this place sells its self as a mom n pop store & I was a customer for years. yet when I needed an item & called them they didnt allow me to place an order because I need to come into a store and pay before hand & when I said i will do it online well that doesnt exist because they don't offer that so you're paying double the price then what you would pay at any store because they sell themselves as a and yet they give you service like a superstore! DONT WASTE MONEY ON THIS PLACE. (btw the item in ? they wanted me to come in and pay for before hand was $25 more than any person online). Leslie's is our go-to for everything we need for our pool. They're conveniently located nearby, which makes it easy to stop in whenever we need something. We regularly purchase salt, cleaning devices, parts, and floats from them. They also offer free water testing, which is a great help. In addition to supplies, they provide services like pool opening, closing, and cleaning. We did have one unfortunate experience: they sold us a pool cover that turned out to be a size too small. When the technician came to close the pool, he let us know it would work for that season but that we'd need a larger one the following year. I wasn't happy about that situation. That said, their customer service has generally been excellent. The staff is always helpful and willing to track down whatever we need. read more

I've been here multiple times over the years and had pretty good service every time. They have a lot of stock and get different fun pool toys every year. My daughter has been very happy with my purchases. They are a little expensive sometimes but it's convenient to go there in person than to order online. I know that sounds a little weird but I'm not the most savvy taking care of my pool. So being able to talk to someone really helps my family have a great summer in our pool. Love that they have a lot. It's not big but usually this location isn't crazy busy and I'm able to park. read more

Pool supplies. We came here looking for a new chlorine dispenser for our pool. they had a few different characters to choose from. Duck, Shark, Dolphin, Frog. we went with the Duck. because he was really cute. especially with his sun glasses on. the other thing on our agenda to look for was a volleyball net that could attach to our intex pool.. they did not carry any or one that could be substituted for it. while looking around some of the prices on chlorine and pool accessories are higher. But what is nice is that you can see the items up-close vs ordering something online. staff was very friendly and helped look for the items we were searching for. this place has a decent size parking lot it is small but this place does not got crazy busy read more

Just went to the Leslie's in NHP on Jericho Tpke website said they close at 7. I arrived at 6 and he turned off the lights and closed an hour Early. I drove 20 minutes to get there. We have bought from them for many years. I won't return, I would rather drive 20 Minutes the other way and go to Brother 3 Pools, they have better customer service anyway! read more

Leslies pool is the only place I go to get all of my pool needs. I get my pool water tested there and they always know exactly what to do if the water is off; and they always have what I need to fix it if needed. I have been to other pool stores (I will not mention) and the staff here Stu, Jenna and Victoria are so much nicer! They always have a smile and a friendly attitude! read more

UPDATE: I received a call from a Customer Service Superisor. She offered me free installation two days after the cancelled due to rain date, so I'm feeling better. That installer, John was great! He did the install quickly and explained everything fully. This review is for the service department, not any individual store. Atrocious, is all I can say. I was encouraged to purchase a salt chlorination system on the Leslie's website. It arrived in good condition in a few days...then I sat and waited for 6 weeks for an appointment to install it. Busy time of year (April-May) so I can understand that. BUT THEN, Leslie's service schedules me for June 2, the tech shows up and tells me he can't perform the work because he needs to replace the check valve between an non-functioning heater and the filter...which he doesn't even know if its bad or not, but Leslie's requires it be replaced or no warranty! Me: "Why didn't we know that ahead of time?" Tech: "You're supposed to get a site evaluation before the install. They didn't tell you that?" Me: "No, but OK, can I go buy one at the store while you start working?" Tech: "No, what if they don't have it, your system will be all apart." Me: "OK, I'll call them." Tech: "Good luck, they never answer." He's right, I call three times, ringing the phone 20+ times before voicemail picks up. So he has to leave and I'll get the part and reschedule. When I reschedule, its 10 more days. I'm scheduled for today between 12:00pm-5:00pm. At 12:24 they leave me a message (I just missed getting to my cellphone in time) that they have to reschedule due to weather...it drizzled about 2 millimeters for 15 minutes at my house today and there is no further rain expected until . I even went an put a portable tent over the area, but I didn't get to explain that to them. They have only one number to contact...in ARIZONA!!! I can't even call anyone local. I've now been on hold with Arizona for 25 minutes, while they are trying to contact the dispatcher...by what? Pony Express? Mail mule? If I could return it, I'd get my money back and never give them another dime again! I'll just get someone else, and they'll still never see a penny of my money. Oh, and by the way, when the customer "service" rep. returned to the line, I called them out on the garbage excuse that they can't work on wet ground (don't they know enough to shut the power off to the equipment before they work on electrical stuff???!!!) he hung up on me!!!! I debated purchasing my new zodiac pool vacuum on Amazon or from Leslie's. Ended up buying at Leslie's and am happy I did. The vacuum was not functioning correctly - I called the manufacturer and they said was probably a bad backup valve. They recommended bringing it in to Leslie's. I brought it in, they quickly checked my sales record (purchased 3 months prior) and gave me a new backup valve to install free of charge. Simple install and works again. Great customer service. Glad I had purchased it a the local store, as an online purchase would have been involved phone calls, shipping and aggravation. read more
