Normally don't come to this Les Schwab decided to because my tires needed to be rotated and I did have a check my tire pressure light, upon their review the tire boy said I needed a new tire and that there was a nail in my tire that was pressing into my side wall causing thread to burst and would soon cause bubbling and could explode my tire and wouldn't let me leave without buying a tire or taking my spare out from the bottom of my car to leave.. I personally though that this was a little odd and decided to opt out of the 300$ option he presented me I must have today before leaving for a singular tire he was trying to sell me, asked for my car back took my tire to a local tire shop where the guy pulled the nail out, confirmed there was ZERO side wall or ZERO thread damage and patched the hole and sent me on my way with ZERO charge .... I would personally never bring my car to this Les Schwab ever and recommend avoiding big corrupt company's trying to make a quick penny in any situation they can in general extremely crazy to me. read more

So for the last week I have been noticing that my tires are starting to look rough, but not to the point where they need to be replaced. Last weekend the wife and I went into the this Tire Center and asked about getting my tires rotated because they are overdue and its clear they need to have something done to them. So the lady we spoke to said that she would make an appointment for us today and that we could come in and have them rotated. So after we woke up this morning, we got dressed, left the house and into Les Schwab we went. We were warmly greeted at the front door and after telling the guy that we had an appointment today and that we wanted our tires rotated the guy took my keys and said "Let me go look at your car" And he went outside and did just that. Came back in to the store, looked me right in the face and said "I'm sorry but because your tires are in bad shape, I can't rotate them for you at all, its dangerous." Handed my keys back to me and said "Have a good day" Okay I'm no mechanic but from my point of view the tires didnt look that bad. But as a business, if you are trying to GAIN my business you need to provide me options and not just tell me "Theres nothing that you can do for me and cause me to walk out the door" as if you just punished me for not coming into the business sooner and getting them fixed. So my wife and I left the establishment very saddened by how we were treated and not even giving me an option to look at getting my tires changed, so after breakfast we decided to make our way to a place that we found through a Facebook group called Nor-Cal Tires. We left Nor-Cal Tires very happy and satisfied. Let me be the first to warn you not to do business with this company. This being my first impression with this company and never having to do business with them left a very bad taste in my mouth. To management; You're not doing a very good job trying to get your customers to actually DO Business with you if you have employees who want to push your customers out the door. I normally dont write bad reviews for companies because I like giving people the benefit of the doubt but after having been told "I'm sorry there is nothing I can do for you" in a scolding tone, I wont ever be back. It was really hard to even give them one star but I don't think I had an option. I bought tires from them about 8 months ago . Had some work done so the tires wear right. Few months later I had to take it back because the front end was shaking. They fixed it rotated and I went on my way . Then I got a text saying it was time to get them rotated again so I went in and noticed one tire was not worn right . They said the tire was worn beyond their legal rights to rotate it and so I was out of luck . I did mention I was going to give them a bad name if they don't make this right . Rudest people I've ever dealt with. Spent $1000 on brakes calipers and rotors. Drove for maybe 2 days when the brakes completely failed while driving downhill on the 299... had to use the transmission to force it to slow down and used a runaway truck ramp to safely stop without traumatic catastrophe. I took it back to Les Schwab and they told me it was fine.. I said no it's not, there's no fluid in the reservoir and there's fluid all over the calipers... They got rude and started gaslighting me telling I didkt know what I was talking about and said that there's no leaks it was fine. I was livid. These pompous kids are playing with peoples lives.. specifically Tyler was very pompous as of a guy that works at a brake shop is some kind of master mechanic know it all. Took it to a real mechanic, they could tell right away the piston seals failed on the brand new calipers causes complete loss of braking... absolutely ridiculous and dangerous behavior from hilltop Les Schwab. read more

It's not the most common tire and rim sold, and many tire stores didn't carry them. However Les Schwab had everything I needed in stock. Michael who was working the counter was very helpful, professional and friendly. He had me set up within the hour and I hadn't even made an appointment. Blew a tire on the way to Ashland up in the windy mountain part north of Lakehead, eg middle of nowhere. Driving a wheelchair minivan with my mom in the back in her chair, girlfriend on the side...sometime after 5pm...no spare on the van so looking a bit grim...called a tow truck place but they said call Les Schwab and they actually sometimes will come out to help...So fortunate that we got through before they close at 6pm and they had the right tire in stock and agreed to come change it out for us....Michael arrived ahead of estimated time, got it switched out and had us back on the road! Came in here with a nail in a tire on a Friday morning. They quoted a wait time of 1.5hrs on the phone, which turned out to be accurate, and shorter than other places I called. My dad and I came to this Les Schwab Tire Center in Redding when we were driving my car north from Berkeley, California to Shoreline, Washington in late November 2015. We were determined to make it home to Washington State for Thanksgiving even with the weather being snowy/blizzardy. Tire chains were required North of Redding, California specifically when driving through the mountain passes in Northern California and Southern Oregon. We didn't have chains in the car so we stopped here to see if they had any chains left. We got here before the store opened and eagerly went inside when it opened to see if they had chains that would fit my car. They did! Some of the tire chains were sold out in stores in the Redding area so we were extremely happy to find them here. Service was very friendly especially considering how busy the place was with people meeting road safety requirements in regards to tire chains. The prices were good and it was straightforward to get the right tire chains for my car. On the road we didn't get stopped and turned back because we didn't have chains and we made it home safe and sound for Thanksgiving! An all around great experience. Just finished practicing putting the tire chains on with my dad this morning, 2 November 2020, in advance of driving from Western to Eastern Washington where snow has already begun to fall this year. The chains fit on the snug side. Rubber on one of the tire chains snapped when my dad pulled it tight, but he was able to take it in to a Les Schwab Tire Center here in Washington State and get it fixed quick. read more

I called the Redding store, as it would be on my way, and they had the right size. They not only were able to sell them to me promptly, but were also happy to show me how to install them on my car. I've used them twice with zero issues (except for leaving my lights on to see and almost killing my battery--don't do that!), but if I hadn't had to use them-- Full refund if you return them within the season (maybe even within the YEAR). I got a flat on the morning of Black Friday and my usual dealership was closed so I called Les Schwab - Jennifer who answered was so nice and said she could get me in right away as they weren't too busy. Sure enough they got me in right away, and she even made sure to note that I needed to work within another hour so that they would prioritize my flat repair. I asked if I should pay first or later and she told me it was free. This is 2022, almost 2023 right? Is anything free these days? Apparently so! Five stars for great service and five stars for offering a much-needed service to the public for free! I like that they have a spacious and clean waiting area, too. Les Schwab is all about customer service. I have taken my car in for a flat tire and they fixed it without question immediately, no appointment needed. They earned my future business. So my car starts wobbling and a vibration in the front end, I take it to Les Schwab, they put my little honda up on the rack and sure enough, the alignment is out of whack. Not to worry, while I wait in their showroom, they align the suspension, check all my tires, brakes, and suspension components, then offer me a warranty. All of this work for about $125 bucks, you can't beat that. I love that they have tire centers everywhere, so if I have another issue, I can just pop into a location near me. read more

Put our babies life on the line. The general manager at this location refused to help us when we came in with a flat tire. Once we said we were going to write a review of our experience the manager at the location said "do what you have to do, but get the F**k off my lot". So then out of fear of the cops being called on us for trespassing we drove with our 18 month old, on our rim to a competing tire place. Mind you, they did not help us, they did not offer a number or an alterternative to them So we could get it fixed. they told us it "wasn't their problem". They told us to leave or they would call the cops. We then went to a different place and spent 1500$ on new tires and rims. Money was never an issue for us. we will be filing a complaint with corporate as well as writing a letter of our experiences to the attorney general of California as well as any other appropriate agency's. if your in need of a tire DO not use the Redding les schwab. especially if your used to good service. You won't find that here. Edit - after calling corporate the manger will be put on two week suspension for what he did to us. Keep in mind this entire staff will lie and say they saw the incident when they did not. This is a sleezy business who will lie to get away with ripping people off and putting life's in danger. Please please shop elsewear, or if they did wrong by you instead of calling corporate I recommend lawyering up because these guys are crooked and not crossing their tees or dotting their I's. They are only suspending him to avoid a lawsuit. Do better then we could. God bless. Les Schwab in Hilltop has a great crew! I thought I had a shell bearing issue but it wax something else. They diagnosed my problem and fixed it ASAP. The cost was reasonable and they were up front about everything. Even showed me the problem. They are honest!!! I took my truck here to get new front tires. They serviced it quickly and did a good job. However, I asked two separate times if they checked the pressure of all four tires, and both times they insisted they did. However, I later checked the rear myself and found them to be underinflated by 30-40 PSI or nearly 50%! If driven for longer these tires could have exploded. read more

Horrible service here. The lady who originally helped us was rude, obviously did not want to be there, and did not care about her customers. I went in with a smile, pleasantries, and positive words and halfway through being served by her, was reduced to tears. My quoted price was more than doubled for the tires she said were correct, my car had been gone through, and all of my glove compartments (I have 3) were wide open when I got back to my car. To top it all off, when I went to get my car (which had been parked at the other end of the parking lot) it began to roll away because whoever had parked it there hadn't put on the brake. Thankfully my dog and I are fine because I was able to quickly jump into my car and pull the brake. Go anywhere but here!!!!! EDIT: To the customer service person: I do not want to ever go anywhere near this Les Schwab ever again. You endangered my life and the life of my dog. I had been told by the local Honda dealership that I needed a new tire because I had metal in my sidewall. After waiting for two days and my tire had still not arrived, I tried Les Schwab. There was no problem with my sidewall after all. They patched my tire that had a screw in the tread. In less than an hour my tire was fixed and I was on my way...at NO CHARGE! It was my first time at Les Schwab today. I am so impressed that I had to give them a good review. Everyone that works there is so friendly. I had a flat tire and they repaired it for me as well as put some new windshield wipers on. The inside of the building is very nice too. Super clean and well kept. Nice waiting area with snack machines. It just feels like the employees are well taken care of and the manager really cares about his/her business. They definitely got me as a customer!
