    Regular Bowl

Wow. Honestly, this spot is my new favorite spot for poke in Houston! I struggled to find a good poke place, as all of the other places were either too stingy with their portions or their fish wasn't as fresh. But Let's Poke is perfect! There's a good amount of parking outside the place with a few spots that are reserved just for the restaurant! Inside is a lot smaller than I thought, but there's still plenty of seats to eat your lunch! The walls are bright and pink which I thought added a cute vibe to the place! The lady who got my order was super lovely and nice. She took my order really fast and got to work with the scooping, and she was very generous with the portion! After I paid, she told me to be careful and stay safe because of the rain and the incoming storm, which was so sweet and thoughtful. The poke was so delicious. Their regular bowl comes with 3 proteins which honestly is a steal as most places that sell regular bowls only come with 2 proteins. I got salmon, spicy salmon, and spicy tuna for my proteins and had a bunch of different toppings and mix-ins. The total of my bowl was around $15 which is pretty good for the amount of food that was given. The fish was super fresh and succulent and it paired really well with their spicy ponzu and their spicy mayo sauce. You can get whatever toppings and mix-ins you want with no additional charge with the exception of some toppings like avocado, etc. And FYI, the large bowl comes with a whopping 5 proteins and is $3 extra from the regular, which is honestly a really good deal. Such a good poke place! I'll definitely be coming back here again as the workers are super nice, the food is so good, and it's women-owned! Come check it out and support this small local business!

I love their chicken katsu sando sandwich it's delicious I recommend it! The chicken was juicy and crispy and the bread was soft .10/10 for me I could eat another .

Need to try it a second time. The service was weird enough to make me not go back but food was soooo good have to give it another round!

This place was ok. I tried it on a whim since this place was close by to my house. I got a build my own bowl with shrimp and brown rice. I like my rice warm so didn't like that it came in cold. The shrimps themselves were tiny but they tasted fresh and the other ingredients also tasted fresh which is a plus. A lot of toppings that you can choose which is another plus.

This poke spot took over the old Aqua S, and I love poke so was happy to have this new addition. I built my own poke bowl versus going with one of their signature bowls. I got a large bowl with salmon and tuna as my proteins. They also let you add avocado and crab meat for free. It's not a huge portion, but it is included which is nice compared to the other poke spots that charge extra for it. Everything tasted fresh and there were a wide variety of ingredient to choose from. The restaurant was very clean and the employees were extremely nice and helpful. Come check them out to get your poke fix!

I had an early day, so my friend and I decided to catch up. We watched something light but filling, and delicious, so poke was it. Let's Poke did not disappoint! The ambiance was clean and pleasantly quiet. It was our first time, and our server was extremely help and patient with explaining our options. Although there are 3 offered pre-made bowls, I decided to make my own. I loved the variety of options. Though not an expert, it was fun to figure out which mixes and sauces would go well together. Our server also gave some input with my friend's order. My bowl: spicy salmon, cooked shrimp, carrots, cabbage, cucumbers, brown rice, spring mix, corn, sesame seeds, furikake, spicy mayo and eel sauce. My friend's bowl: spicy salmon, spicy tuna, cooked shrimp, green onions, brown rice, lettuce, cucumbers, cabbage, eel sauce, mango habanero sauce. The bowl was extremely fresh and bursting with flavor. I really loved my combo, and I can't wait to go back! I also ordered a pomegranate house drink which was adequately fizzy, not overly sweet and refreshing. A perfect hot day meal combo! Parking was a breeze and it's in a convenient location in the heights. I could imagine living in the areas and grabbing a bowl after a Hotwire session (which is right next door)....orrr going for some tea and/or doughnuts, which are also neighboring businesses! This spot is quite small, so I encourage a grab and go or no more than a group of 3 situation.

Our first time trying Let's Poke! We both loved it and raved about it all the way home.

I've been to Let's Poke twice. It tastes amazing and the service is spectacular. They separated my rice into another bowl when i didn't want it in my regular bowl. I felt super cared for. The ambiance in quiet and clean. We sat outside to enjoy the street view. Will 1000% be returning for more amazing poke. Best in Houston.

I'm loving this new poke place. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff and cute interior and vibe. They have a few pre-set menu items or you can make your own bowl. I like to make my own. Highly recommend this place if you're in the Heights and are in the mood for poke!

Unfortunately, my visit was a disappointment. My bowl was very small and not a lot of options to choose from.

Some pros include good service, an efficient ordering system (you can fill out a small slip of paper at the front of the restaurant), and the unique oil selection option. But unfortunately, my biggest gripe was their food. Upon receiving my order, my roommate noted how small the bowl was. While size didn't matter (initially), they gave me way more rice than protein, and by the end of my meal, I found myself having to supplement my leftover rice with my own protein. A small bowl was 3 scoops of protein (I requested 2 scoops of spicy tuna and 1 scoop of spicy yellowtail), but frankly, they were a bit stingy with their portions because it did not seem like 3 scoops. I felt that paying $14 for how much I was getting turned me off. Furthermore, my roommate and I agreed that the sauces and how the fish was seasoned were more salty than spicy. I requested 2 types of spicy raw fish and a spicy aioli sauce and still found the spice to be subtle, almost nonexistent. In addition, some premium ingredients, such as Masago and Seaweed Salad, would have been free elsewhere. Overall, I was unsatisfied with my experience and unsure if I'd return. While taste is subjective, I'd suggest improving portion sizes by fixing the rice-to-protein ratio; past reviews have expressed similar sentiments, so I know I'm not alone in feeling like the portions are absurd. Also worth mentioning is that they give free dessert (ube, matcha, and pandan rice crispies) if you leave a Google review, which I feel could skew the ratings.
