    Combination shrimp pho And toppings

I order pho. It's tasty and soup is so perfect taste. They has lots of variety menus. Location is kind hidden area. But not busy street area. You should try here place.

I'm a review girly, i am disappointed that i read over 20 reviews before coming here just to find out none of y'all have good taste. i'm from the west coast, i've had some exceptional pho and i know everyone can't make it. this is one of those places that can't make it. if you're used to a flavorful broth, tender thinly sliced meat this ain't the place for you. first red flag was when i went to order the #2 pho, they ONLY do cooked meat. i should've got up right there bcs it just got worse. the meat isn't thinly sliced so you can't tear it apart, it's also super dry. imagine, chewing and chewing and chewing and the meat still intact. its super tough. which is why i prefer the raw thinly sliced beef. 0/10 broth had a decent flavor, 5/10 no chilli oil, 0/10 no limes but they did have lemons, 2/10 other then that, clean and quiet. the waitresses were nice, i didn't use the restroom but my partner did and she says it was clean.

Lien Hung Restaurant is a true hidden gem in San Antonio. This mom-and-pop shop serves the best pho in town. The broth is rich, the meats are tender, and the noodles are perfect. For authentic Vietnamese flavor, Lien Hung is unbeatable. Best in SATX!

Average pho place for San Antonio area, probably not the best option for pho. But if you live nearby or happens to do grocery shopping nearby and craving for pho then this place may be able to fill that craving. If you have time, there are probably better options out there.

Bun bo hue. Only place we have been to here that has both blood and pork foot!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this place! I have to agree with lots of other people here. The outside isn't great and would have been a deterrent if My friend hadn't gotten recommended this place. The inside was very clean. No carpet, no weird smells. We were both happy to see that they served their Vietnamese coffee the authentic way. We also noticed that they have Bahn Cuon! I have asked all over town for this dish and this is the ONLY place that has it! They also had drab pho which isn't very common to have either. We got the lemongrass chicken and bun bo hue and both were good! The food was piping hot and fresh. HUGE plus. The women there were very sweet. I will definitely be back.

Came in here on February 3 rd, around noon. This place is out of nowhere, but well worth the drive. Nice little restaurant, pretty extensive menu and they had some pretty good reviews. We were seated right away, our server was really nice and patient explaining us the menu as there is so much to choose from. The food was pretty awesome just not as authentic as I would like it to be. Definitely great value for the money in the portions were awesome. My recommendation is to stick with the Chinese food than the Vietnamese food. The one thing I did not care for was the older gentleman/owner staring at us on and off as we were eating awkward! I guess that's what happens when you pull up in a 2020 red Lamborghini . I guess Texas wasn't ready for that

The sketchy Vietnamese place is what people I know call this spot. The reason is for the gated store and parking area with bars around the restaurant. Inside it's not sketchy at all. Just a normal Vietnamese restaurant. They only take cash so make sure you're prepared. They have a mixed menu of Vietnamese and Chinese food. I had the chance to try both. First visit, I had the pho dac biet which is the special combination pho with all meats. Portion sizes are decent and flavors are pretty good. The next visit I had the pepper steak. It was different from the authentic one but still good. Usually it has a lot of black pepper which gives it a good spicy kick, but this one was more like a gravy sauce on beef. Enjoyed the food here.

My favorite combination Pho! At least once a week ordering this food.

Dinner was good. No complaints. One thing I loved was the generous portions of fish sauce (or whatever they bring with spring rolls).

I don't think it's truly authentic Chinese food, but an in between little diner with great and attentive service, reasonable prices and a lot on their menu. What we ordered came out super quickly and all the dishes were very good. We got egg drop soup (delicious), one stir fried seafood dish (shrimp and scallop- so good!), shrimp fried rice (great), the General Tso's beef (my husband loved this!), chicken lo mein. Generous portions for all dishes. I am sure this place is great for to go also because they must have had 25 to go orders in the 45 minutes we were there to eat.

It was coated with flour like fried chicken instead of corn starch which it should be Couldn't taste the black bean sauce although the sauce was strong Sweet and sour soup was full of good items but so much pepper it made me cough Soups are in tiny cups they call small bowls White rice is good and sticky Shrimp with lobster sauce is nothing like it should be, mostly corn and tasteless, I mean tasteless like water Not the usual recipe others serve. The beef rice noodles were like I would make from a reg pan at home without, again, taste. They need that wok taste but it's not there So disappointed, not cheap either , easily $18 a plate Place was clean and looked decent but what good is that if the food is lousy?

We noticed the decor had changed (yes, I said it had been many years) and it was quite nice! We were seated promptly and placed our drink order (tea came with lunch). We ordered Rangoon as a starter. The lunch specials came with soup and egg roll, and fried rice. DH ordered his litmus test dish for American style Chinese- General Tso chicken. The portion was generous. The sauce was tasty. The chicken pieces tasted like your average frozen nuggets tossed in sauce. It's that familiar "seasoning" to the chicken and coating- iykyk. Not bad at all, just not the best. He enjoyed his egg drop soup. I opted for Hunan Beef. The sauce was thicker than I prefer, with an almost gelatinous consistency. The hot and sour soup was nice, a little more sour than hot. We both thought the fried rice that came with lunch was a little bland. Maybe the entree version is better? Each special was under $10, and it's definitely a great value.
