I got a birthday cake here, not too sweet and filled with lots of fruit filling. The cake interior was sponge and moist. I was lucky to get a cake here without needing to preorder. The staff was friendly, they speak mandarin, cantonese, taishanese and English. Parking here is a bit tough, but doable. They also have lots of fresh baked goods for sale too, or slices of cake as well.

portland hidden gem, been going here my whole life. hot dog bun and pork floss roll are classics. every year, i get my birthday cake made here. on certain days, if you come early enough, they have cheung fun (rice noodle rolls). absolutely one of my favorites!! everything is so affordable and i hope this remains the case for the coming years. li min is no doubt a bakery that has contributed so much to the jade district and everyone who's grown up in the area.

Started coming here about once a month for baked chinese goods. It's a no fuss location with a good selection. My favorite part is they constantly bring out fresh pastries throughout the entire day. Yesterday we went at 3pm and they had a good variety and steaming hot delicious egg tarts. Bring cash as I believe they have a minimum credit card payment of $10

Came here around 11am on a weekday and they were already out of egg tarts - the one thing I came for! Thankfully I asked if there were any more, and they let me know it was going to be a 4 minute wait. I ended up walking out with 8 fresh egg tarts! These are my go to spot as the price point is decent. The flavoring of the egg tarts were okay, but the bakery I usually go to was closed at the time I was in need for these pastries.

I have been on a savory pastry craving lately, and this place is still one of my favorites in town. Their prices are probably the best in town and have a wide selection of items. I just found out that you can also order some steam rice roll (I ordered it with bbq pork and egg). The rice roll here is great and you get a good value for everything.

Finally was able to tried this bakery. There are four Asian bakeries within a 5 mile radius [Mei Sum Bakery, King's Bakery and Meianna Bakery]. Out of the four, I'd have to put this bakery in 3rd place. Price Range: Fairly reasonable and comparable to the other bakeries. Portion Size: The size of the pastries are standard size to all bakeries. The stuffing portion (i.e BBQ bun, custard bun, curry bun) was hardly any. I would say 95% is bread and 5% stuffing. I do have to say, their bread is delicious. It is soft, fluffy and has flavor compare to the other Asian bakeries. If the bakery adjusts the ratio portion, the pastries has high potential. Atmosphere: It is dark and not well light inside. Once you step inside, on the right is where the pastries are. On the left side are tables however are not usable as they're covered with flat boxes and other items. In the corner are slot machines, which is random for a bakery. Overall, I dont see myself purchasing any of their pastries again. I'll pass on this establishment.

I'm new to the neighborhood and new to Asian bakeries, and so i decided to check this out. I didn't know what to expect. I was thinking it would have more of the sweet pastries than savory pastries, and I was surprised by the amount and selection of savory pastries. The prices seemed surprisingly reasonable and somewhat low. I ended up getting a sweet pastry with soft bread and filling. I don't remember what it was called but it was delicious. I also bought an iced milk tea to go. I will definitely go back to try some of the savory pastries.

Walking in less than an hour before closing, we were surprised to see most of the items still in stock! We ended up picking four things to try: Vanilla Bean Kouign Amann ($7) - This pasty has a sweet yet salty exterior that's complementary in flavor rather than clashing. It's accentuated with a crunchy glazed and caramelized sugar layer that's on the sweeter side. The interior is interesting. There's a cavernous gap right in the center that's filled with a sickly sweet melted sugar syrup. It's unpleasantly sweet and very cloying. The puffed and filled area is large enough that it compresses the other layers so the kouign amann is dense. I've never had a kouign amann quite this sweet before. (3/5) Meyer Lemon Olive Oil Cake with Thyme ($5.50) - This cake is so moist and rich, thick and dense, fatty and rich, that it feels like I"m eating a slab of butter. I'm sure it has just as many calories too! It's quite sweet, although not nearly to the level of the kouign amann. Overall, it's just a really rich and decadent cake. (4/5) Blueberry + Vanilla Cream Brioche Donut w/ Earl Grey ($6) - The top of the pastry is dressed with a cream that has an unmistakably strong bergomot earl grey taste. I wish there was way more cream - there's essentially only a dab on top! The rest of the donut is filled with a custardy light blueberry and vanilla jam. It's not too sweet and has an excellent high quality blueberry fragrance, creating an exceptionally strong blueberry taste. The jam is not too thick and is somewhat syrupy from sugar. The donut itself is really soft and extremely airy. It's the fluffiest donut I've eaten in a long time. (5/5) Raspberry Rose Cruffin ($8.50) - This pastry has some fun dehydrated raspberries sprinkled right on top of a light and fluffy cream that's not too sweet. The cruffin base is buttery in taste and great lamination even when filled with the custard and rose/raspberry cream. This is a heavy cruffin that's very filling. (5/5) Twisted Croissant certainly does some some really delectable treats. It's one of my favorite bakeries in Portland!

Crispy, airy, buttery and oh, so delicate, my raspberry cruffin was the dessert dreams are made of! If you've never had a cruffin... what are you waiting for?! It's croissant dough baked into a muffin shape. And the particular version I ordered today was filled with sweet and creamy vanilla custard and raspberry jelly. My mouth is watering describing this now, a true sign I'll be returning to experience this delicacy time and time again. There are three locations of Twisted Croissant in Portland, and this is the only one I've visited. The interior has a classic Parisian bakery vibe, clad in white subway tile from floor to ceiling. The bakery case in front of the store is beautifully stocked with fresh pastries, perfect for enjoying with a cup of coffee or tea. However, be advised, there are only two tables in the back of their public space, so it's not particularly inviting space to sit and enjoy your breakfast. Given the location, I assume there is outdoor seating in the summer months, but don't quote me on that. Regardless, run here if you haven't been. These baked goods are worth the visit!
