Im super picky about my nails been even and all that, but the employees here constantly blow me away with this talent and precision. I normally never write reviews but i'm feeling a bit confused. I've gotten Shellac for YEARS and always go in to a salon to get it removed professionally so I keep my nails as healthy as possible. this is my first time here and also only my second time gettin acrylics but the nail tech ripped my shellac off without soaking them and completely ripped apart my real nails. She also didn't cut my cuticles or do anything that a normal manicure has. I'm not sure if that's how they do it when they are putting on a full set after but i was confused as it hurt to get my shellac and wasn't something that normally has happened to me. Besides that the nails turned out ok. For $60 I expected a little bit better. it's also been about 3 hours and they hurt really bad. Not sure if that is normal Not sure how to respond directly to your message but i put up another picture of my finished nails. Like I said i've only every gotten acrylic done once before so I was unaware that it is normally to not soak the shellac before removal of it. Is it normal to not have a manicure along with acrylics? So disappointed. Yesterday I went in for a fill and color change. I had a lovely pedicure, but my nail stylist didn't listen at all to my asking for a color change, and kept the same fill ( I had a tinted powder color ). I go in today to get it changed, and they were immediately hostile. I had also seen how they do changes and fixes for free, as posted here on yelp. So I go in and get it changed, and then they charge me 10$? After I had dropped over 80$ the previous day for an incorrect manicure?!? I wish I wanted to go back. I really do. This was the opposite of relaxing and my feet and toes are worse off than before the pedicure at Le Vian. The nail tech clipped my cuticles to the point where I have several areas that are very sore, even two days later. I said, "Ouch" several times during the pedicure but the tech persisted. In addition, my heels are rough from the scrubbing done at the salon, followed by a brief superficial, quick application of a small amount of lotion. This place has the feel of a mill, getting people in and out as quickly as possible. I will not be back. read more

Everyone is SO NICE, the location is clean, inviting and it was the best. I had an SNS manicure and pedicure. I enjoy coming here because everyone is so nice and they perform high quality manicures and pedicures. I haven't tried other services, but I am confident they're great. There aren't many places that do SNS and with designs too. Tan Le is great at all the cool and pretty designs. Jojo, my go-to nail tech, is really great and so sweet that I look forward to seeing her every 2+ weeks. I have been coming here for a while now. The nail salon is so clean and organized. Only place that can do AMAZING SNS nails that NEVER chip. I've seriously tried SNS all over the country: Philadelphia, Utah, Arizona and Cali, and Tan by far does the best job. AVOID AVOID AVOID. I came in for a simple pedicure with white polish. I asked for three very thin coats to eliminate streaking, she agreed, did two and said I don't need three. The chairs are new and nice but the massage was non-existent and I asked my nail technician 4 times to clean the edges of my nails because the polish and top was on my skin. I asked repeatedly for a brush to be used to clean the edges and she used her fingernail to push back the skin rather than clean the paint off!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. It is not up to par with a new nail salon in Lake Oswego. Finally she said "I did this fast for you". Again, pushing my skin back at the cuticle rather than removing polish off my skin is not fixing the issue. I think the head guy/manager finally came over to do brush work and try to clean it up but after a few lame attempts he said "this is as good as it'll get because it's white polish and the edges won't be clean". False, I've gone to plenty of places where they do an excellent job and have clean polish lines. I came with my cousin who had the same issue (the photo I've included, taken 20 minutes after the pedicure). Lazy, unprofessional, subpar, no accountability. UPDATE: Please see the photo from the owner in response to my review. A lesson in customer service might be helpful. The "attempts" to address the overrun polish was "lame" and not a dig at the owners work or salon. read more

I had a photo from Pinterest and Lisa was able to take one look at the photo then perfectly recreate it. It was 30$ for the nails and it was 100% worth it for my wonderful nails. This is my new nail place! So hard to find someone who does quality work. I got the SNS nails .. which is "powder dipping" I love it! My nails grow longer and stronger. They have so so so many colors to choose from. Brights, darks and glitter-you definitely can find the exact shade you're looking for. The salon itself is really nice, huge and clean. It looked like they had over 10 nice clean pedicure chairs (I can't wait to go back and get one). They had a large round of tables in the middle of the salon, full of what look like shellac stations-which is amazing-probably no long wait times. I'm thoroughly shocked that my nails came out BETTER here at LeVian Nails! I've been going to my old nail salon for 6 years and the quality of work from Tan Le was phenomenal. I'm now looking forward to my next appointment with ease knowing they do a great job. I highly recommend the SNS or what others out of state call it "The Dip". I have my own natural nails growing stronger every day and healthier with dipping. It's clean, friendly, customer service oriented and they pride themselves with quality work. They know how to do a great powder dip that lasts at least 3-4 weeks before I have to get them redone, simply because my nails grew out. The manicure I got gets 4 stars because they have a weird, kind of painful process to remove old powder dip polish that involves soaking your finger tips in hot acetone. It's not comfortable, but it's bearable. I think next time I will see if they can just do foil. I came here on a different occasion for a pedicure which gets ZERO stars. The girl was nice but had NO idea what she was doing. She barely let my feet soak before trying to scrub the dead skin off my heels for maybe 10 seconds per foot, which did nothing. She was about to put on nail polish but still hadn't cleaned under my toenails, clipped my cuticles, or taken care of my ingrown toenail. I had to stop her and ask her if she was going to do these things and she seemed REALLY confused then figured it out and did a terrible job (still didn't clean under my toenails and had already rubbed alcohol on my nails/cuticles to clean them for nail polish which made it hard to clip cuticles properly, so I had to finish my own pedicure at home). I think I paid $30 for a basic pedicure which is pricier than a lot of other places and you have to tell them how much tip you want to put on your card which is really awkward if you don't want to tip because they did a terrible job. The whole thing gave me anxiety so I ended up tipping her $5 that was not deserved. There is no way she was certified to be doing mani/pedis. Two other women were getting pedicures in the same room I was in and they were both having issues with their pedicurists (is that a thing?) not knowing what they were doing. Plus everyone in there talks in their native language the whole time, and some make it obvious they are talking shit about customers. I don't mind people talking to each other in the language they are comfortable with, but to ignore customers with full blown conversations and making obvious comments about those customers then giggling about it is rude. I will be coming back for the powder dip manicures because it is the best place I have found for those (for a typical price of $40), but I will be going elsewhere for pedicures. read more

Quite honestly the worst gel manicure I've ever gotten. I left with polish/top coat on the skin of nearly every finger and really unclean lines for the polish in general, but I left simply because I didn't have time to stay for them to be re-done. I suppose if you have a different nail technician your experience could be very different, but definitely don't go for the gel. read more

Got an SNS from the salon, they have so many colors and the gentle tools which are both positives. However one of my SNS is starting to peel off after a week (even though this is historically the least aggressive I've been with manicured hands, I normally do a lot of intensive labor/rough moving with my fingers yet I literally just hung out for the Thanksgiving holiday which give them no reason to be peeling already). The establishment is very clean and well decorated. However, I'm not sure if they know how to truly do a regular mani or pedi. I had a woman by the name of Van, and she was sweet but didn't seem like she was confident in her work. She never cleaned the inside of my toenail or even removed my ingrown nail. My hands looks like I did it myself, the cuticles were not removed and the way she shaped by nails looked like a 5 year old could have done a better job. Feels like a wasted my money. I got a manicure and pedicure here and both were mediocre. I paid for the more expensive pedicure and didn't get all of the services. The massage I received she did over the plastic baggies on my feet so I couldn't feel it. When she was done I had to walk through the salon barefoot when the other people were able to put their shoes on first. I then got a gel manicure and only had my nails painted and nothing else. The paint job was very sloppy, the polish was uneven and the color had dark splotches in places and not enough coats in the others. It was expensive and I didn't get a drink like the other clients were offered on top of all that. There are plenty of good places in Lake Oswego go somewhere else! read more
