I would like to share my experience regarding the customer service at this business. Unfortunately, I noticed a very concerning difference in the way the woman working at the front desk treats customers. She was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful with Caucasian customers. However, when Latino customers walked in, her attitude seemed to change noticeably. She appeared uncomfortable, was much less friendly, and came across as rude and unwelcoming. As a Latino customer, that kind of treatment is very upsetting and disappointing. My money is just as green as anyone else's, and every customer deserves to be treated with the same respect, courtesy, and professionalism regardless of their race or background. No one should walk into a business and feel like they are being treated differently because of their ethnicity. I do want to recognize the guys who work in the back. They have always been friendly, respectful, and professional, and I truly appreciate their excellent customer service. I hope management takes this concern seriously. Worst service I've had in years. I took two new 16" tractor rims and tires to Les Schwab to have the tires mounted. The charge was $65 for mounting only-no balancing or other services-which already seemed a little expensive. After I got home and installed one wheel, I discovered the other tire was flat. I inflated it to the recommended pressure and immediately heard air leaking, so back to the store. The tech "repaired" the leak and said they would call when it was ready. After waiting about 4 hrs with no call, I contacted the store and was now told it had been ready. When I got home again, I found the second tire had dropped to 5 psi. I made yet another trip back, and this time I was told both tires required tubes, at an additional cost of $80. In the end it took six trips back and forth before the tires were finally mounted correctly. What disappoints me the most is that I would have expected Les Schwab either to recognize from the beginning that tubes were needed or, at the very least to check for leaks before telling me they were ready. Mistakes happen, however at no point did anyone apologize or acknowledge the inconvenience caused by the repeated trips. Discount Tire is a few miles further from my home, but after this experience I will never return Les Schwab again. read more

Les Schwab saving my bacon, once again! Despite having had a tire patched last week (screw embedded in it) and driving 500 miles on it afterward, I discovered today that I have *another* leak, due to...you guessed it, a screw...thankfully, in a *different* tire. Either I have terrible luck, or somebody is screwing with me. Punny? Yes. Funny? Hell no. Unfortunately, I had to drop off the car during my lunch hour, as they were backed up for 4+ hours, due to all the people scrambling to have winter tires affixed to the vehicles before this week's upcoming, false flag Snowmageddon event. Thanks a lot, Weather Mafia! But considering Les Schwab offers this service for free, beggars can't be choosers. I must have visited almost a dozen other places over the weekend, trying to get this tire patched, in between running Christmas errands, but finding an opening was just impossible. I should have known better. There really are few other comparable, reliable, respectable names in the tire business other than Les Schwab. It's the first place that comes to mind when things are treading thin, and after this weekend's ordeal, I'm *tired* of searching for tire maintenance elsewhere. read more

6 Stars. My check tires light came on at 10 til 6:00 on Friday 5/5. I popped by Les Schwab as they were closing. They were nice enough to check my tires and noticed that the front tires were worn down. They offered to stay late on Cinco de Mayo to put two new tires on my car right then and there. Amazing staff. I'm sorry I kept them all late on a Friday. There really should be a sixth star available for such outstanding service. I've learned thru experiences going to Les Schwab to plan on waiting least 3-4 hours if not longer regardless what you need done? Yesterday was no different, went in to have snow tires put on our new 2023 Kia Niro . We were there before noon and the car tires weren't changed and ready for us to take our car home till right at 5 pm. Which seems to be par for the course with Les Schwab! Not like the good ol days when you pull into Les Schwab parking lot and a employee comes running out to your vehicle asking what can they do for you today? That customer service is long dead and gone forever! If you're in a hurry, you might want to go elsewhere and try your luck getting it done quicker? Sadly the days of pulling into Les Schwab and have a staff member run out to your car almost before you ever get parked and their asking how can they help you? Those days are long lost and gone forever! True customers service been thrown right out the window. A shame since Les Schwab use to have my complete loyalty. Since they changed their practices, I go to whoever I find with the better prices now! Since Les Schwab so busy any more, they don't need my business anymore anyway! I forgot to mention I called first and asked if they had time to put new tires on my vehicle and they said yes no problem! I personally would of expected to be helped a lot faster then having to wait 4-5 hours after I get to Les Schwab when I'm told they got plenty of time to replace my tires. But it's not the first time I have had this experience with Les Schwab! From what I've experienced you'll get told whatever they need to tell you to get you to go there? Then once they got you're keys they'll get around to working on your vehicle in their own sweet time and care less if your sitting in their waiting room till they close! This location is fantastic! My tire pressure often times gets low and the team here is always helpful and nice! They are fast and efficient and they never give me a hard time or charge me for filling the tires. I trust them because they never pressure me to purchase new tires and they always do a visual check to make sure my tires are in good condition. The popcorn is a wonderful plus! I had a nail in my tire so I went in to see if they could fix my tire without replacing it. It was really busy for a weekday and was going to be about an hour wait. It ended up taking about 45 minutes. They were able to fix my tire without needing to replace it. I was surprised when I went to check out and they told me I didn't need to pay anything! This location is really clean and nice looking. The waiting area is comfortable with free popcorn and coffee. read more

Here's the jist. My Dad's tire had a flat. We went to fix it since my Dad is out of town. First called AAA because we couldn't get the spare down (turns out you need a special key, which I am guessing is with my Dad in Europe...). AAA couldn't help us. Then we went to Costco on 192nd...where he bought the tires from...they couldn't help us. THEN we went to Les Schwab. WHY we did not go there first I will never know... Needless to say they fixed it (it was leaking from a hole and from the air input) and fixed it for FREE. I love Les Schwab. I am sorry I didn't think of them sooner...it would have cut about 4 hours off this afternoon trouble! read more

This shop has come a long way from the first time I visited them 3 years ago. The female who helped us (I think her name is Kate) provided us with exceptional and respectful customer service which is rare in this part of town (Vancouver/Camas). I have dealt with a lot of passive aggressive people at this shop before but this time, not anymore. The service they did to my vehicle was top notch and was completed in a timely manner. What really impressed me is their HONESTY. After the service done to my vehicle, they charged me less than what they quoted because it was an easier job to do and did not take that long to do. Took it for a second opinion to a top notch mechanic who is honest and it turns out we only needed new pads and charged me a third of Les Schwab's estimate. My niece, who is 20yrs old, was driving my vehicle when she got a screw in it. She when to this location for repair. They said they repaired the tire and sent her on her way. It immediately went flat upon her leaving. Worse, she was stranded as there was no cell phone. Worse, they never put the lug lock key back in the vehicle. Just poor craftsmanship and accountability.
