After getting several quotes to replace my A/C and furnace, I chose Liberty Mechanical and had a great experience. When Chris came out to inspect my system and provide a quote, there was no pressure and no sales tactics, which I really appreciated. Once the install was scheduled, I received helpful email and text reminders. The installation took two days, and the team was always punctual, respectful, and professional. Even though the job ended up being more involved than expected, they handled it with grace and professionalism. From the initial contact with the office to all follow-up communications, the entire process was a pleasant experience with a fabulous team. Replacing an HVAC system isn't cheap, but Liberty Mechanical provided options that allowed me to choose what worked best for my budget. I highly recommend them! read more

Once again Liberty Mechanical provided GREAT service! It was time for our yearly service so I contacted the office, the staff is always easy to communicate with and always provide timely availability. The technicians arrived on time, uniforms were clean and professional. The gentleman introduced themselves and got to work right away. They kept the work areas safe and cleaned up when they were done. They also reviewed everything with me and answered questions before they left. I've been using Liberty Mechanical 10yrs now and I won't use anyone else. read more

Good quality service at a reasonable price. Had a problem with a hall thermostat and it was suggested I get room sensors as apposed to getting a separate a/c unit. Solved my a/c problem by cleaning the drain line. read more

First time customer. Chris arrived early for his appointment and did a thorough job servicing our split unit. He was also very professional, courteous, and gave us some ideas on expanding our HVAC system. A small family run honest business with no "up sale" pressure. He has a loyal customer and will be used for future needs. read more

We've used Liberty Mechanical for all our air conditioning & heating needs for over 20 years, in both our homes. We recommend them to all our neighbors. We signed up for quarterly maintenance on our new home, due to very high ceilings, and they change out all the filters for us, and check that everything is running up to speed. read more

One of the very best companies I have ever used. Jake installed our mini split heat pump earlier than requested. He finished in half a day and all appeared to be good. Once it got hot we started using the unit more and found that it leaked to the inside. Jake came out twice to trouble shoot the problem and fix. However, it still leaked. Jake had exhausted all his fixes, so he ordered me a new unit. He removed the malfunctioning unit and installed the new one, all under warranty. Works perfect now. Jake and Loni could not have been nicer and more professional. I HIGHLY recommend them. You would be crazy to use any other company. Awesome. read more

We had scheduled a maintenance check-up on our AC unit. Our HVAC technician was Lawence who called to confirm the appointment. Very knowledgeable. Promptly diagnosed problem and was able to fix it. Furnace part was under warranty however the labor was not and this was quite expensive ($400/hr). Also the initial diagnosis visit was not free. Nevertheless problem was solved in a prompt manner. read more

I really tried to give this company a chance, but at this juncture, there is something seriously wrong. From my perspective they just aren't experts on the mini split front. They had to come out to repair their initial work at least 10 times, maybe more. On one of the repair days, the owner admitted he had novice installers do my installation, which was why a bunch of the connections weren't secured (and why we had a bunch of leaks). Some of the leaks just missed my son's PC. Oh, and every time we called with a problem, the service guys they sent were so rude! As if it was our fault or they were bothered to have to keep coming out. We paid upwards of 15k for these splits, so having problems right away and then ongoing has been a huge disappointment. We also paid extra to have them do routine servicing of the filters (so we don't have to), which has been another problem because whatever they did, one of the mini splits now makes a gurgling sound even when off. My son can't sleep and there's nothing I can do to make it stop. Here's the deal- they might be really great at other things, but I wouldn't hire them to install mini splits. It's been a misery. read more

I looked at several HVAC companies before I selected Liberty Mechanical to install a new furnace and replace the existing ducting. Jake and his crew were very professional. They arrived on time and were very considerate while working in our home. It was immediately apparent that attention to detail is important to them. Although it is a little early to do a comprehensive review of the hardware, it seems to be working very well at this point. Jake and Lori were a pleasure to work with and the price was competitive, if not a little lower than the other installers. If you are in the market, I recommend that you get a quote from them. read more

Liberty Mechanical is a wonderful company and I highly recommend their services! The team is excellent- responsive, helpful, and well priced. They sent me a detailed proposal for a mini-split in record time, and provided all the documents I needed for approval. I so very wanted to move forward, however the Home Owner's Association of my complex didn't allow the plan to move forward due to their own ridiculous policies. I owe a huge "thank you" to Jake and Loni for helping me as much as they could. I strongly recommend this company - they did a beautiful job on my friend's home. read more

I was desperate to get AC this Summer as last year was oppressively hot. We live in a community townhomes with an HOA that is focused on not having any alterations on the exterior of any units. We had 4 companies look at our situation and come up with potential solutions. Jake was the only person to go outside the box and cater to my HOAs needs. He found a solution that the HOA would accept. The Install was flawless. Loni really helpful with scheduling and answering my questions in a fast timely manner. I highly recommend Liberty Mechanical. 5 star plus! read more

Jake and his team did a wonderful job installing a new furnace and Air conditioner. He looked over my current furnace closet in the hallway, then climbed up in the very large, open crawl space above, and made the suggestion that the entire unit (furnace and A/C) be installed up there instead of the furnace closet below. So now I also have a brand new huge storage closet in the hallway! They were on time as scheduled (this was VERY important to me), neat, clean and cost effective. Thank you Jake and team! read more

After getting several bids for a new AC unit I met with Jake at Liberty Mechanical. I found Jake and Liberty to be the right balance of knowledgeable, professional and reasonably priced. The somewhat tricky installation was handled quickly and professionally leaving the home and patio neat and clean. The install team of Ryan and Gustov worked very well together and both were courteous and professional at all times. We are very very happy with the process and our new AC! read more

Highly recommend. We had central heat and air installed in the spring of 2019. Ours was a tricky / tight install because of limited attic space. Quote was accurate, installers professional and very "white glove", follow-up when needed has been quick and straightforward. Forget the guys you see on TV! read more

I just called Loni for a quote to come out and change out a thermostat which I will provide, and she quoted $187.50. Seems a lot for a 15-minute job. On the positive side, Loni was very professional and courteous when I told her my feedback on her being very expensive. So to be fair, they may do great work on big jobs at a reasonable price, and just don't have the time for small jobs so they charge a lot? Some of the reviews state they have great prices; that just was not my experience. read more

This is a short review. Liberty Mechanical is the best. Fair prices and excellent work. I have used them at my residence and at rentals.

This company, its staff, its product and professionalism are top notch. All the gentlemen that came over for a consultation and installed the one-room air-conditioning unit were knowledgeable, experimented, polite and efficient. If you're looking for a product to just cool or heat your one room, this Mitsubishi unit is the best. Now we don't have to hear or cool the entire house, just the bedroom this summer. I got quotes from 7 different HVAC places in order to change my furnace in order for the Quieter homes program (it's a program through the city for those in the flight path). I must highly recommend Jake with Liberty Mechanical . Not only was he the MOST knowledgeable OUT OF 7 different HVAC companies but he came in with the best price by far. All work completed in 2 days and now I am ready for the quieter homes program to install my ac. The way I found Liberty mechanical was from Nextdoor I asked for recommendations and someone gave Liberty mechanical an awesome review. After getting 7 quotes I noticed huge differences between each companies knowledge and install ideas. Jake was a superstar he knew his stuff forwards and backwards. I got a York 4 ton system . I recommend Jake 619-419-0505 to everyone and I will use him again in another property very soon . Installers Billy and Miguel were great highly professional and very talented. read more

I have owned two homes and replaced the heater on both once moving in. I say this has I have done a considerable amount of research on the subject. My uncle is also in the heating industry and routinely gives me pointers on what to look for. After do my research, speaking to heating installation companies and getting quotes I settled on Liberty Mechanical. They were not the least expensive, but they could easily articulate the differences in the option, cost differences and pros/cons. He recommend high quality products (York) which was I was very familiar with. Also Jake was willing to spend time speaking with my uncle which further validated we had made the right choice taking into account my needs, total square footage and climate. This gave me peace of mind. Jake and his colleagues have a work ethic and commitment to the job like no other. They were not concerned with beating traffic, heat of the day or other. Their priority was getting the job done right and on time. They were polite, courteous of my time and home. I highly recommend Jake at Liberty Mechanical read more

We live in a small house and over recent years we have been looking for a cooling system to replace our portable air conditioning unit.  In San Diego, including the area that we are in, there are a week or two a year that we find the heat and humidity to be extremely uncomfortable.  The portable unit was not doing its job in keeping large areas of the house cool and comfortable.  In recent years we heard about some new cooling systems other than the wall box-type unit and the central air/heat system.  The new contraption is known as the mini-split system and we were interested in getting some quotes.  We called Liberty Mechanical toward the end of August but was told that due to the heavy workload in summer, they were not able to send somebody out until October 8th.  That was fine since we had others scheduled too.  There were some flaky ones and some no shows.  I met with Jake, the owner in early August.  He is a real professional and proficient in what he does and from the start came up with various suggestions for the project e.g. location of inside unit, capacity, equipment brand, etc.  We got an estimate for the Samsung units which came highly recommended.  Due to my procrastination, the installation date was set for November.  Jake came with a crew of 2.  Since Jake was the most experienced, he did most of the hard, technical work and the 2 workers were assigned different aspects of the project to execute at different times.  The process was lengthy and more complicated than I anticipated but the team was working extremely well together and in the end the project was a total success and completed in less than the allocated time.  Overall, Jake is the ultimate professional from his years of experience plus the personal qualities of integrity and trust.  Each step was methodological including the final clean up stage.  We are very happy with the installation and the equipment overall and can't wait to test it out this winter and definitely next summer.  Thank you Jack and crew and Loni (Jake's wife), the operations manager for a job well done - awarding you this 5 star review. read more

After much deliberation (we had few options on our lists), we choose Liberty Mechanical, Inc and it was the best decision. We wanted to replace 2 of our A/C units and ductwork. It was 2 full and a half day job. At first I was expecting some inconvenience during the process since they'll be all over the house for the job. I was wrong. Gustavo, Miguel and Jake were on time always, very professional, extremely thorough, explain every details, clean everything, friendly but polite and top of that, great attitude. They work very diligently every hour and finish the job on time. I was so happy with their services. Plus, Loni from the office, was simply amazing to talk to, understand the request very quickly and solve it right away. From my experience, Liberty Mechanical Inc. is flawless. Very impressed. read more
