately don't/didn't have central AC, so it was toasty, but the vibes made up for it. Great spot!

Had dinner at Lemongrass on Court St in Brooklyn with my little one. Ordered the crab fried rice--on its own it was nothing special, but once I mixed it with the sauce on the side, the flavor really came through. What worked well for me as a parent: I could scoop out a plain portion for my kid first, then mix the sauce into the rest. One dish, two ways. The clam soup was quite savory, no fishy taste, and the clams were tender. The broth had that Thai-style sourness that wakes up your appetite. The shrimp the server brought out was crispy with a creamy sweet glaze--enjoyable to eat. The short rib was tender and well seasoned. Also tried two non-alcoholic drinks--the mulberry one leaned more fruity and tart, while the rose one had a noticeable floral aroma. Neither was overly sweet; both were refreshing. Overall a comfortable meal, the kind of place I'd go back to.

I loved everything about this restaurant! We love Thai food and we're so excited to try this Brooklyn Thai restaurant. The staff were so great and helped us order some amazing dishes. Haven't been here in years! But last Sunday I decided to stop in around 8pm to grab a bite. It was so packed when we arrived, I didn't think we were going to get a table but luckily we were able to snag a table right away since it was just 2 of us. The service was good, nothing too spectacular or overly friendly but it was quick and efficient. We had a young lady that was training, so she was being guided by someone else but she did a good job. Drinks: w head the cha-ba and the passion fruit margarita. The cha-ba was a big miss but the passion fruit margarita was great! Food: we had the shrimp roll to start. It came out piping hot and was flavorful and the sweet chili sauce complimented it well. For entrees we had the pad Thai noodle with chicken and the pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp. Both dishes came out hot and fresh. The pineapple fried rice was a big serving and it was very good! The pad Thai serving was more on the smaller side. I wish I would've asked if they could make it spicy because I requested chili oil after to add to it but they didn't have. Spice aside, the flavors were great!

Lemongrass Brooklyn never disappoints in their detailed presentations!!! Their summer cocktails served inside fresh fruit were such a fun touch and felt like we were on vacation. The Watermelon Margarita was refreshing and the Piña Colada was the perfect tropical treat. We started with the Lychee Shrimp and the Thai Grilled Beef salad, both packed with flavor to kick off the meal. For our mains, my favorite order was the Whole Fried Branzino with spicy choo chee curry on the side. My go-to order stole the show as it was crispy, tender, and spicy. The Khao Moo Dang my friends mentioned was both tasty satisfying. The Brooklyn Steak came sizzling and was juicy and cooked perfectly Of course, we couldn't leave without dessert. I came here for dinner with my family. The decor was very colorful and aesthetic. We ordered the BBQ beef ribs, the lemongrass pork chop, and the char siu and crab over dry egg noodles. All the dishes tasted really sweet for some reason especially the char siu. The portions were large though. Service was friendly and fast. I think this place seems to be focused more on being trendy than having good food so if you care more about atmosphere, this is the place for you.

They sure can pack a lot of people into a small space! So don't go here if you don't like crowds! Service was super quick though. I appreciate how quickly everything was brought out. Drinks were fine, a little under sweetened. Food was good, small portions than typical for Thai, but you could tell these dishes were made with higher quality ingredients (the fried rice didn't taste so oily)! Great spot for date night!

We've been to Lemongrass Brooklyn a few times now, and every time we go, the atmosphere is what sticks with me the most. The inside is honestly beautiful. They have these decorations hanging from the ceiling, and they switch things up for the holidays, so it always feels warm and fun. There's usually good music playing too, which adds to the whole vibe. It's almost always busy, no matter when you show up. We've even gone at 9 p.m. thinking it would be quiet, and it was still packed. The staff is always really friendly and efficient, especially considering how much they have going on. Because it's such a lively spot, little things do slip through the cracks sometimes. There was one time when our order never made it to the kitchen and we had to reorder after about twenty minutes, and another time when my shrimp fried rice came out as pork instead. None of it was a huge deal, and they were genuinely apologetic both times, but it's something to keep in mind if you're going in with a tight schedule. As for the food, I really enjoy it. It's not the most traditional Thai food I've ever had, and it's definitely not very spicy, but the flavors are good and the portions are generous. I'm always impressed by the freshness and quality of the meat and vegetables. The shrimp, the grilled pork, the veggies, everything always tastes fresh and well cooked, and they give you plenty of protein and vegetables so your dish never feels like it's mostly rice or noodles. Some of my go to dishes are the pineapple fried rice, the panang curry, the basil stir fry, and the shrimp woonseen. The shrimp in that one are huge and really flavorful. Honestly, you can't go wrong with much on the menu. Overall, it's a great spot with good food, great vibes, and really kind people. If you're not in a rush, I definitely recommend checking it out, and it's worth making a reservation since it fills up fast.

I was taken here on a surprise first date. Apparently, this establishment is well known on TikTok (I don't use TikTok). The ambiance is beautiful. Very quaint place with great food. This was also my first time trying Thai food and it didn't disappoint. The staff is kind and the food came out rather quickly even though they were busy. We had missed our reservation time but they were able to accommodate us anyway. I got the basil fried rice (I heard this is a staple) with shrimp and a Thai tea. I liked everything. The food was so flavorful. If you're unsure , Go!

Amazing atmosphere, great service, tasty food. My daughter wanted Thai but couldn't get to Sea. This restaurant isn't bad and comparing with others in the area, I give Lemongrass 5stars. We got there just before closing but did not feel rushed. Still pretty busy at that point and lively. The service, which is important to me was beyond outstanding. Highly recommend their pineapple fried rice and the lemongrass pork chops. I could have eaten twice the amount of just the chops...delicious. I had a coconut Mohito and it was different from my usual Mohito. I don't drink often so please don't think I'm an expert on this subject but the coconut Mohito was tasty not strong at all but good. Top notch Thai food in Brooklyn. The interior was beautiful and it wasn't too bad to sit outside. The drinks were 10/10. We had the pineapple and the watermelon drinks. They are a must and very strong. The servers were really nice and the food was delicious. The food also came out fast. I really enjoyed the Tom Yum Soup. Make sure you make reservations because they are very busy. The green curry was great too, not spicy at all. If you order the prawn or the jumbo shrimp, you will have to peel it, so if you don't want to do that, I would an alternative. read more

After a movie last night, three of us went to Lemongrass for dinner. It is a comfortable restaurant with a friendly staff and pretty good food. We began with vegetarian crispy rolls that were nothing special but plentiful and grilled chicken wings that were exceptionally delicious. For our main courses we ordered Pad Thai that was tasty and plentiful and a beef with peanut dish. The beef was not as tender as we had expected but it was flavorful and the sauce was excellent. The check with a 20% tip and tax came to $19 a person. I would definitely eat here again....3.5 rounded up for friendly service! read more

I am extremely disappointed with Lemongrass customers service yesterday. We had a reservation but we still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Then to top it off my husband never received his food and my son received his jasmine rice 5 minutes before we left. We asked our server several times for their food and he just kept saying in a minute. Finally my husband flagged someone else down and asked them to remove his order from the check so he can pay the bill. Tried to ruin my Mother's Day! read more

horrible ,made a 6:30 reservation two days ago , arrived 6:25 to a line that was out the door with people waiting to be seated,then it took another 15 min before any waiter/sever stopped to answer my question about my reservation and when would we be seated as i was here with my girlfriend for mother's day ... he took my name then walked off never to be seen again.. now it's around 6:50-6:55 and i walk inside to see what's the holdup, and it's LITERALLY jam-packed in the doorway i can't even get anyone's attention another 5 or so min go by then a server comes by and starts taking names and reservation times on receipt paper from everyone that's waiting inside then she goes outside and does the same then again disappears back into the restaurant... my girlfriend was visibly annoyed so we just decided to walk and find another restaurant to celebrate... very bad 1st impression but i'm not going to write them off yet only because it's mother's day ,but they really need to get some organization to better serve people it's as if they're not use to having such big crowds read more

I always have a good time when I come to Lemongrass Grill. It's the kind of place that you kind of just stumble upon and decide to try it because you are feeling adventurous. No worries you will leave feeling satisfied. Everything that I have tried has been delicious. I start off with an order of extra crispy fried calamari with spicy chili sauce instead of the sweet sauce that comes with it. I usually opt for rice over noodles when it comes to ordering my entree. The drinks are always strong and the last time that I visited on a Friday they had a 2-for-1 offer on drinks. The service was attentive without being overbearing. I always leave room for dessert which hits the spot. I love this place which means a lot because Thai is never my first choice when choosing where to eat! read more

This place was not only beautiful but the food was fantastic. The Tom Yum Goong is flavored so well and it's the best broth I've had. The level of spicy is perfect. The crab rangoons are a classic and of course we're delicious as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! You won't be disappointed going here. EATS: Crab rangoon, Grilled wings I've eaten here many times over the years, especially during the amazing lunch deal. Recently stopped in for some appetizers and I could not believe how yummy they were. Being in NYC, I eat a lot of thai food and most of it tastes the same but I was super impressed by the quality of the meat and flavors coming through the dishes. I just got my Uber eats order and wow... this is the worst Thai food that I've had In my entire life. Curry puffs suck, chicken mango was awful, the beef pad Thai was dry and it didn't taste like pad Thai at all... I really hate the fact that I spent $80 on something that went straight to the trash can!!!! read more

I love this place! Ambiance is beautiful! Cocktails were great, well balanced - the coconut mojito taste like vacation in a drink! if you like passion fruit definitely try the Bussarakam 10/10. Absolutely loved all of the food that i had, but the star of the show was definitely the deep fried red snapper with the thai garlic sauce- AMAZING! I cannot wait to come back to try more! read more

I placed a $117 on-line order with Lemongrass. It never arrived! I called the restaurant 3 times to inquire about my delivered and they curtly replied that the delivery service they use is a third party delivery service and they had no control over outstanding deliveries! After the 3rd call I asked the restaurant to refund my money and cancel the order. They said they would call me back in 5 minutes. They never called back. Absolutely astounding! NEVER again will I order from Lemongrass!!!! Now it seems that I will have to fight for my money!!! BEWARE ON-LINE SUCKERS!!! read more

We ordered the mango shrimp salad, fresh rolls with tofu and Brooklyn Steak, all so well flavored and balanced with spices and fresh ingredients! The ambiance was wonderful, with a large bouquet of lemon trees crawling across the restaurant and all over the outdoor seating. I love crab Rangoon, but their crab Rangoon? I don't know what they do to it, but I kid you not.. it is literal sex in your mouth. The fresh, and warm bites make you want to just sit there and savor every last bit! Their pineapple fried rice was the best I've ever had. I ordered it with chicken as my meat, and they are not stingy with the meat like other restaurants are, so LOVED that! Their service on the other hand, can be worked on. They took a while to take my order, and would just go missing - so I kinda had to "hunt" down the waiter every time I needed her attention. But other than this, their food is 10/10! read more

I've been here numerous times for their lunch special, which is probably the best deal you'll find on Court Street besides pizza I guess. Today I stopped by for dinner, we had fried calamari and Pork Pad Thai. The food was sizzling hot and spicy, it was also very tasty. Being that I'm almost a regular at this place, the service has always been great. The only issue I can say is not about this really affordable spot it's about the street parking, if you're walking you'll be fine. I recommend you check out their lunch special. read more

However, I believe this situation could have been handled with greater compassion and understanding, given that the group consisted of individuals with disabilities who rely on packed lunches due to financial limitations. As someone who has consistently supported your establishment, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and empathy shown. A Flavor journey To Thailand in Lemongrass Brooklyn. Step into Lemongrass Brooklyn and you will find yourself instantly transported to the heart of Thailand. My recent visit to this hidden gem left me completely enamored and compelled to share my delightful experience. Upon entering Lemongrass Brooklyn, I was instantly captivated by its charming ambiance, adorned with beautiful Thai Decor and warm welcoming hues. The friendly staff greeted me with genuine smile. The menus offered an impressive selection of classic Thai dishes, making it hard to choose just a few. But fortunately with the help of their friendly and knowledgeable stuff , i finally settles on some dish they recommended. Their cocktail menu was inventive. We order the Coconut Mojito and Watermelon Margarita. It was beautifully decorated. The culinary adventure began with a choice of traditional Thai Starter . I couldn't resist trying the satay chicken, and it certainly did not disappoint. The marination was exceptional, the sauce come with it was so good. Next we order the Fried Shrimp Dumpling . What truly set these Fried dumpling was the ingenious combination of textures. The outside boasted the perfect crunch, while the inside held a tender and juicy shrimp filling that won a pleasure to savor. Moving on to the main entrees. The whole Red Snapper ( Deep Fried ) with Thai Chili Garlic Sauce. The fish was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. The Thai Garlic sauce had just the right balance of heat, sweetness and tanginess , making each bite a burst of delighful flavors. Next up was from Lemongrass Grill Special Menu. We order Oceans Four. It comes with Jumbo shrimp, squid , scallop and big mussel with coconut milk , basil leaves, string bean, pineapples and pepper in penang curry sauce. It was so yummy. Throughout the meal , the staff remained attentive, ensuring my dining experience was nothing sort of exceptional. And then came the grand Finale. The Mango with Sticky rice. Fresh slice of ripe mangoes were accompanied by a generous serving of coconut infuse sticky rice providing a delightful contrast of sweet and savory. Overall, the service and food quality were highly unsatisfactory. I would give them one star out of a hundred. Regarding the food, we ordered one appetizer and three dishes. While the appetizer was not entirely disappointing, the dishes were severely lacking in quality. Two pine apple fried rices and Pad see ew were ordered. The pine apple fried rice was not well-balanced, and the portion size was excessive without any discernible benefit. The Pad see ew was accompanied by an unpleasant odor emanating from the pork used in the dish, which caused us significant discomfort. As a result, we left most of the dishes and declined to take food boxes for leftovers. Despite these circumstances, we were not inquired about the quality of the dishes. The service was equally disappointing. While we understood that the restaurant should accommodate our entire family of four in one small table for multiple reservations, the servers failed to adequately manage our table. When serving our dishes, they placed them on a small table, without taking any care of limited space unfriendly. We had to make specific arrangements to ensure that our food was accommodated. Given these unfortunate experiences, I felt compelled to withhold a service tip. Surprisingly, our bill included a 20% service charge, which was not disclosed to us by our server during our initial order. When I expressed my deep disappointment, I received a response that lacked any genuine apology. There were several individuals in line when I left, and I almost expressed my concern that they were jeopardizing their last day of the year. I've passed by this place a few times before, thinking to myself how nice the place looked, but haven't gotten the chance until now . They have quite a large menu with a good variety of Thai dishes as well as interesting cocktails. Some dishes that we tried were the fried whole Snapper (fish) w/ the Choo chee curry, a seafood pineapple fried rice, Thai Country Style fried dumplings, and the Thai style steak salad. My favorite was the fried fish because it was so nicely presented, and the fish was nice and crispy (just like the ones I've had in Thailand). The fried dumplings were also very yummy . For dessert, we had their newly updated version of mango sticky rice as well as this new banana pudding dessert. Their mango sticky rice was amazing! It comes with housemade mango ice cream (with mango chunks in it) over mango chunks and then paired with fresh, sweet, sticky rice . Tbh, I think it was perfect. For the banana pudding, I'm not sure if it's limited-time or anything (I visited around Valentines day), but it had this fun, heart-shaped chocolate on top paired with a rock candy lollipop to break the heart shell . That was quite fun. Other than food, we also tried their cocktails. We got their Valentines day special drink : Scarlett Kiss (which looked very cute!), and the Ploy pairin drink. Both were quite tasty and contained a good amount of alcohol . Overall, I'd come here again. It's a nice and cozy spot with good food and vibes . read more

Came here for my best friend's birthday dinner and it couldn't have been a better experience! I made a reservation ahead of time since they're usually busy definitely recommend doing the same. The ambience is beautiful: cozy lighting, lots of flowers, and such warm, welcoming vibes. The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive the entire evening. We started with two cocktails the Piña Colada served in a pineapple and the Tong Rumpai. Both drinks were strong, refreshing, and beautifully presented with tropical fruit and orchids. For appetizers, we ordered the Crab Rangoon and Curry Puffs, and they were both absolutely delicious. Perfectly crispy, flavorful, and well-seasoned. For our entrées, we shared the Chicken Fried Rice served in a pineapple and the Pad See Ew with shrimp both dishes were flavorful and satisfying, with generous portions and beautiful presentation. To finish the night, we had the Mango Sticky Rice, which they surprised us with a little birthday candle and a sweet song for my best friend. I hadn't even requested that they just noticed the note on my reservation. Such a thoughtful gesture that made the evening extra special! Everything from the food to the service to the atmosphere was amazing. The journey began with a glance at the carefully crafted cocktail menu, and we found ourselves enticed by Coconutmojito and Tong Rumpai. The Coconutmojito, a tropical symphony of triple sec, coconut puree, rum, and Malibu rum, arrived in a real coconut, garnished with fresh mint. The Tong Rumpai, with its harmonious mix of mango, triple sec, tequila, and sour notes, was equally good. For appetizers, we savored the Chicken Satay on skewers, accompanied by a tantalizing peanut sauce and cucumber salad. The Crispy Duck Bao, which came with organic spring mix, scallion, and cilantro, drizzled with sweet miso sauce, proved to be a culinary masterpiece that left us delightfully satisfied, and surprisingly full. My husband and I, being big fans of seafood, tried the Seafood Casserole. The food here is outstanding--my wife could honestly eat it twice a week if I let her. The yellow curry and green curry are both phenomenal. I usually get mine with chicken and shrimp, while she goes for chicken with extra vegetables, and both are always spot-on. The appetizers are just as impressive. As you walk through the doors you enter a beautiful floral oasis with neon lighting and amazing murals The atmosphere is so inviting and the menu is amazing with a fantastic range of appetizers, salads, soups, bao, grill and curry dishes as well as fantastic drinks including fantastic cocktails We started with the watermelon margarita and the coconut mojito which were so refreshing and beautifully presented For appetizers we had the perfectly crispy pork belly bao and the delicious duck salad and for mains we had the Tom Yum Goong creamy with mushroom and jumbo shrimp and the BBQ beef short ribs with teriyaki sauce Everything was SO so delicious - such sophisticated, complex and authentic flavors with perfectly cooked meats and fresh vegetables And even though we were veritably full we couldn't resist dessert of their vanilla green tea fried cheesecake and chocolate lava cake Needless to say, it was phenomenal. I had an amazing time at Lemon Grass! I visited for the first time with my sister and we loved everything. To start off, the interior was really cute and cozy. We started with drinks - Morakot and Coconut Mojito. I have a big sweet tooth so I loved my Coconut Mojito. Morakot has a strong taste. We then had appetizers - Satay Chicken and Lemon Grass Chicken Wing. The satay sauce was amazing and chicken was really soft. For entrees, we got Rack of Lamb and Tom Yum Goong Creamy. The lamb was really tender. The tom yum soop was amazing!! I'm a big soup person and the taste was just right, a mix of sweet and sour. For dessert, we got the classic Mango Sticky Rice and it was so good. Mango was just right and the rice was just perfect. I usually don't get that for dessert but they made it so well. 10/10 service and ambiance - would definitely recommend! read more
