Overall a good experience! We did a pickup order as I was craviiiing Japanese egg sandos from Lawson or 7/11. Altho the egg sando is not exactly how it was from Japan - it did hit a spot. I wish it had a bit more flavor though. I do think the chicken katsu sando was so so delicious and yummy! Perfectly crispy chicken. Both sandwiches had great fluffy milky white bread. Wow. Honestly, this spot is my new favorite spot for poke in Houston! I struggled to find a good poke place, as all of the other places were either too stingy with their portions or their fish wasn't as fresh. But Let's Poke is perfect! There's a good amount of parking outside the place with a few spots that are reserved just for the restaurant! Inside is a lot smaller than I thought, but there's still plenty of seats to eat your lunch! The walls are bright and pink which I thought added a cute vibe to the place! The lady who got my order was super lovely and nice. She took my order really fast and got to work with the scooping, and she was very generous with the portion! After I paid, she told me to be careful and stay safe because of the rain and the incoming storm, which was so sweet and thoughtful. The poke was so delicious. Their regular bowl comes with 3 proteins which honestly is a steal as most places that sell regular bowls only come with 2 proteins. I got salmon, spicy salmon, and spicy tuna for my proteins and had a bunch of different toppings and mix-ins. The total of my bowl was around $15 which is pretty good for the amount of food that was given. The fish was super fresh and succulent and it paired really well with their spicy ponzu and their spicy mayo sauce. You can get whatever toppings and mix-ins you want with no additional charge with the exception of some toppings like avocado, etc. And FYI, the large bowl comes with a whopping 5 proteins and is $3 extra from the regular, which is honestly a really good deal. Such a good poke place! I'll definitely be coming back here again as the workers are super nice, the food is so good, and it's women-owned! This poke spot took over the old Aqua S, and I love poke so was happy to have this new addition. I built my own poke bowl versus going with one of their signature bowls. I got a large bowl with salmon and tuna as my proteins. They also let you add avocado and crab meat for free. It's not a huge portion, but it is included which is nice compared to the other poke spots that charge extra for it. Everything tasted fresh and there were a wide variety of ingredient to choose from. The restaurant was very clean and the employees were extremely nice and helpful. Let me say Poke is my thing and I am unfortunately a snob when it comes to this and other forms of Hawaiian cuisine. In summary, this spot just wasn't it. Built my own bowl with the proteins of my choosing such as Tuna and Salmon. Loads of toppings like pickled ginger, seaweed salad and all the other good stuff the traditionalist seeks. This meal just lacked flavor. It was just really bland and nothing about this meal makes me want to go back for more. I got the regular bowl with two spicy tuna scoops and a regular salmon scoop - the spicy salmon is marinated in a spicy oil vs mixed with spicy mayo and I think that makes it even better!! Cindy helped me with any questions and let me sample the sauces so I knew which I liked best, she was so nice. I added the miso soup and it is so good. Wanted something healthy and fast so I tried Let's Poke. I really enjoyed it! You can get as many toppings as you want for no price increase which was really nice. I think I got 2 or 3 proteins and a bunch of toppings for a little less than $20. You can also sub rice for a bunch of cucumbers which sounded really good as well. Staff was very nice and patient, they explained what all the toppings were and never got annoyed. There are a good amount of tables inside, I could see it being a little loud when it was busy but we went around 8 and there were only two other people there. Would recommend! read more

I ordered from here for the first time today; I got the "Regular" portion which was 13.99 base price. I absolutely love poke bowls so I was excited to try it, but I was very disappointed when I received my order. I chose white rice for my base which is always similar to "sticky" sushi rice. However, this rice was so clumped together that I was barely able to break it apart and when I ate, it stuck to my teeth to the point that it was hard to get off... I am a big fan of both sushi and poke bowls and I have never experienced this before. Additionally, the portion I chose is supposed to include 3 different proteins...I have never seen salmon / tofu cut in such tiny pieces on top of it being such a small quantity; it didn't even fill me up. The clumped rice on top of the fact that there was very minimal protein for the price you are paying, made the whole meal unenjoyable. read more
