    Rainbow bagel

Liberty bagel is one of my favorite bagel places in NYC! Great bagel texture, awesome cream cheese selection, and friendly staff. Ordered the rainbow bagel with birthday cake cream cheese. I thought it was going to be too sweet but honestly it was SO good. Well balanced and lives rent free in my brain. The place has seating near the window which is perfect for people watching / enjoying city views while enjoying a bagel.

Came in to have some breakfast. Daughter got an egg sandwich on a bagel and I got the Rainbow bagel with plain cream cheese. They have so many choices of cream cheese and bagels. Also lots of options for bagel sandwiches. Our order was out quick so we went next door to eat it with some Starbucks since no available seating in the Liberty Bagel. The food was really good. Bagels were so soft and flavorful.

Had to try a classic NYC bagel spot and this did not disappoint! The bagel sandwiches were really good, and I loved all the fun rainbow bagels. The blue and orange Knicks-themed bagels were seriously so adorable too. We grabbed our bagels and walked over to Bryant Park to eat them, which was such a peaceful little NYC morning. If I lived in New York, this would totally be one of my go-to bagel spots!

Had to have the rainbow bagel! Exactly what you expect out of an NY bagel. Line was long in the morning but moved fast. Great location right next to the offices.

I thought they were just ok. Seems like this bagel shop relies on tourist interest in their specials - Red, White & Blue Liberty bagel, and their Rainbow colored bagel. Many on line were waiting to purchase these when I was there. Yes, they are both colorful and pleasing to the eye but it's just food coloring added to them. I found little difference in taste compared to their regular bagels which are pretty good. Yet, they charge an extra $1.60 per bagel for these specialty colored ones. If you want a pretty colored bagel to snap pics of to place on your social media then splurge away. They also offer a standard bagel selection, cream cheeses, paninis, wraps, and hot bagel sandwiches.

Liberty Bagels is famous for their two colorful bagels, the Liberty bagel (red, white and blue) and the Rainbow bagel. Between the two, I preferred the Rainbow one more, as it had a sweet fruity flavor to it. While their color is made them go viral, this place actually has very high quality bagels in general. The bagels are old fashioned hand rolled kettle boiled bagels. They are huge and very fluffy and definitely one of the best bagels I've had in New York City. They also offer a unique selection of cream cheeses as well. Some of the flavors of cheese cheese flavors sold here are Oreo, birthday cake and maple bacon.

Went to Liberty Bagels for lunch on a Friday. There is limited seating but we were able to snag some seats. You order at the counter and they call your name when your order is ready. I ordered the Wild Thing on a Rainbow Bagel. It was delicious. The bagel itself was so different and sweet. I want to eat there everyday! Note- if you pay with cash, your order is cheaper.

Everything with dill cream cheese and then lox bagel.

The location around the corner had a huge line, so this location is super convenient. There was no line to order and very short wait to get our bagels. We got a lox bagel and an everything bagel with dill cream cheese. The bagel and cream selection was amazing. They had all sorts of sandwiches as well plus drinks to grab too. Bagel was perfect and delicious. I'd definitely go back!

My first NYC bagels had to be at Liberty! The hype is real! Make sure to get there early because by 9am, there is a line out the door. The employees were extremely nice and helpful when deciding what to order. I got the rainbow bagel with oreo cream cheese - DELICIOUS. The bagel had a nice texture and the cream cheese wasn't overpowering. I can't wait to go back!

Appreciated the quick and efficient service on top of the deliciously toasted bagel from here. I just wanted to grab a quick bagel on my way back to the Amtrak station to go home and I chose to come to Liberty because Best Bagels across the street was wayyyy too packed, but I'm glad I came here anyway and probably will continue to go here. The bagels are on the right side as soon as you enter and after you place your order, you take the receipt over to the register on the left side to pay. The wait wasn't long at all despite how many were standing around and waiting, nice pacing. This was Sunday morning around 10am.

I stopped by Liberty Bagels after a laser appointment and grabbed a sesame bagel, lightly toasted, with butter, black pepper, and an egg. Honestly, nothing about it stood out. The bagel was fine, but not memorable, and definitely didn't live up to all the hype. For the price, I expected something a lot better. Overall, it felt overrated and not worth going out of the way for. If you're nearby and need something quick, maybe it works but I wouldn't choose it again. It's a small busy spot very busy and the girl at the register I think her name was Ana wasn't welcoming at all. Given its morning would appreciate a smile and hello. Anyways not the spot for me that's for sure.

I got the Liberty bagel; red, white and blue. I think because there was so much dye in the bagel, the bagels texture was off. The chipotle cream cheese had a good kick to it. I am not sure why the cream cheese alone is the same price as the bagel. I also was not a fan of the amount of cream cheese given, it was too much. It was also confusing where you pick up and put your bagel order in. There is a sign but the menu with prices are posted everywhere repeatedly which makes it confusing.

Bagels were great and definitely others agree as everyone waited in line for it. They do have online ordering and you wait way less just let them know you have ordered online and they will watch for it. So many bagel and cream Cheese options and we're very efficient. Clean atmosphere

I ordered a toasted gluten free bagel with cream cheese and what I got was cold and pale. I took a bite and it was disgusting. Many gluten free bread products need to be toasted to be edible which is why I always get them toasted. My receipt said toasted. The bagel was pale and cold. And falling apart. A different bagel store refused to sell their gluten free bagels untoasted. At least they didn't give me food that I couldn't eat. I will not be going back to NYCB&CH anytime soon because that experience left a bad taste in my mouth...literally. But if I do I will make sure to check my bagel before I go.

I mean seriously the options are ENDLESS. Sweet, salty, savory, you name it. I will admit, it's a bit overwhelming because you want to try it all especially because they're all beautifully displayed. Even after you pick the spread, you still have to choose from one of the many different bagel options too so.. that's the hard part - making choices! There is seating available both in and outside.
