Located on the corner of 19th & Mission. This cart serves bacon wrapped dogs and if you want it fully loaded, expect mayo, mustard & ketchup, onions & peppers, and jalapeños to boot! For $3 this is one of the true bargains you'll find in the Mission. Came here around midnight after a few pours of bourbon around the corner. Tasted good at midnight and I'm sure they'll taste just as good at 5PM too! This is a cash only business. For larger parties I recommend making reservations. Lol My only regret is not ordering 2.

Place is good and the food too. My problem was parking so if you're running late you might have to be going around for a while

Definitely my go to whenever I'm out drinking every weekend in the Mission. The owners are really nice as well. Worth the $4.

Sure there are plenty of hot dog stands in the mission, but somehow this one stands out!

I also love how quick the service is - I never have to wait more than a minute for my order! The food is also always pipping hot. My regular orders on rotation (I'd give them all 5 stars!): Chicken Momos ($14) - Comes in 8 pieces. The dumplings are large, flavorful, with the perfect skin-to-meat ratio. It is served with Bini's spicy tomato cilantro sauce on top; the sauce is delicious with just a slight/mild kick. Vegetarian Momos ($12) - Comes in 8 pieces. Vegan dumplings filled with tofu, carrots, & cabbage. Also served with the spicy tomato cilantro sauce on top. I love how clean yet tasty this is! Vegetarian Combo ($18) - Comes with 4 vegetarian momos and one veggie side served on top of fragrant basmati rice. For the sides, I love the Baigun Bharta, a tomato-based braised eggplant. It's saucey and pairs extremely well with the rice. The only reason I'd dock off half a star for this combo is the price. You can also mix and match the momos. For a more balanced meal, I request half chicken and half vegetarian ($14). Bini's also has a stand outside the Ferry Building every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. I'd like to give a shoutout to the Bini's servers at the Ferry Building - they're very generous & usually give me 9 pieces of momos whenever I ask for half chicken and half vegetarian (usually 4 chicken & 5 vegetarian).

Instagram and Twitter also aren't updated, so I don't know how to get my Kettlepop fix. I caught them for the Civic Center holiday tree lighting ceremony on a Wednesday. I returned back to the farmer's market the following Wednesday and asked the workers and there was no Kettlepop stand at that market. (I've been going to that farmer's market for 2 years and haven't seen it, so it checks out.) But...so delicious and still relatively low calorie. I can gulp down the $20 large bag in a few days. Yeah it's $20 for a big bag now. Obviously order it with the bag open for some extra kettlecorn goodness.

The kettle corn place is usually closer to Market with the other hot food/lunch stands on Wednesday. On Friday, they're on the other side, closer to Hyde. I got the ginormous largest size for 10 dollars. The next size down is 8, but pretty much half the size. The choice was easy for me. I paid with credit card. I got a newly popped batch. The guy there filled the bag to the brim, and twisty-tied the end- you can hold it by that end (it does hold up well) and close the bag with twisty tie later. Honestly it did take a lot of popcorn eating to get it down to a point where I could close the bag, which is great. They also have caramel corn and some other selection popped within the last day, but I've only seen the kettle corn fresh. This kettle corn is super tasty and so fresh, and definitely great to share and snack on.

I like to call their platters "homemade meals prepared by a loving grandmother." Trust me, I spent a summer in New Delhi and ate a lot of home cooked meals by my host, and Munch manages to exceed those standards. Every time I come here, I get the Vegetarian Combo for $14. It comes with three different veggie sides - today, there was potato, okra, and chickpeas. (The sides rotate. I've also had eggplant, tomatoes, and zucchini here, though chickpeas seem to be a staple.) I'm not a vegetarian, but if I could eat this every day, I gladly would become one. Tips: - COME HERE FOR LUNCH. DO IT. - Munch India has a twitter account where they post updates - they'll usually post whether they'll be at a particular location, so check the page first (@munchindia) before coming. Self-important suits come to the FiDi trucks, and for heaven's sake, don't talk to them because they are too busy multi-tasking on their smartphones. And yes, I'm talking about women as much as men. They represent an equal-opportunity species of smug entitlement. Such is the case whenever I see this familiar navy blue Indian food truck parked on California at lunchtime during the week (photo: http://bit.ly/1QJi5Ln). The menu is surprisingly diverse for a food truck given the space constraints. I had the $10 Vegetarian Combo, which provides three veggie dishes, dal, rice and naan. The veggie dishes that day were Chana Masala (savory chick peas), Okra Bhaji (fried and curried okra) and boiled carrots from Riverdog Farms (photo: http://bit.ly/1MxBtY7). The okra was the best of the bunch with a spicy edge that cut through the sauce. I like how the owner makes a special point of using organic ingredients in his various stews. There was plenty of basmati rice to sop it up though the naan was a bit skimpy crumbled in the aluminium foil. It all came in an easily transportable covered tray that allowed me to avoid the suits. There are apparently several of these parked around downtown, but my go-to spot is the cart parked right next to the Amazon Go store on California. It's a bit of a walk from my office, but the radiating heat from the cart and aroma of sweet chicken juice makes the trip all the more worth it. I usually get the half chicken with 1/2 brussel sprouts and 1/2 potatoes, because how can you turn down potatoes roasted in chicken fat? This alone is enough to be split into two servings (and/or feed a small family for sure). Such a cool concept and the portions are totally worth it for the price.
