Stopped in during a road trip for a late dinner and was looking forward to a Leo's quality meal. The service was friendly enough but the food was def not up to par with what I'm used to from other locations. The lemon rice soup was as thick as chili, the coney was sad looking and cold, as were the anemic looking fries. Only the Greek salads seemed up to snuff. I was with a group, and I should have said something, and I did tell the cashier. I got a hair in my burger. I ordered the California burger with sweet potato fries. The fries were a bit overdone. The last meal I ordered there was an omelette, and I can make better at home. I have no idea if they wear nets on their hair when cooking, but they should. Horrendous experience and will be putting this location on the "never again" list. (And we used to be frequent goers of this establishment) We walked in on a Sunday morning surprised at how empty it was. Then soon discovered why... Waited 4 minutes to be seated. Waited another 4 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Then there was mass confusion who our server was and was asked all the same questions twice. Ordered a half order of pancakes and bacon - received a full order of pancakes and no bacon. No coffee refill, no straws, no check back during our meal. Even on my first day as a server, I wasn't this incompetent. Scrolling instagram on 4-20 made me mad hungry. Seems like everyone was indulging in their junk food cravings and sharing them. I held out, swearing I would make the healthy dinner I had planned, until I saw someone posting some chili cheese fries I knew it had to be done. I put the ingredients I had taken out of the fridge and placed an order with this Leo's which has, somewhat recently, opened on the west side of town. I grew up with a Leo's round the corner from my house in Dearborn and it was definitely a spot my friends and I hit with some regularity so I was excited to revisit it here. Chili cheese fries and hot dogs can be a hit or miss delivery but these were a hit. Of course, your fries do get soggy but, thanks to the toppings, that would have happened with or without delivery. Hot dogs arrived in great shape, too. My husband upgraded his to coney dogs and he also reported good results. I'll definitely be ordering again. Went here today as I was waiting for some warranty work at a car dealership down the street. Very nice experience. Clean, friendly service and a huge menu. Got the #1 breakfast special and it was prepared so quick! Very tasty and a good location with good prices. You really do get a generous portion compared to what you pay. Terrible experience. I ordered takeout cheeseburger and fries. The fries were soggy and half dumped on top of the open burger, so most of the cheese attached to the fries and left no cheese for the burger, cheese I paid extra for. Like most Leo's I've been to...it was OK. My wife and I both ordered the gyro wrap. Plenty of meat, though it was a little dry. A lot more raw onion on it than needed, we thought. I had the mini Greek salad on the side, and the lettuce was wilty. We were seated, had our order taken, and got our food quickly. Getting out of there was more of a problem. Took a long time get our bill, and once I did get to the register the line (I was 3rd in it) didn't move for a while. The cashier was taking phone orders, handing out orders to people picking up, and telling the person in the front of the line she'd be with him shortly. Finally someone else came to the register and started ringing people up. I know a lot of places are short staffed now, so I won't hold our slow exit against them too much. Our first trip to the new Leo's on Zeeb rd. Leo's has a reputation in these parts for fantastic eggs, amazing blueberry pancakes, and consistency. This one was not. It's just.... Different. You go to a chain, you expect the same. The space is very large high ceilings and quite, despite 50% capacity filled. No music. Everyone whispering at their tables so not to echo in the dining area. It was different and a bit uncomfortable. The service was great. The parking lot tiny but there is more parking in back w separate entrance. The food was good. Service, excellent. As most Michiganders would know, Leo's Coney Island restaurants are a major player in the Michigan Coney market with an astonishing 69 restaurant locations in the Mitten State. This was my second visit to this relatively new restaurant that opened in Scio Township about six months ago in late 2020. My first visit, within the first week of their grand opening, was nothing short of a major disappointment based on several faux pas. I was frankly embarrassed for them and chalked it up to the all-too-common start-up and launch issues. Fast forward six months. Today, I phoned in an takeout order for a pair of custom prepared omelettes. My order deviated from the standard menu and threw a curveball at them requesting sliced tomatoes in place of hash browns and English muffins in place of toast. I was surprised and favorably impressed with the cheerful and accommodating attitude of the woman I spoke with by phone. She listened intently to the details of my order and assured me that it would be ready for pickup in just 10 minutes, despite this being peak breakfast time on Easter Sunday. Upon arriving, I was greeted at the hostess station and escorted to the takeout counter. My order was securely bagged up and had all the accompaniments, plastic utensils, napkins, etc. Payment was super quick and efficient and I was home in a flash. My wife and I both found our omelettes to be really awesome and exactly as ordered. I'm so glad I held back my initial review and I'm equally stoked to award four shiny stars to Leo's for a job well done on a very busy Easter Sunday morning. Perhaps the 4th of July was the wrong day to visit here. Don't know if there is a good day. Won't know as I don't intend to try. Took two waitresses to decide which of the 6 or so open booths close to the door we should sit. My husband was standing there with a walker but it didn't speed them up. Once we were seated and got menus and drinks the waitress asked if we needed more time. We did. So she went over to a booth visited with a friend, counted her tips, read her a emails and then disappeared. After 15 minutes of her not coming back. We went out to dinner at 7:20pm and were greeted with a waitresses who we had to ask if they were truly open until 9pm as we could not tell be "friendliness " . My wife ordered a skillet with hash browns and I ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken. She got country potatoes and the waitresses argued with her stating that the potato wedges were in fact hash browns. Though when you order hash browns with your omelet you get shredded potatoes which is what my wife tried to order. No offer to make it right. My meal came without the chicken. I could not let the waitresses know I was missing the chicken as she never came back. Leo's is one of my favorite standard Coney Islands. They have a broad menu with all of the breakfast and Greek diner food one expects from a Coney Island. Their Village Salad, which is a Greek salad without the lettuce that so many lesser restaurants use as a short cut, sets this place apart. I gave it 4 instead of 5 because the Chicago Dog was a bit of a disappointment. They could at least put on a pickle speer. Still, absent some unique local places, that serve Salvadoran food as well, Leo's is the best standard Coney Island I know of. read more

Leo's Coney on Zeeb Road has a really good menu selection and the food is very good. The wait staff is friendly and the facility is new. The music is the only downside. It's geared to a younger crowd and would even be more tolerable if the volume was turned down to a reasonable level. One expects loud music in a nightclub where people are drinking and dancing, but not in a diner where you're trying to enjoy a meal and conversation. It's not pleasant competing with the music while trying to talk to other people in your party. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because of the music. read more
