Did I just spent $20 on bagel? Did I just break my lunch budget? Was it good? Yes! I won't be coming here every day but the bagels were lighter and fresher than other places. The lox was sliced nicely and fresh and I couldn't tell the cream cheese was tofu. The tomato slices and onions were thinly sliced and the whole sandwich was packed nice and tight, including the capers. Will be coming back but probably make my sandwich less fancy. Just lox and cream cheese and some tomatoes and onions next time..

I tried the local Bagels and breakfast spot in the financial district of New York City. It's OK spot if you're stopping in for a bagel and spread or a breakfast sandwich Service is pretty quick. I will say they have pretty good music playing while you are waiting for your order!

Zero taste... really confused why this place exists. No line and did I mention, zero taste? We got the Everything with Sundried tomatoes and Garlic cream cheese (no taste) Super disappointing!

Although this place was packed with people, the line was well organized, staff handed out menus and the cashier was calm and pleasant. The restaurant was clearly used to handling a busy bagel shop on the weekend and they were very efficient. The food was ready fairly quickly. The bagels were really fresh and the perfect combination of a bit of chewy texture on the exterior and softness inside.

Coming here, it didn't seem too busy today. I got their belly lox bagel. For the bagel, I had egg everything. I usually get either strawberry cream cheese or scallion cream cheese, but I saw that they had a sun dried tomato and roasted garlic cream cheese and decided to get it. I don't usually see that personally so I was glad to try something different!

Really, really good NYC bagels. Warm and chewy, with just the right amount of bite! They even have delicious gluten free bagels! Stopped by for breakfast in the Financial District before heading to Wall Street and the WTC. Service was friendly and efficient. It was a bit crowded, which is a sign of a great eatery, but we didn't wait long. Limited counter seating inside. Clean, bright, great vibes.

I ordered a Too Good To Go surprise bag from here and was pleasantly surprised! I was given more than a dozen bagels of different varieties and all very fresh! Fresh being the kind where the bite is soft and chewy. The bagels are also pretty sizable! I can't speak about ambiance or service, as I was only there to pick up the bagels. But, 12+ fresh bagels for $5.99 is a deal! I appreciated the owner waiting for me as I arrived slightly after the pick-up time. Based on the bagels alone, I'd give this place 5-stars and I'd most definitely welcome returning here for a proper meal.

we came at around 3pm on a saturday afternoon. it was not super busy at this time. i wanted to pay cash but their cash register that took cash was being sorted at the moment, so i had to pay card, which was a bit annoying but not the biggest deal. given that the store wasn't too busy, our bagels were ready in just a few minutes. they hand you the bagel over the counter with a smile which is a nice touch haha. these bagels were HEFTY and thick. i got the whole shebang on an untoasted plain bagel. the bagel texture was perfect, a nice crisp exterior with the perfect chewy soft inside. the cream cheese was delicious and as with any cream cheese nova bagel, the flavors all just melded together so perfectly with the tangy and soft cream cheese, the crunchy cucumber, sour capers, and melt in your mouth nova. this was just a perfect bagel sandwich. i was sad when i took my last bite. as per nyc standards, this bagel came out to $18, quite expensive. but i'm thankful that at least it was so so delectable.

Excellent New York Bagels! We stayed in this neighborhood on our last visit to NY and I decided to try Leo's Bagels. Very happy to report that their BEC sandwich was just perfect.

Perfect texture, something NYC can proudly own about our bagels, and the cream cheese was just right! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Anyways, the girls had bookmarked another bagel establishment but the line was hella long like they were giving away Knicks gear for free. Ironically another "bagel shop" search on Yelp showed PopUp Bagels was like three doors down lol. No line! That in itself was making me question but there is a PopUp in San Diego that my daughter swears by. PopUp advertised itself as "Not Famous, but known." Whether or not this bagel is better than the one store three doors up is something I cannot attest to. However I can say THIS WAS A DANG GOOD BAGEL! And it was freshly made! How do I know? It literally burned my fingers when I ripped it open! The pain was worth it. Outside, a slightly crisp texture generously coated with "Everything". Inside was a dense and chewy dough that was pliable but able to withstand the dipping and shmearing of cream cheese (which was smooth). Best I have ever had for sure but then again my most common bagel experience is the place named after a scientist where tons of bagels are sitting in bins for who knows how long. So why wasn't this a 5-star experience? One, I only ate one thing. Two, sevice and setting are "just there". Considering it wasn't busy I would expect a bit more of a welcome. To eat you're bagel you can full on just leave, sit at the three stools inside where it is super hot (bc hey they actually cook), or three stand outside. There is a little, I'll say "patio", where you can stand, eat, and true story, watch two people argue about who gets to sort through the recyclables from the neighborhood eateries. Snack and a show???? I just stood near the door and enjoyed my bagel.
